If you tried and still got the 2 years suspension, use the 2 years to dive into software engineering. If you do it with all you've got, you will later found out it is an opportunity in disguise. You will never regret it, infact you will be better than many of your mates who may still be wallowing in the labour market.

NOUN is the best when it comes to distance learning. I just started a program in NOUN and the only regret I have is why I haven't tried it since. And they are more recognized abroad.
