Your offer to pay 4% ROI every month is acceptable to me but my request for collateral security before I release money to you is non-negotiable (Third party asset is not acceptable, it must be something that is movable and belongs to you with evidence to show you paid for it)

I was getting interest rates of 11 - 12% per annum but it has now fallen to 10% and below which is why I want to put the money in something else.

Since you have your cash in forex you're better off leaving it there because the Naira is presently loosing value

Good morning sir,

I’m from major coast construction company, am seeking for an investor to expand my goal on concrete block molding and interlocking, with over 4years of experience i know what it takes to run a successful one with little or no problem, my plan is realistic with good interest rate and i won’t let you down because profit is certain. Within 4months you will have your capital and interest back

Sorry I'm only considering companies that are already running and have been doing so for at least 24 months.

Nice to note that you are looking at some prospects.

Fixed deposit look like loss to me when inflation is factored in. What is the interest rate one can get for fixed deposit? Deduct inflation and what will be left. Well it serves as a means of cash preservation until one can find a safe and secured investment for his funds.

I was just looking at your requirements and wondering if you can get a mutually beneficial deal if you are so risk averse as implied in your posts.

Rewards correlate with risks, while negotiating your reward, be nice to the guys putting up with more of the risks. Such understanding makes for better long term relationships.

I am setting up a vegetable oil production business now. It is still at the construction phase, so production and cost history like you will require are none existent.

We have some fancy feasibility report, previous industrial experience and some appetite for risks. If it goes well we should be able to get between 10 to 20% of the working capital per production batch. That should give us up to 30% ROI based on working capital per month.

Vegetable oil is a fast moving consumer goods, so demand for it is healthy. Now the problem is this, at the current construction stage the risks are still high, there are raw materials supply risks, production risks and sales risks although in different proportions. If we are able to surmount all the risks and get a successful business running and shunning out at least 30% return on working capital monthly why should I come to you for money and share part of my profit with you?

You will not have much leverage to negotiate for a good ROI for your capital if you wait until my business is successful and proven before you agree to come on board. I am just using this as an example.

I don't think that you should be disproportionately risk averse, if you are so risk averse then be fair by accepting low ROI from those you later agree to fund so that they don't feel used or taken advantage of.

You're correct fixed deposit is ultimately a loss when you you net off the effect of inflation against the interest received and this is why I want to remove the funds from fixed deposit and put them to more productive use.

Having said that I will only consider investments that provide some level of principal protection, I'm not overly interested in getting a very high ROI.

Investing in start-ups are completely out of it for me because I have been there before and got badly burnt

At the moment I'm about to close a deal with a palm oil processing company smiley

I know a few fast moving consumer goods companies that could match this investment. The beautiful thing is that they would pay you profits on a quarterly basis and your capital is returned every cycle which is 12 calendar months.

Normally they could be persuaded to pay double this (with smaller figures) but the problem is that with the Post Covid 19 recession coming up, profit margins will recede and there will be more investment capital from non institutional investors.

A larger percentage of the monies being appropriated as grants for different Covid 19 projects be it palliatives, equipment purchase PPE and even construction is flowing back into the economy seeking investment openings.

Are these companies based in Lagos?

I have two suggestions for you.

1. Mining - Convert that 16m to 100m in that 30months and also build an asset base worth over 160million Guaranteed. Invest or Partner with Miners Hub to guide you on how to tap into the mining sector profitably. Download their mobile app on google play store Miners Hub

2. Agro-FinTech - There is an innovative Food and Agric Finance Platform. Invest or Partner with them and earn over 10% monthly returns. They help farmers, food producers, food processors, food retailers and food consumers to easily save, invest and borrow funds for food and agriculture

I'm not interested in the mining business.

For the agro fintech, how long has the company being in existence, what is the name of it's website. I will also need to physically visit all the farms where it claims it has invested in the past.

6 plots of land can harvest 1000 bags of cucumber every 45 days, each bag is worth =N=2,500 , harvesting from this land per 1 and half months will give N=2,500,000 per 45 days and you can harvest like this up to 6 times a year thats 16m-17m every 12 months so this means bountiful profit for you.

Also

Binary trading , minimal risks, 90% success rate
Surely, its better than nothing, for real you make 7 out of 9 trades with this platform and with a $400 investment you can be assured of around $70 a day and thats $2100 a month, ... For life, it may not be much but it assured

Try to look into what I'm saying and if its OK you can call me or WhatsApp me on 08067344821

Are you actively involved in farming?

I will consider your cucumber plantation proposal provided you have invested your own money and have done it before for at least 3 consecutive farming seasons (I will need to see evidence of this)

I'm not interested in Binary Options/IQ options, Crowd1, Crowd2, forex trading or any sort of gambling that relies on luck!

Hi good morning,

Took me a while to study your proposal and reach out to you eventually. I am into agro commodities and Charcoal export. I have a good contract and an investment of 6.3M would fetch you a good sum monthly.

I sent you a PM so we could discuss better with facts and figures and proofs too.

