Greetings my nairaland peeps. I pray God continues to stand behind you guys no matter what these evil humans do. But I do want to make one thing clear here because I know most Nigerians have a short memory or memory loss that if things should pan out better in years to come it wasn't and isn't because tinubu and co did any darn thing it was just simply God's mercy and His grace and because of the people who have God's mind at heart to change things and not the other way round because I trust some Nigerians if the above statement I made comes to pass they'll start giving props and credit to whom isn't due as is their normal way of doing things which won't be great. I just say make I point that aspect out which people seem to always forget. Happy weekend. Shalom.

Good morning Madam. Pray to God to really help you because from this statements alone: My husband is a good man, he cares for me and the kids. I know he loves us but I’m tired of his cheating ways.

He beats me at any slight provocation, calls me names like stupid, useless, a person without life. I have caught him cheating numerous times and the painful thing is I can’t cheat on him because it is irritating and I love him, you seem to have the wrong perception of who love is. Yes I used who because God is love. Would God or someone who has the essence of God in him or her hurt you purposely every now and then and if unknowingly not find a way to refrain after he/she has been made aware of such actions? No Ma. I once dated a narcissist woman(not saying your husband is) but I knew first hand that you can't change them, no amount of love given or what you do will ever change them. I went on quora and checked and read from victims, spiritual and psychological people who narcissist really are and was scared to the bone marrow. It was as if they had met her personally. So my dear pray and ask wise people for advice. I can't even proffer a solution, I had to hint you on the changing ish hence my reason for sharing my own pain because I had to cut the said narcissist out of my life after she discarded and kept on cheating with several people and acting like she wasn't doing anything wrong.

You see this construct called time ehn I fear am gan, I really fear am before you know so much time has passed and if not God's mercies you'll find we haven't really progressed at all but by then they in government will have done their time and left and before you know it's water under the bridge.
The other day people were praising Obasanjo about how at his age in the airport he still does this and that forgetting he was and is still part of our problem. A journalist friend of mine actually revealed some Very startling and scary details on how far gone the so called leaders have really taken us; went to interview Mr Obj himself and the man asked him to switch all recording off that he'll only speak off the books; Mr Obj himself admitted that theirs no hope for this country that for hope to exist he and 21 other people who are the ones ruling and holding this country to ransom must be eliminated, when asked further what the way out was said we should persevere and see what God will do eventually. I fear that day o! And when you look around and see tribalism, religion, nepotism, partisan politics and general hatred flying round amongst us people it really looks bleak except God decides to act for the innocent ones sake. I don wash my hands commot for Nigerian(all the ones described above) people matter honestly. They don't deserve to be fought for or protected. They seem to like oppression. Ciao.

Human being no fit know beauty pass God himself wey do am and mind you He's own form of beauty na free of charge. Greetings Boss. Well I wouldn't say it's a curse. You just happen to be blessed with empathy and would help at all costs but like most have said here you aren't God! You have needs as well and whether you like it or not you have limitations. Life is about balance, even God is a balance being. Since you can't provide out of thing air rely on what you were given/earned which is not even readily available as you may have noticed meaning you either have or you don't at any given point in time so if you do have to give please give but don't borrow(very important) don't borrow. Matthew 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
From the verse I posted up there you must have guessed why I emphasised on the borrowing thingy; if you haven't guessed look at the verse again and focus on the pearls before swine and let me point it the swine being referred to here are people not pigs o! If you read the first part ending with dogs(same reference Boss; people. That's why they refuse to pay back, use your empathy against you, insult you afterwards etc. Learn to sift the wheat amongst chaff in people and do likewise(no be sin at all). And you must give give don't borrow if you don't have(genuinely) that's where balance applies tell them you don't have and clear your conscience leave the interpretation to them period. It is great but one thing I do know about running commentaries is; it's unique to each individual and his personality technically, it may be done in English yes but copying accents or being poetic about it as Drury has decided to do it doesn't make it the benchmark for commentaries so to speak. It's always unique to the individual and sometimes the game being played as well also determines how well a commentary could go for an individual as well whether the commentator is the play by play one or the colour commentator or has the ability to do both. That being side this is nice.

I need very mature advice here.

I'm a picky person when it comes to making relationship choices. For me the attractiion has to come from my end otherwise I'll find it difficult to accept the individual.

There's this guy, very mature and. I'm sure will be older than me or we'll be of same age I love watching his contents on Facebook and what attracted me to him was one of his sit down videos where he talked about premarital sex and the dangers of engaging in it as a Christian. I was wowed that a dark handsome man like him could speak against such practices and his audience that day were youth and teenagers.

I began to observe him and noticed he addresses the youth more and is always teaching them moral and academic lessons. I somehow felt connected to him and one day summoned the courage to ask him if he's married. He didn't reply.

I recently came across his video again and asked him for the last time on his comment section if he's married and I said this was the last time I was going to ask him this question. He now replied that he is not married.

I don't know, would it be wise if I take a shot at him or try being his friend. He's a Born again brother and my spec.

Please sincere advice.

Well there's no rule book anywhere in the world that states sacrosanct that for a relationship between a man and woman to occur it must be the man or males that initiates it first na here you ladies have it backwards. Also as long you are born again yourself genuinely as well and sincere in your heart should you try this(i can't emphasise this point enough for you to understand). The worst that will happen is he might say no. Iin life it's either yes or no. Being rejected doesn't which comes with no doesn't mean a damn thing in life regardless of how other people might see it. Goodluck.
