In a heart-wrenching development that has cast a shadow over an already turbulent political landscape, the Daijoh family of Benue State is mourning the sudden death of Elder Gwamile Daijoh. The respected elder reportedly slumped and passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025, just hours after receiving shocking news of his younger brother, Hon. Aondona Dajoh’s resignation as Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly. The tragic event, first reported by D’naked Elder Zege’Orkwande on social media at 12:23 AM BST on August 25, 2025, has left the community reeling and sparked widespread speculation about the emotional toll of the political upheaval. Elder Gwamile’s death came shortly after Aondona Dajoh announced his resignation in a personally signed letter dated August 24, 2025, titled “Resignation as the Speaker, Benue State House of Assembly.” In the letter, Dajoh cited his decision as being “in good faith and in the best interest of the state,” expressing gratitude to his colleagues for the opportunity to serve as “the first among equals.” He pledged to continue representing Gboko West State Constituency as a legislator, signaling his intent to remain active in public service despite stepping down. Each patient who wants to travel for medical needs from Nigeria to India has different needs and expectations that must be understood individually. The first contact can be tense with a concern about the time that the service will occur, if the professionals who will help are the best professionals, this may even generate some uncertainty and anxiety interfering with the treatment, the medical care and the assistance he will receive. Understanding the patient holistically and dispensing the adequate care will help him to accept and continue the treatment while leaving the hospital. So, it is necessary to fully understand more than just the disease that the person has, the staff must understand the feelings of the patient. Many who come are lay people, have cognitive difficulties, face ethnic and cultural barriers, not always adapt easily to the place or fail to establish an effective communication. Moreover, the family or the legal guardian of the patient must receive due attention and be involved in the treatment as a link between the assistance provided by the hospital and the patient, reducing any barriers that may arise during the treatment of the patient. As a new situation, it may take some time until the patient and their families to feel familiarized with the facility and structure of the hospital, with the medical terminology and the administrative paperwork necessary to fill. On the other hand, there are patients who seem more comfortable and adapted, but actually know little about the nature of the services later becoming an obstacle to the delivery of care. To handle all these situations is of great importance that hospitals have mechanisms to ensure that such situations will not go unnoticed. This is where Heealthy has especially chosen accredited lineage, have a check-list covering the patients' needs and interests of the organization, to see if all procedures and protocols were followed properly. The failure in one may result in the absence of valuable information or problems may arise later during the care assistance. A major problem in this world where everyone lives in a hurry and is time-dependent seems to be the little effective communication between people, especially on items that can be left to deal later or there is no urgently need. The feeling that something can be done or told later can have disastrous consequences. When combined with other problems such as the difficulty in understanding the differences and the many cultural barriers faced within a larger country, the hospital can become an inhospitable environment for patients and healthcare professionals. To have an efficient assistance that meets the requirements proposed by the organization or the public authorities the attention is essential in those several stages that begin with the admission of the patient and continue with the transfer to another health service or the safe return to home. Heealthy makes sure that it does not end with the discharge of hospital. Post Credit: https://heealthy.com

Ghana's adjacent neighbor, Cote d'Ivoire, gets its name from a long relationship with elephants, and humble groups can some of the time be located out and about north from Navrongo to Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso. In Ghana itself, the most obvious opportunity with regards to seeing wild elephants is in the Mole National Park in the Northern Region, where for quite a few years they have been managed security. Current Ghanaians know about stories in the well known press about rampaging elephants causing devastation in outskirt towns however such episodes are uncommon. Individuals live for a long time in Ghana without seeing, or knowing about, wild elephants, however the colossal monsters have left a permanent check on Ghanaian culture and national personality. The shortage of elephants in current Ghana proposes that in the past they were chased practically to elimination for nourishment. The term 'slaughtering an elephant' is still connected with an awesome devour. In the beginning of autonomy, the veranda young men, supporters of Kwame Nkrumah, used to state, 'Osagyefo (The Savior) has murdered a major elephant, there will be bounty for all to eat.' Even now in the twenty-first century the elephant still assumes a key part in Ghanaian legislative issues, having been received as the logo of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) which ruled Ghana from 2001 to 2009 under John Kufuor, the main national pioneer to both enter and leave office equitably. The elephant, esono, remains a capable image in Ghanaian legislative issues yet it is much more recognizable in conventional culture, highlighting noticeably in Ashanti adages and arachnid, Ananse, stories. One surely understood axiom states, 'On the off chance that you stroll behind an elephant the dew won't wet you.' The veranda young men were likely trusting this would stay genuine, yet in the military upset of 24 February 1966, when their guardian angel was toppled, they came to comprehend a considerably more generally utilized African saying, 'When elephants battle the grass is trampled.' In the