He had bad PR

If you look at the Abacha economy, it was good ooh

Man was a killer that stole $billions but Abacha created the Petroleum Trust Fund and did significant capital projects across Nigeria

Abacha took Nigeria foreign reserves from $494m in 1993 to $9.6b in 1997, Abacha reduced the national debt from $36b to $27b, Abacha reduced the inflation rate from a crazy 54% to 8.5%....All these with oil price at $15 a barrel.

Abacha invested the seed fund of $1b to the Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas company...NLNG. Abacha set up the Aluminum Smelting Company. Abacha stabilized the fragile national balance sheet by introducing VAT.

Abacha administration is also credited with creating the most comprehensive and realistic blueprint for Nigeria's development through the Vision 2010 committee chaired by his predecessor

This life......

Abacha was not the villain. Tinubu & his disgruntled faction of the NADECO were. Minus the political assassinations, Abacha was super solid in Economy & in sports. USA 94 & Atlanta 96 Gold Medals in football. Chioma Ajunwa’s Gold Medal as well.

Music/RadioOlamide & Asake Stole My Songs - Blackface by NLCreator(op): 1:20pm On Oct 24, 2023
Veteran singer, Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo, aka Blackface, has accused YBNL boss Olamide and his signee, Asake, of stealing his songs.

Speaking in the latest episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, the former Plantashun Boiz member said Olamide, particularly, has jacked many songs in his career.

He said, “Olamide and Asake steal songs. Olamide has stolen many songs in his career. He jacked ‘Don’t Stop’ from me my song ‘Killa’.”

Blackface also accused Wizkid and Burna Boy of stealing their collaborative hit song ‘Ginger’ from him.

He insisted that ‘Ginger’ was inspired by his song ‘Twist & Turn.’

The veteran singer said other artists not only stole his lyrics but also jacked the sounds he created.

He said when he wanted to use the beat of P-Square’s ‘Do Me’ for his song ‘Erima’, he took permission from the producer, Joe.

Blackface, however, said he doesn’t mind writing songs for Nigerian artists, especially Davido, if properly approached.

The veteran singer added that he has been trying to collaborate with Tiwa Savage for years, but she hasn’t responded to him.

I am dismayed by the constant drop in the naira-usd exchange rate. During the last month, the dollar rose from ₦962 to ₦1100 on AbokiFX. That's 14.35%.
If this trend continues every month for 12 months, the exchange rate will rise to 1100*1.1435^12 = ₦5498/$.

PoliticsLabour Party To Suspend Peter Obi Over Certificate Forgery, Discrepancies by NLCreator(op): 5:18pm On Oct 17, 2023
The Labour Party (LP) has given its candidate in the 2023 presidential election, Peter Obi, 48 hours to make all his academic records public and clarify all the discrepancies in his certificates or be suspended by the party.

The ultimatum was given in a statement issued on Tuesday by its National Publicity Secretary, Abayomi Arabambi.

Arabambi condemned the spokesman for the Peter Obi/Datti Ahmed presidential campaign council, Tanko Yinusa for claiming that the allegation that Obi was impersonating his late elder brother was a farce.

Arabambi said, “The Labour Party at this juncture wishes to demand an answer to the following: what is the name of this so-called elder brother of Peter Obi who read computer science?

“What year did this Peter Obi’s elder brother die? What was the name on the secondary school certificate and University of Nigeria Nsukka certificate? What is the nature of the business of his brother? Where is Peter Obi's birth certificate? What was the name on Peter Obi's birth certificate?

“Why is it that the name on his birth certificate is different from the name on his school certificate? Why is the name on his school certificate different from the one written on his UNN certificate? Which university mobilized Peter Obi for his mandatory one-year NYSC? Why is the name on his NYSC certificate different from the name on his University of Nigeria Nsukka certificate?”

According to him, “One would have expected Peter Obi to offer a satisfactory response to Nigerians as to the reasons for explicit discrepancies in his academic records to reveal his true identity and save our party from further avoidable national embarrassment”.

