I am seriously considering buying a piece of land as i think its a way to invest esp the way the economy is going, one can never tell when it would come in handy.

So, i was thinking of buying one within an estate as it would negate the omoinile wahala even though the price of the land might now be almost twice its original one because of this;however, i came across one company called Labrintos and they are selling off some plots at Safari Gardens and park estate at Akodo Ise Ibeju Lekki by Lacampagne Tropicana.

Can you please confirm if
1. they are a good and reliable property company
2. the area in question will be a good buy or if it is a no go area
3. i plan to spread the payment over a few months, what documents should i look out for.

Hmmmm...I have learnt to always hear the second half of the story before I judge in matters like this... because the thing we need to know are

1. The wife knows her husband better than we do...to know fully well that he might show up with flowers on her birthday so she purposely decided not to show up, we need to ask.."what happened within the 4 walls of their room before now"

2. A woman doesn't just get up and act irrationally especially a married one for that matter...

3. Let's think about it...in this age of public display of affections here and there...where husbands and wives outdo themselves when it comes to sending birthday gifts,flowers and the likes to the office...she's avoiding the pretence her husband is trying to pull off...public display that all is well..

A lot of stuff might be in-between and so if you ask me..I'll say..the matter wey we see so..(I'm Omawumi's voice)

Just read your complains.

Yes, you need to give them all the receipts from day 1 till date if u want your money intact. I did one with Standard Alliance myself and the best advice I got from my account officer then, was to make sure I kept the receipts because they were like paper monies.

So, try to look for all your receipts, collate them and submit..also make sure you have a coloured photocopy of every document you are submitting.

Don't worry, am sure they are smarter than wanting to scam or play you.

The bad experience I had was that I cashed out bfor the 5year period I signed up for so, I lost a great percentage of the money..imagine I was due to get 240k, I ended up with about 172k thereabout... I couldn't even figure out what percentage fine I had paid..it was heartbreaking.

Bottom line here is...get the necessary documents to them.
