hmmm, never met a man that I loved at first sight. I must know him quite well before I feel love.
But with my child, now that was love at first sight. First moment I saw him, I loved him deeply.

It is true that the feeling of "in love" or "falling in love" comes and goes, sometimes very quickly. In my experience, the only reason that real love dies is because no one tends to it. Or one may tend to it, but the other becomes indifferent. Love matures and takes different forms over a lifetime. It is up to us to recognize love in whatever form it takes at that moment.
For instance, a wife that helps her husband during cancer treatments will feel love differently from the man that just married his sweetheart. Both are love, only in different forms. It is up to both people in a relationship to recognize, appreciate and tend to their love.

I think that opposites can be best friends. I have a best friend that is female. She has known me for years and carries all my secrets. I also have a best friend that is male. It helps that he's known me his entire life and that he's my brother.

money means not a lot to me. But wit will get me every time. Helps if he looks good. Don't want ugly babies!

Doesn't matter if we will forgive her. Will you forgive her? Seeing as how you already have a new girl in mind, does it matter at all?

I had a guy at work that I had just met the day before telling me that his wife must be cheating on him because she bought herself some pretty underclothes. Then asked me if I wanted to go on a date the coming Friday. No thank you!

buddy, you did not ask for acceptance for what you have done, you asked for opinions. Opinions are what you got.

@spikedcylinder - I would normally agree but I have met some that would cheat in front of their partner. Not good people! But in general, you are right.

cucchi, I've been reading your thread for a few days now. I just wanted to say to you that it doesn't matter one bit what anyone here or elsewhere tells you. You love him, he loves you. In the end, he is the one that makes your heart happy. Keep that, it's hard to find.