He added, “But rather than toe this line of challenge, his attack dog descended to the arena of political somersault, leaving facts to promote audio fiction thus confirming our position that Peter Obi is using the name and certificate of his dead elder brother.”

Arabambi stated that it must first be made clear to the public that there was no evidence provided by Obi against the allegations of forgery, impersonation and inconsistencies contained in his school certificate, University of Nigeria Nsukka certificate and NYSC certificate.

“The Labour Party furthermore demanded to know why Mr Obi only deemed it fit and necessary to only submit his WAEC certificate wherein he failed to obtain the least requirement of credit passes in both mathematics and English which are necessary requirements to gain admission into any University in Nigeria.

“The Labour Party is also asking Mr Peter Obi to explain the circumstances that made him to have different names in different schools, public documents in such a shrouded and fraudulent manner, rather than employing blackmail and unnecessary sentiments.

“We challenge Mr Peter Obi to provide answers to all the questions raised above to clear the air of uncertainty about his person.

“We further admonish him to proceed to a court of law against the Labour Party or better still to ask his team of lawyers to petition the Inspector General of Police for defamation which will allow us an ample opportunity to bring in the authorities of his secondary school, University of Nigeria Nsukka and the National Youth Service Corp out for clarification on the inconsistencies.

“Failure to do this within the next 48 hours will attract his suspension from the Labour Party,” Arabambi stated.

PoliticsTinubu Loots Nigeria's 'Piggyvest' Account To Pay Seyi's Prostitutes - Hundeyin by NLCreator(op): 11:38am On Oct 16, 2023
An interesting note is that under previous administrations all the way until President Ahab, such adhoc USD expenses were usually taken from the NNPC account.

But since Ahab, even NNPC has no dollars left, so the drug pusher and his crime family are now raiding the Wheat Grain Levy Pool Account. That's like you breaking the safelock on your Piggyvest account with one small 200k inside it that you're never supposed to touch unless it's an emergency.

But it's not an emergency. They're spending it the way drug dealers typically spend money - in vast quantities on hotels, tacky shopping sprees and Venezuelan hookers named Carlita.

When that account is drawn down, and there is no longer any forex account left to raid, they're inevitably going to raid consumer forex accounts. If you're still keeping dollars in a Nigerian domiciliary bank account, then you have a very high risk appetite.

Fun.

One of the biggest and most obvious running scams around the world today is the fact that government spending, public contract awarding and incoming government revenues are not documented live and in real time on a public website anywhere.

It doesn't matter whether you're in Norway, Nigeria, or Nicaragua - it's the same opaque process. You typically have to send a "Freedom Of Information Request" to ask the government that you supposedly elected to give you a detailed account of the money it took in and where that money avtually went to, and then you have to hope they will grant your request.

Even if they do, what they typically offer you is just a series of statements of what they claim they made and how they claim they spent it. There is no forensic audit that is readily available. In fact, the only time a government institution typically has to undergo a forensic audit is when it is suspected of wrongdoing and the politicians get involved.

Civil services around the world - even in supposedly "democratic" countries - are far too opaque and unavailable for public scrutiny for them to be the central institution in any kind of "open society." This needs to change immediately, and the technology already exists. If JP Morgan, which does between $3trn and $5trn worth of transactions everyday can present Jamie Dimon with full visibility over every cent in real time on his computer screen, there is no reason why a civil service controlling a total annual budget of about $30bn somehow cannot do the same.

It shouldn't have to take an insurgent whistleblower like @PIDOMNIGERIA for Nigerians to know that the 15% Wheat Grain Levy Pool Account - an account opened in 2012 to hold receipts of a new 15% wheat import levy imposed by the Jonathan administration to discourage wheat importation and encourage local production of cassava flour (nigerianseminarsandtrainings.com/articlespg/40-…) - is now being used to fund $507,000 worth of hotel rooms, strippers, alcohol and shopping trips in New York by Bola Tinubu, his useless cokehead son, and his hangers-on like Dele Alake.

