Yes...Our operational base is in Akwa Ibom state.

I'm interested in this business, the only issue I have is the distance.

That notwithstanding we might be able to work something out.

Please share your email address or send me a PM

Be aware that I will need to review your financial records for the last 24 - 36 months before I make any commitment

@Nitric, This is your thread, so I don't want to derail discuss. What is your assessment of the response from @dedons.
Please feel free to approach Dedons if you are also interested in the transaction.
I am satisfied so far but I need to probe further to determine the nature of items to be supplied, confirm business registration, review financial records regarding previous LPOs and generally assess his experience and competency.
I have sent him an email requesting further information.

Are you solely able to provide the financial obligation?
I am solely able to provide the financial obligation but being that this would be my first time of doing business with him I will possibly only accept to finance just a proportion (Please note that I have not yet given a firm commitment yet, I will need to conclude my due diligence before I decide whether to proceed or not)

@dedons, are you able to provide financial records or balance sheet of at least 2years of operations?

2) It will be agreed on by both of us

3) Exactly 30days after delivery

4) Samples of the products have been sent to the company and have been confirmed to be exactly what is needed

5) I don't really have a collateral but I can go through any legal process.

6) Yes, payment can be made directly to investors bank account. it's left for me to inform the company about it.

I hope to hear from you. As LPO starts counting from Monday the 8th of June and will only last for a week.

You can reach me on 08172709501.

Can we chat on WhatsApp?

The questions @Heleex asked are in order and it's obvious he is experienced in business/project finance.

Answering these questions here will not constitute disclosure of trade secret therefore I see no reason why you want to move the conversation to WhatsApp at this stage.

I have checked out your profile and it was created in 2009 therefore I'm confident you're not a scammer that is why I have taken my time to explain the importance of the questions and why you need to answer them.

[quote author=Heleex post=90346475]
What is the average amount of the LPO on monthly basis?

Before any serious person commits to an engagement he/se would like to have an idea of the scale of the transaction. The volume also gives an indication of your experience level.

What is the percentage split of profit?
What is your proposed profit sharing formula with your financier?

When is the normal payment for the LPO?
How long will it be before the company makes payment on the invoice. Depending on the company it could range from 14 - 45 days

How do you intend to mitigate the risk against investor's capital?
What steps would you take to ensure that you perform the contract to specification such that the company that issued the LPO will not have any reason to unduly delay payment or make deduction for poor-performance?

Are you ready to provide collateral and go through legal processes for security of investor's fund?
Are you ready to sign an agreement that will set out the terms of the relationship and the obligations of each party to the transaction?

Are you willing to do domiciliation of payment for the LPO to investor's account?
What this means is that when making payment the client will route the payment straight to the bank account of the investor.
This is a good way of ensuring that the proceeds are not diverted by you.
Personally as far as I am concerned this is the most important condition and based on my previous unpleasant experience before I will never even consider financing this type of transaction no matter the ROI if domiciliation of payment into my business account is not in place!

Not interested in real estate for now, please see my reasons in my response to goakky2010

Nitric:

I'm really not that keen on investing in real estate at this time.

I think real estate ties down funds for a long time and most times it's difficult to predict the returns because the projects tend to suffer cost overruns which impacts negatively on expected profits

I doubt if anyone would take you seriously on here. What you are demanding for requires industry expertise which can't be gotten for free or mere pittance online. If everyone had the knowledge, everyone would be in it.

Anyway, I have been involved in legal and compliance for several fintechs and what I can tell you for free is that there are several ways the loan companies operate. Some operate using a Money Lender's License and some go ahead to purchase MFB Licenses.

Money Lender's Licenses can be gotten officially below 100k and unofficially below 250k. They are issued by the Magistrate courts. MFB Licenses would cost you Millions to purchase a weak MFB and then recapitalize and change the board. Approvals come from the CBN.

The fintech space is becoming increasingly regulated but it's very very profitable.

Thanks a lot for your input, it's well appreciated smiley

We have been in the business for 1 year and some month and before we started, I was mentored and had my internship with Uloma Ashu, owner of IRecycle, Abuja. We have a business proposal ready stating our financial projections and what the equity will be utilised for.

Financial projections are good but I think historical results carry more weight because they give an indication of the capabilities of the business and therefore serve as a basis for making realising and achievable projections because you are will be in a better position to factor in seasonal trends in revenue the revenue cycle.

I would prefer to have financial records for at least 2 years

One of the most technically demanding aircrafts to fly. An helicopter is one machine that's actively trying to kill you as you try to keep it in the air.

The aerodynamic properties of an airplane makes it possible to land safely despite a loss of engines. But if it's an helicopter, you're done.

RIP to the dead.

What you have said is true...if a helicopter looses it's tail rotor there's no chance of landing the helicopter safely! sad

The thing is most upcoming artists are overly excited when they see a record label is trying to sign them.

They won't even read the contract they are signing thoroughly or use a lawyer which can put them through... They are always too eager because they see it as an avenue to reach the top. It is after they sign the contract they will know the soup they are in.

I just hope the upcoming artists won't be desperate in getting signed and at least go through the contract they are signing so they won't be a Modern slave shocked shocked shocked

Even if an upcoming artist reads the contract 100 times there is no way he's going to decline signing it cos he knows how long he's been walking the streets looking for a sponsor!

You can use a fraction of that money to invest in recycling business and get amazing return in the two years speculated.

We at Axon Recycling are looking for investor to help us increase our scale of business. The recycling industry is an emerging industry in Nigeria and Africa and based on the economic downturn forecast due to the pandemic, opening new economic and industrial frontiers is one of the way of preventing it.

We can be contacted via email at axonrecycling@gmail.com or via the number in our signature.

How many years have you been in business?

Do you have financial records for the last 2 years (By financial records I mean bank statements which prove that the company has been earning revenue)
