Let me shock you I cleared a Corolla 2010l ast year with a surface duty 300 and it was meant to be driven to Jos . I slept without blinking that I cleared a car of such , two weeks after another client gave me 2010 corolla and he insisted that I should pay the actual surface duty which was 600k and I did . After I got the assessment I sent to me and he paid it himself . Alas, after clearance of the vehicle from port , the driver was on his way to same Jos to deliver and he did woke me at the middle of the night that customs stopped him that I didn't pay actual duty . I asked him please let me talk to the officer that stopped you and the officer said oga 'agent the way you were able to get the car out of the port you have to do same here. . Well , I told the driver if you have to settle them please do . I did my own part that I followed the instruction of my client and the car was still stop

That is a surface of 600k on Corolla as at last year.

Basically, overzealousness on their part.

I paid a duty of 136Milliion on a consignment they still query . I gave them a good fight and DN was lifted .
