I am an Industrial Chemistry graduate and all I want to do is work in a Standard Chemical laboratory.I do per time teachings in two schools and with a good private home lesson all amounting to almost 70k.I was referred to a standard laboratory on the island by a friend last week,i wrote the test, passed,was invited for the second stage yesterday to meet with the MD and it went well.He said he will get back to us.My fear now is that my friend told me from the start that it is a temporary job say 1-2 months with 60-80k pay,with possibility to be retained.My Question:I have passion for lab work but should i take the risk and leave my 70k monthly net pay for a temporary job.What happens if I am not retained at the end of the day.Candid advice needed please as I await a positive call from the coy.
