EdiskyHarry:Please use Google to check the meaning of criminal, then comeback here to justify why you call him a criminal. Also show evidence of how he has used threat, fear and gimmicks to manipulate his members to suck them dry. Otherwise you are the real definition of a "fool". Please check the meaning of "fool" before you respond, so that you expose yourself furher. |
Righthussle:Am I surprise? 😆. See mindset! You will call them thieves because you don't know who a thief is. Hate him or not, you can never erode such honor on him given by God. Who know you self? Maybe Nairaland! 😆 |
Orinechi:With your entire wealth of wisdom and level of understanding, is that the only thing you can say? |
Nice to see you write "prosperity pastors" (Oyedepo, Ibiyeomie, Adeboye); no longer "as poor as a church rats" rhetorics. You think you can equate human wisdom with spiritual wisdom! You can disagree with them (I don't have problem with them) but to say their teaching is heretic and a scam, it shows the level of your understanding of the principles of kingdom wealth and worldly wealth. I am yet to never see anyone who disconnects from what favours him or her. So please, follow what favours you. If this your disagreement with them oils your prosperity, please stick with it and stop attempting to fool those who enjoy kingdom wealth through the teachings and gifts of these genuine prophets of God. |
My name is Agha Collins Ochonogor, am a native of emu-obodeti in Ndokwa-west local government area of delta state. I am forced to write this piece because it looks like every measures taken to resolve this issue has fallen on deaf ears. My experience is narrated as follows. On the 24th of June 2017, a incident has been reported to the Nigerian Police, Ororeokpe Division. it was the case of a man who has taken his own life (suicide) at his own residence. The man in question happens to be my father (Mr. Sunday Agha). Before his death, he was living in the house with two of my brothers Victory Egbune(19yrs) and Chukwudi Agha (27yrs). The three of them have been living together like that since the early part of this year. on the day the sad incident took place, my brother, Onyeka Egbune discovered that my father had died by hanging himself when he went in to give him breakfast - at about 11am. hence, the moment he discovered the ugly incident he asked my brother chukwudi to help him bring the corpse down, just to see if there is anything that can be done to save the man (the mistake of two people who were not exposed). when they both saw that my dad had passed on Onyeka Egbune decided to run straight to my mother who was living not too far from the our house. his reason for not alerting the immediate neighbours was simply because of the circumstances surrounding the death. I, Agha Collins Ochonogor was in Port Harcourt when a call entered into my sim but i was unable to take it. the sim was in my modem. i only heard my mum and onyeka egbune calling out my name. I immediately knew something had gone wrong. i tried calling them back but the call was on waiting. a few minutes later i tried to reach my sister, Mrs. Itsekiri Angela and she gave me the shocking news. as at the time she was giving me the news, she was on her way to the house to confirm what she had heard from my Onyeka Egbune. According to her, when she got there she decided to go to the Nigeria Police Command, Ore-Okpe Division to lauch a complaint of what has happened. and immediately an inspector by the name Asukuo was assigned to the case. the inspector followed her to the house, the corpse was still on the ground. Simply because he was looking at the corpse, and it was very obvious it was suicide, he only decided to ask a few questions. the corpse was later taken to the morgue on that same day. After Mrs Itsekiri had confirmed the incidence she called my brother's line to give use the info. I had instructed that nobody should be told about the incident until i come back. My reason was simple - the cause of death is something that must be communicated to the people in the village in person, and not by phone. On sunday, the 25th of June 2017, i got to our house in Osubi at about 12pm. not too long it started raining heavily. i wanted to see the I.P.O and equally see the corpse in the mortuary before going to the village. i finally made up my mind to go the village the following morning. That sunday evening, three individuals paid us a visit - members of Emu-Obodeti Progressive Union. it is my village association. they said they had come to look for my father. After much deliberation with my sister, i decided to excuse one of them out. I told him that my dad passed on. i told him the circumstances surrouding his demise. he expressed his shock and decided to leave with the other two persons. On our (i traveled with my in-law) way to the village on Monday 26th June 2017, my sis called and asked if i am aware that everyone in the village was now aware that my father had passed on. I never knew that there was even more waiting for me. [A little family background - My uncle(Chief Isaac Agha) and my mum (Mrs. Agnes Egbune) along with all the children (seven of us) had never been in good terms. even my father was not so much in good terms with his brother. a strife that started a long time ago.] the moment