Instead of having to rely on intrepid journalists and whistleblowers to get hold of information like this - information that shows that the wheat levy you pay everytime you buy Agege bread is being used to pay for Seyi Tinubu’s expensive prostitutes when he follows his daddy to New York - there should be a publicly viewable credit and debit portal where citizens of a country should have full visibility over what their "elected" government is using their taxes to do.

This technology already exists and is in use on much bigger scales. This is not 1970 anymore. There is no reason for a drug dealer and his coke-sniffing, prostitute-paying entourage to be able to use the taxes we pay on our bread to pay for their jamborees in New York, simply because the information about where the money comes from and goes to is not available to us.

This must change!

PoliticsAtiku Also Forged His Certificates - Tinubu Tells Supreme Court by NLCreator(op): 1:07pm On Oct 15, 2023
President Bola Tinubu has levelled serious allegations of identity fraud and forgery against his primary opponent, Atiku Abubakar, in an attempt to punch holes in the PDP candidate’s appeal to have him disqualified at the Supreme Court.

According to Mr Tinubu’s counter affidavit filed at the apex court on October 12, and seen by Peoples Gazette, the Nigerian leader accused Mr Abubakar of submitting fake credentials to Nigeria’s electoral commission, INEC, in that he bore “Atiku Kojoli” on his primary school certificate and “Siddiq Abubakar” on his 1965 West African School Certificate and General Certificate of Examination (WASSCE).

While The Gazette had previously reported a change of name affidavit showing that Mr Abubakar in August 1973 legally regularised his name from Siddiq Abubakar to Atiku Abubakar, there is no clear explanation for the other name, “Atiku Kojoli.”

Mr Tinubu contends that there is no guarantee that Mr Abubakar was the man he claimed to be because of the inconsistencies in the names on his primary and secondary school certificates.

“It is the 1st appellant’s acclaimed primary school certificate bearing the name “Atiku Kojoli” and his purported 1965 West African School Certificate and General Certificate of Examination bearing the name “Siddiq Abubakar” (as opposed to the name “Atiku Abubakar”, which he claims to Nigerians and INEC to be his) that are yet to be explained by Jeda Primary School Adamawa (which he claimed to have attended), the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate, West African Examination Council or such other credible institution with the capacity to so do,” asserted Mr Tinubu in his counter affidavit submitted to the senior court on October 12 at 4:42 p.m.

“Now shown to me, attached hereto and marked as Exhibit 9, is a copy of the said Siddiq Abubakar’s 1965 West African School Certificate and General Certificate of Examination, submitted by the 1st appellant,” the president added.

On October 5, Mr Abubakar filed a motion at the apex court to introduce fresh evidence of forgery that contained a deposition of Chicago State University (CSU) registrar, Caleb Westberg, saying he could not authenticate the certificate Mr Tinubu tendered to INEC because the institution did not issue it.

But Mr Tinubu’s team of lawyers are fiercely opposing the motion, requesting that the Supreme Court give a judgement only on the basis of evidence admitted in the first court of trial where the presidential elections petitions tribunal had in September dismissed all the petitions filed by Mr Abubakar against Mr Tinubu.

The ultimate decision, however, lies with the apex court justices whose interpretation of law and carriage of justice could either land Mr Tinubu a hard-won victory or defeat.

PoliticsImprisoned Isese Priest Forced To Accept Fulani Dominance In Ilorin - Gazette by NLCreator(op): 11:22pm On Oct 12, 2023
Imprisoned Isese priest forced to renounce Yoruba tradition in custody, accept Fulani dominance in Ilorin.

Isese priest, Adegbola Abdulazeez, has been forced to renounce his belief in the Yoruba traditional spiritual system and pledge allegiance to the emirate in Ilorin as part of pre-conditions to regain his freedom, Peoples Gazette learnt on Thursday.

