Man_51ut: Unlocked sim as in one of the magic sims they sell? If that's what you mean then yes, it will. Or you can download connectify on your pc and create a hotspot. dimdim001: Spectranet sounds like a good idea with their 6pm-8am unlimited plan, just make sure the download speed isn't total shite where you stay. |

Golden Abyss on the vita is about 3.5gb, but its the largest one I know of. You'll need a good internet dataplan. @ritchboy you forgot FFXIII, 45gb. |

They didn't ask for any credit card details. They might if you choose to auto-renew but they didn't ask me. Maybe cos I did it on my vita. |

Yeah, I bought the $20 for 4k and subscribed for 3 months for $18. Mastercard would have been about 700 naira cheaper but the credit is easier sort of. Anyways i'd recommend the $50 credit for 10k, then subscribe for a year. I don't know if they're running any promos now but a while back there was one where you get 3 months free when you subscribe for a year and another where you get back $10, also when you subscribe for a year. |

No, I bought PSN credit from eazyshoppa.net or something. I'm not sure that's the url so the dude's number 07066000834 or you can search for other sites that sell PSN credit. |

http://www.gamespot.com/news/sony-launching-ps3-firmware-fix-next-week-6410578 Basically, the link says they've identified the problem and they're releasing a fix next week. "PS3 Firmware Update 4.45 was designed to improve system stability, and it did. You can’t get more stable than a bricked console!" — CEO Kaz Hirai (@KazHiraiCEO) |
Gaming / Warning: Do NOT Update Your PS3 To OFW 4.45 Yet by Noctis(m): 3:25pm On Jun 19, 2013 |
A new update just rolled out from Sony for the PS3 which is giving many users their fair share of troubles including bricked consoles. Official firmware 4.45 just got released and according to many user reports its causing bricks and other issues. Users are reporting that after updating the consoles, on boot, it gets stuck to the ribbon screen, and renders useless afterwards. With no word from Sony yet, its in your best interest to wait. While this is not affecting everyone, it is taking a impact on a lot of people. A simple look at the PlayStation forums shows that the problem is wide spread and not isolated or yet resolved. PlayStation Customer service is aware of the issue and are giving inflicted users the cold shoulder and a simple “wait it out” until a solution is found. There isn’t any indications as to what is causing this phenomenon, but from my analysis it seems to be a problem relating to PS3s with upgraded or changed HDDs. But there could be a plethora of other things causing the problems. It’s always best to wait until Sony releases a fix. Its better to be safe than sorry. Stay tuned for updates. Hopefully a hotfix is en route.

I haven't been impressed with Final Fantasy storyline in a while so I don't have particularly high hopes for this one but fingers crossed. |

https://www.nairaland.com/1253659/vita-free-games-library PS: Don't use any site you find on google that promises free vita games. They'll waste your time, infect your pc with viruses and (possibly) take your money. And you still won't get any free games. Subscribe to wololo.net, they have the latest ps vita news. |

8 years in production and still no release date. Originally announced as a late cycle playstation 2 entry, this game entered production in 2005. Moved to the Playstation 3 as part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis saga under the name Final Fantasy Versus XIII. No news again for a few years until E3 2013 when it resurfaced as Final Fantasy XV, a PS4 and XBOX one(hopefully launch) title. And seeing this new gameplay trailer, I think maybe I can forgive Square Enix for taking this long. I don't have the time (or the patience)to try to figure out how to embed youtube videos on nairaland so you can just view this link, or maybe someone else can embed it for me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=60nWEuj2wAI |

Yes well, I'm going to join the "make fun of microsoft" movement while its still cool. And since we're on the subject, Bill Gates named his company after his junk. "Micro" and "Soft". |

I use the swift homeplus plan(8k - 17gig), but that's not how i download my games. I recently bought a sim card from some guy i me on nairaland, mtn unlimited. I've had it for close to a month now and i've used it to download over 50gig of stuff (ps3 games, pc games, some series and my vita games). All you need is an unlocked/mtn modem and a laptop that can create a hotspot so you can share with your vita. I'll maybe post a link to the thread i met the dude on or his number if i can find it. |

Open a PSN account and register your vita to it. There's a link for it on the sony entertainment network page, try sen.com. I'm on my mobile so I can't check all this stuff for you but the links are there. |

LightningLord:Its not repetitive really, every situation with different combinations of enemies requires a different strategy. Magic? Back against the wall? Run like hell? All valid moves. And each enemy type has its own unique mannerisms so the combat is never stale. LightningLord:Only if its dirt cheap, i played it and its not really worth your money. Try Tales of Graces, or maybe Star Ocean. Really old but still solid. |

Yeah. Ninja gaiden is off the list of free games they're offering now but last I checked all these games and a few others were still free for playstation plus members. And the last time I checked was yesterday. |

Since subscribing for Playstation Plus, i've downloaded the following games free of charge. + Uncharted Golden Abyss + Gravity Rush + Jetpack Joyride + Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus + Tekken 6 + Megaman Maverick Hunter X + Disgaea: Absence of Detention + OMG Zombies + WipEout 2048 (currently downloading) All totally free (minus the $18 Playstation Plus 3 month subscription). Several games offer discount to Plus subscribers too. Stop selling your vitas and/or trading them for PSPs, that's just taking a step back. |

Gaming / Re: 100 Ways To Die In Skyrim by Noctis(m): 12:38pm On Apr 07, 2013 |
Played both. Dragon's dogma was average, world map too small, enemies too repetitive and combat not that fun. Dark souls is awesome, but I got stuck at the ornstein and smough fight and I'm deeply ashamed of myself. If you want a good jrpg try ni no kuni, it has stellar reviews. I'm downloading it right now. |