i appeared on the road to my village i took a bike to my father's maternal village. with my small intro on our family background, you could undersand why i did not go straight to my uncle in my hometown. so when i got to my father's maternal village, i met with one of my cousins (Mr. Friday Azagba) and narrated the whole incidence to him. he jumped up and said, "I said it! these children can never kill their father. I have stayed with them before". it was then i knew the villagers had been misinformed on the matter. but who had started this? according to my cousin, they were instructed to beat me up whenever i showed up. the plan was for me to go to my uncle with my cousin, but after a lot of quarreling in my father's maternal village my cousin told me he was not going to be following me to my uncle's place. we left for my uncle's place, which happens to be my hometown (Emu-Obodeti). when we got there, a certain Bendic narrated all that i have said in the other village. they decided to ask some questions. some i answered and some i had no answer to. but i must state at this point that even some of the questions were not related to the matter on ground. my uncle concluded by saying that i should not return to the village regarding my father's death. that was how i left the village. i came back from the village to meet the town union people in my house. they said they were only asking some questions. we went to the morgue together to see the corpse of my late dad. they saw it and started asking questions. they simply did not believe that he hanged himself even when the mortuary attendant who was on duty them that the corpse he saw before he carried out embalming was the corpse of a man who had commited suicide by hanging. we left the morgue and went to see the IPO and they requested that pictures taken at the scene be seen. the IPO just stylishly coined his way out of that request - it will be unprofessional for him to do that. the following morning we came to the IPO to file the case with the police and we met a host of persons. the people from my town union and people who were sent from the village. they numbered up to 10. the IPO was trying to explain to them that what he saw was a man who killed himself and nothing more but they refused. the IPO concluded by asking them to bring money for an autopsy. that was there the spokesman, one Clement made it known to the IPO that they were going to transfer the case to asaba, the delta state capital. about two weeks from then, i recieved a call from my sis that the case had been transfered to Asaba. i had returned to port harcourt when i received the call. that was how we started shuttling asaba to answer questions upon questions. finally they were told to bring money to carry out an autopsy which they finaly agreed. the autopsy was slated for the 28th of july 2017. the day came up and it was a friday. we dressed up and got the police station. the time was supposed to be 11am, but the autopsy eventually commenced about past 2pm. the autopsy man walked into the mortuary with two other assistants. the moment the autopsy man stepped out, i heard his assistant saying - 'this man died by hanging. Look at the mark on his neck.'...it was time for the autopsy to begin proper and some persons were selected to witness the procedure. after everything the autopy man confirmed that two bones were broken in my late dad's neck, and that those two bones can be broken by either stragulation or hanging. that inexplicable uncertainty by the autopsy man was what led to our immediate arrest and detention that friday night. I spent 5 days in the cell for something i new nothing about. my sister and i were later released on the 2nd of August 2017. however my two brothers were still left in the cell. i started running around to see if there is a way the issue can be settled outside police station. i called my cousin in my mother village and briefed them of what was going on. they selected some persons to go see my uncle. after so much talk they told him they were going to get back to him. the sent a message again to my uncle telling him when the entire should meet and sort out the whole issue but my uncle refusred them from coming. saying they should only come on one condition - that we admit that we killed our father. my sis pastor now got in touch with a judge in their church and told him everything that was going on. the judge now arranged for a meeting between the children and the other aggrieved parties. we were able to come to a conclusion. both parties agreed to settle out of police station. these were their demands: 1. My father be given a proper burial (even though they are not willing to participate financially) 2. the children must pay all the debts that was owed by my father we the children now demanded that our brothers be released for bail as well as full reconciliation with the family. this very meeting took place on the 13th of Aug 2017. only for us to realise that the police has charged the matter to court. My question is - what kind of country are we living in? even when the complainant is saying we want to withdraw our petition so our sons can be released, the police is busy charging the matter to court. please i need urgent help on this becasue my brothers are innocent. we are all innocent. |