In a letter written by his counsel, Muftau Olobi, first reported by Sahara Reporters, the Isese activist was compelled to pen a sycophantic apology after spending weeks in custody and realising he needed to back down on his belief in order to regain his freedom. His elderly mother’s health has also deteriorated recently. Nafisat Adegbola was forced to travel from her residence in Oyo to Ilorin frequently to check on her detained son.

Although the personal apology letter was not made public, it was accompanied by an accompanying note from his counsel, who wrote that his client has not only “genuinely repented,” but has also been “purged of his exuberance” and is now “totally remorseful.”

A member of Mr Adegbola’s defence team, Adedamola Solesi, had previously clarified that the activist would not get justice in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.

“Tani Olohun cannot get justice in Ilorin. I have been able to feel the nerve of the police; they are unwilling to arrest these people when they harass us. I have been able to feel the nerves of the court. Both at the upper area court and the magistrate court. These people will continue to have their way even up to the court of appeal.

“They have a court of appeal here if you say you want to appeal. We are still at the lower court. We are not even yet at the High Court. If we continue on this path up to the court of appeal, our client (Tani Olohun) will continue to be in detention. In my years of practice, I challenge any lawyer in Nigeria to challenge me that what I am saying is not right,” Mr Solesi said.

Since his arrest on August 17 for insulting the emir in Ilorin, Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, and other Muslim leaders, several tactics have been used by his accusers in connivance with state institutions to frustrate any semblance of a fair trial even in the face of the charges filed, which critics slammed as preposterous.

Mr Adegbola lived and worked out of Oyo State until he was whisked in Gestapo style to Ilorin. Even though the police claimed a warrant for his arrest was issued in Ilorin, multiple sources have stated that the state’s ministry of justice and the attorney general are not aware of the proceedings that led to his arrest.

His associate, Owolabi Aworeni, said that the arrest and subsequent torture and dehumanisation that the activist has faced were secretly planned between the commissioner of police in Kwara, Ebun Adelesi, and some Islamic leaders who were vexed by his audacious stance against stealth forms of Islamic extremism that is slowly invading the South West.

“They have been targeting him for a very long time because he is very much outspoken about Isese, he was accused of Insulting an Imam, which there is no concrete evidence that he did,” he said.

The police spokesperson in Kwara, Okasanmi Ajayi, hung up the phone on The Gazette when asked for comments about the police’s role in the matter.

Until recently, Mr Adegbola was an Isese practitioner who ran a Facebook page dubbed “Tani Olorun,” a medium through which he critiqued what he considered the hypocrisy of religious leaders across the divide who constantly talk down on traditional religious practices in the open while secretly patronising herbalist for both body ailments and spiritual issues.

He became more vocal when pockets of Islamic extremists started harassing traditional worshippers in Ilorin in the build-up to the Isese week and annual Osun Osogbo festival, recognised around the world as a period to remember and celebrate the traditional roots and heritage of the Yoruba people.

Osun traditional rulers were confronted as they went about their peaceful worship by fundamentalists who claimed that Ilorin is not a place to celebrate Isese and that the land is fully Islamic.

The attention of the police and state authorities was drawn to this provocative and brazen violation of constitutionally enshrined fundamental rights by several voices, including popular entertainer, Adekunle Adelana, popularly known as Oba Solomoni, but the calls fell on deaf ears even as the Islamic extremists issued open threats to traditional worshippers. Neither the state’s commissioner of police nor other authorities have addressed the crucial issue.

This pattern follows the rot of religious polarisation which continues to plague Nigeria under the ruling All Progressives Congres (APC), which has failed in the last eight years to achieve any form of national cohesion or unity. It is widely accepted that the lopsided appointments made by erstwhile President Muhammadu Buhari contributed significantly to notions of religious supremacy which at some point gave credence to conspiracy theorists who alleged that the former military leader was on a mission to Islamise the country.

Isese adherents and other liberal residents of the southwestern parts of the country who supported them have raised concerns of potential retaliatory actions in their domains in response to the ongoing state-supervised religious oppression and discrimination in Ilorin. Analysts say the region might be drifting towards a dangerous ridge if the tension is not urgently quelled.

