Have you asked why Atiku did not pick Obi as his running mate in 2023 but instead went for Okowa?

If Atiku emerges as the flag bearer, he is most likely going to reconcile with Amaechi and offer him the VP slot.

Note that Atiku was supposed to appease Wike with the VP slot but instead he chose Okowa.

A grave mistake that cost Atiku to lose after Wike worked to ensure Atiku did not get the traditional votes the PDP were used to from the SS.

The north did not want a scenario that an aging Atiku dies in office and a Peter Obi emerges as President and given all of Obi's open sympathies and support for I.P,O,B this was a scenario the north could not afford to gamble on.