acclaimed stories of Ananse the creepy crawly, elephants for the most part assume minor parts as the future casualties of overcome seekers who wander advance into the woodlands than anybody has gone some time recently. Every so often, elephants are given a focal part, for example, in the tale of 'the brilliant tail of the ruler mother of elephants.' The elephant is depicted as having supernatural forces: she transforms into a lady, however with inadequate insight to show signs of improvement of an individual. This story is interested as it shows up in two forms. In the second form the ruler mother elephant with a brilliant tail is supplanted by sasabonsamhene, the boss or lord of the woods beasts, likewise with a brilliant tail. The sasabonsam is for the most part seen to be a horrible legendary animal and this proposes the elephant, esono, was comparatively seen as an effective enemy. Seekers may have dreaded and regarded the elephant however wood carvers must view this unmistakable goliath with much fondness. Elephants are cut in an awesome assortment of sizes and structures to pitch to voyagers and for send out. One prevalent little cutting portrays a line of modest elephants crossing a scaffold and single creatures are delivered from a couple of grams in weight to as huge as a man can lift or a little kid sit on the back of. The global exchange ivory has been restricted so elephants are never again chased for their tusks and can live calmly in national stops and amusement saves. Ideally their numbers will increment to pull in more visitors and add to the economy as they have never stopped to add to other imperative parts of Ghana's life. A Boko Haram troop of about 300 members invaded Magumeri town, in northern part of Borno State on Wednesday evening, setting ablaze a military facilities, police station and part of the town. A member of youth vigilance group, who spoke anonymously to our correspondent, said the insurgency group caught the soldiers guarding the town by surprise. He said the soldiers had to retreat after initial exchange of gunfire, giving the insurgents the opportunity to loot and lay waste the town. The civilians were said to have taken to their heels as soon as the strong team of the insurgents arrived the town at about 5:30pm Wednesday. He said; “They (insurgents) came in at least six Toyota Hilux vehicle, 10 motorcycles and some on foot. “They were over 300 Boko Haram as soon as they came into the town, they began shooting and the soldiers countered back but were overpowered with most of the soldiers fleeing. “This gave the insurgents opportunity to loot and burn the barracks to ashes as well as the police station.” He added that the casualty figure was still unknown. He, however, said that the military reinforced from Gubio and Maiduguri and had the town clear of the marauding insurgents. The Director of Army Public Relations, Brig. Gen. Sani Usman, confirmed the attack on Magumeri in two separate press releases. In the first release, he said: “Troops of 8 Task Force Division, Operation LAFIYA DOLE have thwarted an attack of Magumeri town, Borno State Wednesday evening. “The terrorists who came with some vehicles at about 6.00pmattempted to set the town ablaze and kill the residents but the timely intervention of the troops prevented that mishap. “The troops have neutralised quite a number of the attackers and those that escaped with gun shot wounds are being pursued. “So far, the troops have recovered three vehicles and large quantity of arms and ammunition.” He promised to give you further details on the pursuit and mop up operation. This details he later gave in the second release where he stated that: “Please recall that suspected Boko Haram terrorists attempted to unleash mayhem on Magumeri town, Magumeri Local Government Area, Borno State yesterday (Wednesday) evening. The timely intervention of the military thwarted the attack. “While troops are still consolidating and mopping up, it is imperative to state that preliminary investigation shows that the attackers of Magumeri came from the same community. The terrorists that attack the village are well known to the people. “It should also be noted that the village was never attacked throughout the period of the insurgency for some inexplicable reasons. The terrorists and their collaborators hibernating in the area were never exposed. There seems to be an unholy alliance between the terrorists and the villagers.” He added that: “Consequently, we are constrained to state that it’s now high time for the people to take up the fight themselves and help the Nigerian military and other security agencies to protect them. It is a grievous mistake and criminal offence to continue to shield or harbour any known Boko Haram terrorist in their midst. “The terrorists must be exposed and their movements promptly reported to the security agencies. The terrorists are inhuman and barbaric, therefore cannot be trusted to spare anyone in perpetuating their inhuman acts.” He further said: “It is imperative that all communities in the North East especially Borno State, should fully cooperate with the military and the Security agencies by exposing Boko Haram terrorists in their respective towns and villages.” Also confirming the attack, the Public Relations Office of the Borno State Police Command, Victor Isuku, a deputy superintendent of police, revealed in a statement that one police officer deployed to quell the attack was lost and another shot on the leg by the insurgents. Isuku, in the statement, said: “Yesterday evening, information was received that Magumeri town was under attack by Boko Haram terrorist elements. “On receipt of the report, teams of FSARS and EOD personnel were quickly mobilized to the scene. A mobile police Sgt. Haliru Aliyu deployed with the military in Magumeri on special duty was killed while one Sgt. Lawrence Ayeni sustained gunshot injury on his leg and is currently at the military hospital receiving treatment.” He added that: “A water tanker and a bus belonging to Magumeri LGA, and two other civilian vehicles were burnt. Military reinforcement from Damasak town to Maiduguri, engaged the escaping Boko Haram terrorists and recovered one Toyota Hilux vehicle mounted with Anti-aircraft gun from the terrorists.” http://www.bbcnigeria.info/boko-haram-sets-borno-town-ablaze-300-members-invaded-magumeri-town/
