LATE AMIR AJALA OF LAGOS WAS AN INNOVATOR


Excerpt from Sheikh Al-Muhadith Muhammad Ali Jabata of Nigeria's lecture (May Allah preserve him upon goodness)



Amir Ajala that died recently was an innovator. He used to bow down to greet people and he mingles with every Islamic sects. He made a will before he died that Dhikrulahi Shafi'i of TMC sect and Abdulrahman Ahmad of Ansarudeen sect should perform his funeral rites. If he knew what Sunnah is, would he had said Dhikrulahi Shafi'i should pray upon his corpse? Would Dhikrulahi Shafi'i's Solah even be accepted by Allah?


When they were about to pray upon his corpse, Chief Imam of Lagos came and Dhikrulahi Shafi'i said he should lead the funeral prayers. That was how an unbeliever prayed upon an unbeliever. Chief Imam of Lagos is an unbeliever and they don't hide their disbelief in Lagos, in fact, he came with tesuba (rosary).
