mrphysics:It is the responsibility of the FIRS to collect VAT and not state boards. Though Southern governors are currently contesting this. |
perambulator:Not true. I am a vendor. To be competitive, I bear the VAT burden and I have no obligation to disclose it on the invoice. But monthly, I prepare the VAT schedule and forward same to the authority. And please note, I'm based in Abuja |
Trimjos:A vendor has 2 options as regards collection and remitting VAT. Option 1: The vendor may choose shift the VAT burden to the customer. In this case the customer pays for VAT and it is disclosed on the customer's invoice. Option 2: The Vendor bears the VAT burden. In this case, the VAT amount need not appear on the invoice. |
Timioguntuyaki:Your wife's passport should be ready for collection (in case you are yet to collect). Just go to VFS office. Had a similar case mid year. |
I submitted a visiting application for my wife and it got approved on November 21. She submitted her passport as requested at the VFS global office on November 22. Your wife's passport should be ready for collection (in case you are yet to collect). Just go to VFS office. Had a similar case mid year. |
JustMellow:Thank you very much. I will try this option. I'm grateful |
Please, who can help? My 15 year old son got admission to continue high school in Canada. This means he will require a study permit. But I desire to take him there to ensure all is okay, and then return back to Nigeria.. I do not intend to stay for more than 10 days in Canada. (1) I know I will require a visitors visa but do I indicate "Tourism?" (2) Who will be the main applicant, since the true reason of visiting Canada is my son's study.? Pls help? |
