Oh, I get the harsh reality you're driving at right now. I must confess I witnessed something similar when enquiring from them on the YLP programme.

So, other than LinkedIn, where can one meet MBBs consultants and all? Any target conference or gathering?

Scholar94:
I am trying to tell you that Despite being graduated on top 5% in my class, getting into the firm is not a child play and not for the fainthearted. That I am still looking for an insider to fast track the process for me. You need to know that there are candidates with first class from top foreign universities competing for the few available spots. And mind you these same candidates are also applying with referrals from the firm. So my point is even with top grade (first class/second class upper(4+)), one is not still guarantee an automatic invitation for PST. Most Especially during this difficult time when most firms are putting their recruitment process hold.

SCAM ALERT!

This your claim has nothing to do with uniswap as their airdrop was done once.
The main airdrop was for all uniswap users before september 1(both version 1 & 2).

So, you sir are a scammer!!

You are trying to get to the PST stage too? So, you don't meet the 'official' minimum requirement? Issit poor grades too? Or am I missing something?

Scholar94:
You know that bolded part really crack me up a little grin. That you called "just" is pretty an hardwork. I am looking for a referrer myself so as to make the process faster and get invited for pst (as I have a lot of confidence of acing it). But then consultants in MBB are highly cautious of who they refer and so hardly refer a candidate without knowing one ability so well. So our sure belt now is to rely on our academic background, skills set/experience, persistent with networking (with the hope that the hustle will pay off one day) and prayer/patience cheesy

I didn't have the best undergrad days. My academic performance was greatly affected by some serious personal/family problems.
I might be able to explain this further to them, but since I just sent my application few days ago, I barely know how to go about it. Guess I am just asking for a chance to get past the cv screening stage and get invited to the PST... Looking for a helpful network, recommendation or suggestion at least.

Scholar94:
I'm not yet in McKinsey but I think with the little research and experiences I have had with them, I can confidently tell you that your chance of passing through the CV screening stage with a second class lower in undergraduate degree, and working with them right after college is nearly impossible. Except otherwise you have a solid explanation and can largely substantiate it with a lot of reasons why you have had a 2'2. A reason like you worked and studied full time simultaneosly while in college??

See the firm value an excellent academic background couple with a strong leadership experience. So I'll advise you work towards breaking into the firm as an experience hire..

Hello Marxxx, trust you are doing good!

I am a fresh graduate just about to complete my service year. I have been very passionate about working for a consulting firm (Mckinsey most hopefully) right out of school.
My only hindrance at the moment is that i graduated with a 2'2. While I understand that I can join as an experienced hire some 2-3 years to come, I really really need to join straight out of school.
Please how can I go about getting an invite despite graduating with a 2'2? I really believe I will ace the PST exams and I'm only hoping to get invited for the test as I believe I will take it up from there!
Any help please?
