bulk of xpense is in the roofing and the concrete flooring (if you have one)
since u live in Ibadan, labour will be relatively cheap, so you can simply do the calculation.
like this:
you will need about 3-4 couches of blocks
70 -100 blocks / row of couch
3-5 bgs of cmt per couch
1 trip of sand
5-10 bags of cmt for flooring
some granite
6 wooden beams
lots of wood for roofing
4-6 roofing sheets
2x2 wood for nettings
nets and nylons
nails, and sh$t... stuff can really pile up
etc...etc

in my experience, twisted neck is caused by lack of vit E and in most cases, its better to isolate the infected and treat.

i found out that aloe vera was very efficient in treating it esp. in turkeys.
survival rates are small to moderate but i will recommend she changes the feeds being given.

she should also factor in losses as a novice, thats just the nature of the biz.
ppl need to thread lightly when delving into poultry business because its a little more complicated than advertised.
