If you're looking to work as a teacher in Thailand, ensure you keep your eyes wide open and scrutinize the recruitment agency thoroughly. Preferably, consult Google search, Google maps and watch out for the minutest of red flags.

In my case, a so called recruitment company by the name Global Travel Quest posed as a recruitment agency. They are not. They are fraudsters. Do not engage with them.

Specifically, one Alex Krygois and Bogdan Warhol are the brains behind the recruitment scam. They will tell you everything sweet and rosy, give you a forged contract letter, try to befriend you, pose as it they are truly working on your visa, then ask you to forward half of your flight ticket (to be reimbursed after your first week of work in Thailand).