President Bola Tinubu, who assumed office on May 29 in the aftermath of a widely controversial election, cannot be said to have resumed the business of governing and uniting the country, despite featuring these issues in his campaign paraphernalia.

Mr Tinubu himself ran on a controversial Muslim-Muslim ticket. His critics interpreted this as an assault on Nigeria’s principle of religious and tribal inclusion, an allegation he strictly denied, saying he was only concerned about finding the most competent person to be his running mate.

PoliticsTinubu’s Certificate: There’s Evidence, BBC Africa Is Wrong - FIJ by NLCreator(op): 4:52pm On Oct 11, 2023
BBC Africa published a report on President Bola Tinubu’s certificate, titled ‘Bola Tinubu diploma: No evidence Nigeria’s president forged college record’, on Wednesday.

FIJ has found inconsistencies in the report from the BBC’s disinformation team.

FIJ had fact-checked Tinubu’s academic profile after the Chicago State University (CSU) released his academic records to Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in early October.

From the documents made available by CSU, FIJ found that the replacement certificate Tinubu presented to the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) did not emanate from the university. FIJ came to this conclusion after it compared replacement certificates issued in the 1990s with the one Tinubu submitted to INEC ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

Tinubu’s certificate had some missing features, including the year ‘1867’ which appeared on every other CSU sample. FIJ also found that a signature on the lower right of the certificate appeared legible in a position that was lower than where the year should have appeared, meaning, the signature should have suffered a similar fate if poor photocopying really cropped the year out.

Of particular interest was the expression, ‘with honors’, which appeared on the certificate Tinubu submitted to INEC. None of the 1990s samples provided by CSU showed those words underneath the course of study, and this suggests that Tinubu’s certificate, which was supposedly obtained within the same timeframe, did not emanate from the school. The BBC, however, highlighted FIJ’s conclusion in its report, claiming it was arrived at in error.

CLAIM: FIJ’s claim that the certificate President Tinubu presented to INEC didn’t emanate from CSU is wrong.

“Another claim, made by a fact-checking organisation in Nigeria, was that the diploma Mr Tinubu submitted was not from CSU as its diplomas do not include the phrase “with honors” under the degree name,” the BBC reported.

“But the BBC found that while this was not reflected in the other diplomas released by CSU, it does appears in Mr Tinubu’s diploma issued in the early 2000s, which was authenticated by Mr Westberg during his deposition.

“It has the words “with honors” – a match with the diploma with the same detail submitted by the president to Inec”.

On this premise, the BBC claimed the certificate Tinubu initially issued to INEC was not forged, and that FIJ was wrong.

VERIFICATION: BBC, CSU and every other certificate disagree

For context, the BBC relied on three different Tinubu certificates for its analysis:

The original one, from 1979, which he has said in the past was lost when he went into exile in the 1990s

The second one, that he submitted to Inec – supposedly a replacement diploma from CSU (it is similar to diplomas issued by CSU in the 1990s)
Additionally, CSU holds another replacement diploma for Mr Tinubu that they say is probably from the early 2000s that he never collected (BBC: Bola Tinubu diploma: No evidence Nigeria’s president forged college record)

From the bulleted points above, it is clear that Tinubu only obtained a replacement certificate from the CSU in the 1990s, and from the samples provided by the CSU in its deposition, certificates issued in the 1990s did not include the expression ‘with honors’. The BBC also clearly states in its report that “any request for a new diploma would resemble the current template at that time, no matter when the student graduated”. This renders BBC’s verification of Tinubu’s 1990s certificate with one issued in the 2000s illogical.

Until the CSU provides another certificate from the 1990s which has ‘with honours’, there are only two reasonable explanations for Tinubu’s certificate. One is that it did not emanate from the CSU. Two, whoever created the controversial certificate in Tinubu’s possession copied the template of the 2000s without paying attention to timeframe variations. This is clear in one of the signatures on Tinubu’s certificate. The signature on the right is that of Zaldwaynaka “Z, the current President of CSU, who took office in 2018. A president who took office in 2018 could not have signed a certificate supposedly released in the 1990s.