Thank you

Someone already suggested charcoal business to me which I decline because of the terrible experince I had in the business.

The problems you will encounter when trying to export charcoal are just too many, if it;s not the difficulty of getting a container from Oyo or Kwara, it's the problem you will encounter when the truck gets to the port.

All of this involves additional additional expenses which impacts negatively on budgeted profit.

After export you now have to deal with your partner in Europe or Asia who will complain of too much moisture content so as to ask for additional discount and on top of that will still not remit your money on time as agreed!

I will only consider this business if you are ready for a 50-50 sharing of all costs and revenue but the customer must establish a confirmed Letter of Credit.

Same thing goes for the agro export . No Confirmed Letter of Credit no deal

If you haven't concluded on what you want to do, I'd advice you invest in plastic waste recycling, you'll never regret it, I promise, you can reach out to me I can give you some advice.

Stock market trading is a huge money multiplier also, if you can take your time to LEARN.

And also if you want to invest in industrial machinery procurement, I can give verifiable advice.
I hope you turn that money into billions ✌

I'm not interested in stock market trading in Nigeria.

I lost millions in 2008 when the market crashed!

Later I found out the bankers were doing "Pump and dump" where by they manipulate the prices to go up then they do public offers, after the public buys the shares they without dividend certificates while the insiders sell off their shares while the price is still artificially high but is on technical suspension.

You will eventually watch the value of your shares plummet and you can do nothing about it because you have not even received your share certificate.

Let's talk about the industrial machinery procurement but the condition is that you must be actively involved in it and know your way around; I will only put my money in it if I see evidence that you also have significant investment there.

Same thing goes for your plastic waste recycling business proposal

If someone is already running a profitable business, why will he need investment from a total stranger he met on the internet for his scale up? I am thinking such a person will have several options open to him because he has a going profitable business.

I am currently doing due diligence on a few prospects that look good.

If I'm not able close any deals here I will simply leave the money in fixed deposit where it is.

The funds in question belong to me therefore I'm not under any pressure or obligation to make returns to anyone smiley

the statistics is when you input
10 tons of PKN
You will get 4 tons of PKO 5.5 tons of PKC 0.4 tons of PKSL sludge
Prices
PKN is N125,000 per ton
PKO sells for N330,000 per ton
PKC sells for N28,000 per ton
PKSL sells for N90,000 per ton 6 million will start the business if you are interested

I like your analysis however I am not interested in starting or running the business per se because I will not have the time to monitor its daily operations

What I want is someone who is already running the business and who knows what he/she is doing so I can provide some additional funds to scale up operations.

Most people here just claim they are running a business but they get thrown off balance the moment you ask them to provide historical financial records to support profitability figures they have been churning out.

I am not ready to gamble with my money by investing in a start-up therefore it is only established businesses that I will consider but the owner must prove to me that the business is the one paying his bills before I make any investment.

Adverts / Re: Currenxbarter Needs Your Naira For Canadian Dollars by Nitric(m): 9:53am On Jun 13, 2020
kayjegs:
Hello, Nairalanders. Currenxbarter is a registered company in Canada that helps Nigerians in Canada to transfer money to Nigeria and vice versa.
You can set your exchange rate yourself and you can also use the company's fixed exchange rate.

Who are the services good for?
This service is good for Nigerians that are processing their permanent residences in Canada and would like to change their Naira to Canadian Dollars.
This service is also good for Nigerians who are trying to come to Canada to study and would want to pay school fees or tuition deposits.
This service is also good for Nigerians who import cars or other products from Canada.

Why are we asking?
We are always sourcing for Naira from Nigerians because we have many Nigerians that want to send money to their loved ones and they need better exchange rates. The rates are good for those in Nigeria and those outside Nigeria. For someone who has naira and will like to invest, there is an investment component. The investment is for a minimum of 60 days and maximum of 180 days.

Why should you invest if you want to invest?
The reason to invest is that you are investing your naira in a stronger foreign currency and avoid devaluation. Your investment stays in your investment account as Canadian dollars. Canadian dollars is a more stable currency than Naira. For example,
if you invest 300,000 Naira, your investment capital will be about 1,050 CAD capital based on 285 Naira to 1 CAD. In 60 days, it becomes 1,197 CAD and in 90 days, it becomes 1300 CAD.

What other advantages with Currenxbarter?
We have business partners that you can take advantage of. The advantage is that you get a discounted amount for their services through Currenxbarter. For example, Canadian registered immigration consultants who can help you in case you are interested in immigration services etc.

What other areas of business?
Currenxbarter is also involved in escrow services for large business transactions for local and international businesses (Canada). We are also looking for Nigerian sellers of items such as fashion designers, shoe designers that we can introduce to our customers in Canada. If interested, get in touch with us.

For other inquiries, please send an email to contact@currenxbarter.com, phone number: +1-306-700-6929
Visit www.currenxbarter.com

You are free to also ask your questions on this page and I will answer the questions on this thread. Thanks and God bless.

The highlighted part can only happen if the Naira depreciates during the period....there is no way of telling this for certain!
