Normally, what you quoted means exactly what it means:
If you don't get an AD by the time your programme commences, then your application is no longer considered. In fact, by 30th September all registrations for appointment are reset.

You should also be aware that majority are in the same situation. Hiwever, given the peculiarities of this year, we don't know if things we be done differently. Everyone is simply waiting and hoping. There is no communication from the embassy.

I'd advice you wait till the end of this month to see if your registration is automatically cancelled. (In this case, you will get a notification, I beleive). Then you will know the next steps to consider.

Hello everyone, please I recently filled the online form to register for students visa under the B list and my program commences on the 5th October, 2020 though I have opted to take the online classes I am worried that the mail I received after filling the form says thus:
“ Approximately 4 to 6 weeks prior to your appointment to apply for a visa you will receive a e-mail with the exact date of your appointment.

If you don't receive an appointment confirmation email prior to your mentioned date of the beginning of your studies your registration can no longer be considered. In this case please cancel your registration. Thank you!”

What do I do in the circumstance please? Thank you everyone.