More importantly, Westberg admitted in his deposition that the certificate Tinubu submitted to INEC was not from CSU.

CONCLUSION

There’s no proof that the certificate Tinubu presented to INEC emanated from CSU. Whether third-party recreation of certificates is wrong in the US is a topic for another day.

VERDICT: BBC Africa’s claim that FIJ erred in its report is false.

Palestine exposes Western hypocrisy

The Israeli-Gaza war has exposed Western nations for what they are: incurable hypocrites. The same people that support Ukraine in its fight to drive away Russian aggressors and occupiers, fail to see the justification for the long abused, oppressed Palestinians to also stand up and free their land from Israeli occupiers, who treat them as sub-humans. Israel this year before the outbreak of war last Saturday had killed over 200 Palestinians.
Israel keeps defying the UN with impunity as it continues to build more homes in areas that belong to Palestine. The whole world knows before the latest eruption that Gaza is an open air prison for its two million population.
Instead of Western nations to join the reasonable call for peace and justice in the never ending conflict, they have chosen to support Israel. The greatest surprise is Ukraine, which is fighting Russia. It also supports Israel.
The West labels Hamas and Hezbollah as terrorists, the way they labelled ANC, MPLA and other African liberating groups. Dear Western nations, Hamas and Hezbollah are fighting right causes. They are fighting for freedom. They are not terror groups. Listen to them and do justice, instead of backing their oppressors. It's time for the implementation of the 2-state solution to the perennial conflict.

PoliticsChicago State University Says Tinubu Presented Forged Certificate To INEC by NLCreator(op): 4:27pm On Oct 04, 2023
It’s official, Chicago State University says Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu presented forged certificate to INEC

President Bola Tinubu presented a forged degree certificate to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) when he filed his paperwork to lead Nigeria in June 2022, Peoples Gazette can report based on the testimony of the institution he arrogated, introducing a new but potentially fatal front in the ongoing battle to oust the Nigerian leader for his documented misdeeds from years gone by.

The official repudiation of Mr Tinubu’s certificate — the only academic qualification he presented to the electoral office — came at a deposition of school officials on Tuesday in Chicago. An expanded transcript of the session is still being processed, but The Gazette has learnt about what has perhaps been the most crucial expectation of Nigerians: How the school would characterise Mr Tinubu’s certificate under oath and penalty of perjury.

Caleb Westberg, the registrar at Chicago State University, said Mr Tinubu’s certificate, dated June 22, 1979, and tendered to INEC on June 17, 2022, was not issued by the school and its administrators could, therefore, not be able to authenticate its source, The Gazette learnt.

Mr Westberg, CSU’s registrar since November 2020, also said, during the deposition that lasted about 5.5 hours, that Mr Tinubu did not apply for a replacement certificate, nor was he ever issued one.

The categorical statement capped a successful outcome for the monthslong legal strategy of Atiku Abubakar, Mr Tinubu’s main opponent, who approached the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in Chicago to ascertain the authenticity or otherwise of the document. Federal district judge Nancy Maldonado granted a final order for CSU administrators to turn over all documents relating to Mr Tinubu to the school and also sit down for deposition by an adversarial team of lawyers deployed by Mr Abubakar.

Mr Tinubu, sensing the intractable consequences of the proceeding, vigorously fought to thwart its successful outcome, with his lawyers warning the judge in a September 21 hearing that releasing the documents with deposition would inevitably inflict severe, irreparable harm against the Nigerian president.

The school had long insisted that Mr Tinubu was its student, entering in 1977 and graduating in 1979, but its inability to authenticate the certificate the Nigerian president submitted would ripple through Nigeria’s over 200 million population for the foreseeable future.

