FORMER Governor of Kwara State, Dr. Bukola Saraki, has been invited for interrogation by the Nigeria Police Special Fraud Unit(SFU), Milverton Road, Ikoyi.

Commissioner of Police in charge of SFU, Mr. Tunde Ogunshakin, in a statement made available to reporters, noted that his command would do all within its powers to bring all the culprits in the scam to book.

In the statement, Ogunshakin stated that the SFU is investigating a controversial waiver of N9,97Billion, representing about 82% of N11.97billion indebtedness granted some companies in February, 2010 by the board of the now defunct Intercontinental Bank Plc under the management of Mahmood Lai Alabi then MD/CEO of the bank.

According to the former EFCC chief investigator, “The companies that jointly incurred this indebtedness were Joy Petroleum Limited, Skyview Properties Ltd, Dicetrade, and Limkers Nigeria Ltd. The debts originated from several loans/facilities worth billions of Naira granted the companies, which were allegedly promoted by Senator (Dr.) Bukola Saraki between 2004 and 2009 when he was the Governor of Kwara State. The billions of Naira loans/facilities were used to purchase shares of blue chip companies and choice landed properties in Lagos and Abuja. Some of the landed properties worth billions of naira used to secure the loans were curiously released after payment of only N2.3Billion out of the N11.97 jointly owed the bank by the companies.”

i came in with my family less than 2 years ago. and we are fine now.
some people will tell you that you cant get job with your BSc. all na lie. it may be hard but you can get.
the major problem is that most people settle for less and get stuck. everybody believe u must go for nursing to make, but there are other better places. .
you just need prayer , and be dedicated and positive.

Johnny: The question is:DID AKINGBOLA STEAL A DIME FROM INTERCONTINENTAL BANK?The answer,obviously is YES!Why was he not prosecuted for that stolen dime?This judgement,to me,is height of evil...

Another question is : Did all the MDs of naija banks 'steal' a Dime from their individual banks? the answer is YES! why selective persecution?

so Nigeria is now so corrupt that SAN's would collect bribe and agreed that there names and family's names be greatly/public disgraced.
i dont think so.
i believe some of us still reason in that way to support the impression that Almighty Sanusi has created in us that Akingbola and co are thieves that "need to be tied and shot"
why cant we wait and follow the trend as things unfold.
why did u think CBN was asking for adjournment/delay at the beginning of the case.