Previously in 1999, Mr Tinubu had lied under oath when he ran for governor of Lagos, claiming he obtained a degree from the prestigious University of Chicago. However, he managed to escape being held accountable for the breach because he had been elected before it was discovered, and he did not submit a certificate backing his claim, only an affidavit that was later found to be fiction, and the Nigerian Supreme Court said he could not be charged with crimes as a serving governor. He subsequently stopped claiming attendance at the University of Chicago, holding on instead to a claim that he attended Chicago State University, one of Illinois State University campuses traditionally popular among black people.

A spokesman for the president was not immediately available for reaction to the development on Tuesday night. But the president’s allies have suggested publicly that the evidence was inconsequential and propagated the Supreme Court’s readiness to throw it out.

The president’s allies are also banking on the muddled circumstances of the president’s certificate spiel, believing his Nigerian lawyers would be able to convince the Supreme Court to focus more on the school’s position that Mr Tinubu was a student rather than how he came about parading a forged certificate.

On Monday evening, shortly after the school dumped records into the electronic filing portal used by lawyers to all parties, Mr Tinubu’s team circulated a misrepresented account of the documents, successfully misleading some media outlets to run a claim that the school had authenticated Mr Tinubu’s certificate.

They also said a replacement was issued to Mr Tinubu on June 27, 1997, in what seemed to be a reference to the certificate the school had submitted following a 2022 subpoena obtained from a state court by Nigerian lawyer Mike Enahoro-Ebah.

Mr Enahoro-Ebah received the certificate, dated June 27, 1979, alongside all academic records of Mr Tinubu from CSU in August 2022. But the certificate was signed by Elnora Daniel and Niva Lubin, who were not at the school in 1979 and carried June 27, 1979, as its issuance date.

After comparing the certificate he was given by CSU to the certificate Mr Tinubu submitted to INEC, dated June 22, 1979, Mr Enahoro-Ebah promptly returned to Nigeria with the records and filed a criminal complaint against Mr Tinubu for forgery. But the case was stalled in an Abuja court for months before the election and has not been heard even months after the election.

Mr Atiku used the conflicting records to approach the federal court in Chicago for a subpoena as part of his ongoing case against Mr Tinubu in Nigeria, culminating in Tuesday’s deposition that established Mr Tinubu forged his certificate in violation of the Constitution.

Mr Tinubu was narrowly declared the winner of the February 25 presidential election, and he was only sworn in on May 29. But today’s development could all but mark a putative end to his presidency due to the constitutional proscription against the submission of a fake certificate to the electoral office.

Section 137 (1)(j) of the Nigerian Constitution (amended in 2010) specifically stated that no one would be legitimately elected president of Nigeria if the person “has presented a forged certificate to the Independent National Electoral Commission.”

The records obtained from the school, the deposition and other material collected through the U.S. legal system are now being prepared for onward submission to the Nigeria Supreme Court, where a final decision on the presidential election challenge would be made on or before December 6, 2023.

While the evidence may appear overwhelming to a plurality of Nigerians, its acceptance would still need to cross a formidable hurdle at the Supreme Court. This is because the court has conventionally rejected the introduction of new material at the top court level that was not previously argued during the initial trial.

Mr Abubakar himself admitted before two U.S. judges who heard his discovery application that it would be a daunting challenge to convince the Supreme Court to accept the files, yet not entirely improbable.

Mr Abubakar lost at the Court of Appeal, the initial court for presidential election disputes, when a panel of five judges on September 6 said his petition was too weak to overturn Mr Tinubu’s election.

Mr Tinubu’s lawyers, in the U.S., argued against granting Mr Abubakar’s application to extract their client’s records over an admissibility challenge. But Ms Maldonado, nonetheless, said in her September 30 judgement that the records should be released, and any questions about usefulness would be answered by the Nigerian Supreme Court.

Mr Abubakar filed the application to obtain Mr Tinubu’s CSU records and depose its officials on August 2, 2023, coming under Section 1782, the statute that allows the U.S. to turn over records “for use in a proceeding before a foreign tribunal.”

PoliticsTinubu's Corndom Implodes As Olunloyo Makes Damning Revelation by NLCreator(op): 3:17pm On Sep 11, 2023
Chaos in the Kingdom of Agbado (Corn).

As revealed by popular journalist, Olukemi Olunloyo.

Seyi Tinubu is locked in a major fight with his father President Tinubu. They are not even on talking terms. Babanla malice.

Jagaban shouted at him in front of the presidency inner circle saying he won’t let Seyi “destroy his presidency.” BAT wants to run Nigeria his own way. I see nothing wrong in his son’s contribution or suggestion, after all Ivanka and her husband were senior aides to Trump. Hope they end that squabble soon.

I hate the X.com logo.
Please make it stop.

Elon Musk is debranding Twitter. He's
dropping everything that makes it
unique. Twitter is now X, tweets are
'posts" & retweets are "reposts". You
bought this brand for so much money
and you're throwing it away. Why? If you
wanted a generic social media app you
could've made one.

Christianity Etc'I Apologised To TB Joshua Before He Died' - Apostle Suleiman by NLCreator(op): 9:42am On Jun 08, 2023
President of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman has disclosed the reason he attacked the late Prophet TB Joshua.
Suleman, in a video uploaded by his church on YouTube following the second memorial anniversary of Joshua, who died on June 5, 2021, said he attacked the clergyman because of a woman who told lies about several clergymen on Joshua’s pulpit.

Without mentioning the late Joshua by name, he said,
“I personally had an issue with him because some lady came on his altar and was giving testimonies of things I know never happened. They were lies. She spoke against the late Archbishop (Benson Idahosa), Papa (Enoch) Adeboye, Papa Ayo (Oritsejafor).

“I personally overreacted which I wasn’t supposed to do. I got upset and my media had to respond so I came on the altar and attacked the man. I didn’t know there was a video where he condemned the action of that woman. Obviously he was not around the pulpit when the woman was doing that.”

Suleman said he does not follow social media and that he is now more sensitive to the Holy Spirit, adding that the Holy Spirit rebuked him when he criticised Joshua.

“When the man died there was a lot of talk about him being fake. Validation is of God. Leave it alone! Before he (Joshua) died, we made peace. Somebody brokered peace and we spoke and I apologised to him,” he said.

Suleman advised young preachers to emulate the likes of Pastor William Kumuyi and Adeboye who do not condemn people but preach Jesus, adding that any Christian establishment that is of God will stand no matter the persecution.

PoliticsOver 80 Killed In Violent Attacks Nationwide In Tinubu’s First Week In Office by NLCreator(op): 1:22pm On Jun 05, 2023
At least 80 citizens were killed in different violent attacks across the country in the first week of President Bola Tinubu’s newly inaugurated government.

Mr Tinubu was sworn in as Nigeria’s 16th president on May 29 at the Eagles Sqaure Abuja, taking over from former President Muhammadu Buhari.

In his inaugural speech, the president listed security as top priority of his government, assuring Nigerians of a more secured country under his watch.

“Security shall be the top priority of our administration because neither prosperity nor justice can prevail amidst insecurity and violence. To effectively tackle this menace, we shall reform both our security DOCTRINE and its ARCHITECTURE,” Mr Tinubu said.

However, in his first week in office as commander-in-chief of the armed forces, at least 80 citizens were killed.

On June 3, about 25 citizens were brutaly killed and scores injured in Katsina-Ala Local Government Area (LGA) of Benue state.

On the same day in Zamfara, 25 people were killed as bandits raided three villages for their refusal to pay “ransom or protection fees” before they’re allowed to farm.

In Tangaza Local Government Area of Sokoto State, 30 citizens were killed by armed gang, the police said on Sunday.

The continued killing spree under Mr Tinubu’s watch have been condemned by citizens.

Mr Tinubu is yet to officially appoint his spokesperson. So far no comment from Mr Tinubu on the latest killings under his watch.
