Am sorry but your excuse is not good enough We have neighbouring countries, smaller than us that have at least 24/7 light or at the very least all have meters , your credit runs out..you buy and reload gbam! nothing like no light and even they themselves have had that same electrical infrastructure since 1900's Now if you say Siemens is on the matter even with alternative solutions, no wahala but how hard is it to inform Siemens that you want a Power situation exactly or something similar to what they have in their home nation of Germany. There's money in Nigeria but because of the innate corruption that keeps striving, we let a lot of loose ends slide without checking.. Anyways it's not entirely your fault, majority of Nigerians are just naturally corrupt, if not I don't see how a sane human being after experiencing the past Buhari APC years will still go to the voting booth and pick APC again...lol like honestly it's one of the dumbest sh!t have ever seen..and to cap it up lol even the present Government said the previous Government let a lot of things in disarray which they wanna fix...like LMAO, just a fucking confirmation of why they shouldn't even be there in the first place.. Oga if you can't give us the best, then just shut it..the biggest black Nation in the world still living in perpetual darkness... I swear if you put just 100 competent white people for 8 years in critical Power sector, you will see the apparent change..and you know it after all you always run to their country...and you over here capping we shouldn't expect magic..like seriously lol... anyways na the retards you dey tell that one sha ..so good to tell em.. |
And Oshiomhole grand son too will become part of Edo State Government in the future...the cycle goes on.. There are way more qualified individuals but of course it's not him I blame it's the people who keep voting based on stomach infrastructure, religious and ethnicity affiliation...as if that has ever elevated their situation, their community or state as a whole.. |
Is that even possible ? Like you weren't paid for like a year and you still went to work, classes, marked scripts and attended meetings? Like how? Wow corruption will really be hard to eradicate in this Nation.. How can you not get paid for up to a year and still have mind not to strike or stop teaching, what nonsense! |
TaKe back the arable lands and LGs controlled by Terrorist first, then I can believe you. |
It's a very stupid rule banning Tint And even if this rule is enforced, the rate of kidnapping will still not reduce, our security operatives are not proactive at all, can you not register all commercial drivers and inform the public to only use the registered ones.. This is just a lazy way of policing and funny enough this rule will only apply to the common man, FCT is full of civil servants and while some use government car that comes with Tint, some that are not in service anymore and the affiliates will still use tint as they are already used to it .. It's just a lazy law simple ..na mostly people wey no get car go mostly support am, them no go understand .. |
Very good marketing strategy at this Yuletide season, they will definitely get more patronage. Although the news comes late cos most ppl have already booked in November because of the normal increase in price at Xmas nonetheless I will share this news around. |
Jorussia:The payments were very late.. |
Let those motherfcukers drop! However our real problem is the NFF, we need a permanent coach.. Once that's solved we need more playmakers in this team, and if there's a dearth of it...we maximise Iwobi, Alhassan Yusuf and Onyedika...cos those guys are the best we have in a playmaker role...but Obviously Iwobi is heads above all...in fact Iwobi from now on should always start every game regardless of whether it's a dead rubber game .. |
Prayers isn't going to solve sh:t They better hold whoever is responsible by the balls, either through legal or whatever practical means.. |

Since it's a peaceful March, let them ride on. Although It is seems absurd that a whole Labour Union Leader will dabble in Terrorism! Just doesn't make any sense.. And anytime the NPF/DSS wan make your matter strong... they will always include their go to Card "Financing Terrorism"?! Like so cliché.. This Nigerialism we are practicing is just not right, it seems it's even better to be a bad person than to be someone that even tries to do good.. |
I don't believe this content! |
emkz:Yes I saw your pasted links however this media is just one day event at channels on 8 Jan 2023. At previous media briefs , he had said he will phase it out completely, note the word PHASE.. Look am not here to defend this man he said he will immediately? No problem! But can we both agree that PBAT didn't take his time well even during his electioneering to actually sit down with consultants and draw up possible scenarios and aftereffects that may occur if removed immediately... because if he did he wouldn't have to start MONTHS later start coming up with various scatter gun approach to mitigate the aftereffects... Look lets just agree to disagree that PBAT erred majorly on this front...our hope is that he will still get things right but so far his body language isn't saying so...let's call a Spade a spade , so that people up top can consistently sit up and continue looking for ways to move this nation foward..let's stop gaslighting them with hope, patience and whatever sentiments that might suit our taste! As for communication! My man ...you see eh that word COMMUNICATION is very powerful...do you know how much stress PBAT will save himself by just coming out on TV and addressing issues daily or at the very least be transparent about issues ... We all know that we're still paying fuel subsidy...so why as recent as the August protest PBAT live broadcast, he still had to say we won't go back to it!!! LMAO! Like how many ppl does he think he fooling? Definitely not me and am sure not you! |
Am not impressed But then again looking at NFF antecedents, I understand that they don't really have that financial clout to pull in the best or well known tacticians I wish this man the best but it still has to be said that despite all the brouhaha, sacking or not renewing Peseiro contract was a colossal mistake...now we are carrying our calculators again to determine if we will go to the North American WC , pathetic! Our leaders at the NFF brass just never ever learn |
Nothing bad but still I believe we have brighter indigenous progressive minds that can serve this role better I guess AG is just there in case the ship is sinking, then he will jump in as he always do on an interim basis |
emkz:You do not need to throw shots at Peter Obi for your point to make sense.. it just shows your ill will towards PO is biased...PO said he will remove yes! Did he say he will do that without putting machineries on ground before removal, and besides he said he will remove it in phases..no where did he say on the first day he will remove it!!! please this guys are all politicians...don't support any of them blindly because of whatever sentiments.. Your statement is valid on a lot of reasoning no doubt, but despite your indirect presidential appraisal, you forgot to also indict him for his lack of forthwith communication and transparency on certain sensitive issues, like the removal of fuel subsidy .. if this is how PBAT wants to run Nigeria, then am sorry it doesn't bode well for me and you and our children's future.. |
She seems to be apologising after she has already been awarded a financial payment.. Either ways didn't she do a background check on her opponent before entering the ring with her ...dramatizing as if she got hit by a cement block , quitting just under a minute and crying was very poor sportsmanship...the refusal of the handshake was just the height of it all... |
All PBAT needs to do is to come live on NTA or on any visual media and not only calm down the agitations but also state actions that will be put in place to remedy some of the agitations.. This his high-handedness in not actually coming out even before the Aug 1st to address the nation is so poor and speaks very bad of him as a leader..and even till today Aug 3rd no word from him and we have about 17 people already dead. Is PBAT waiting for 100 people to die before he actually comes out to talk ..this is bad leadership from him, I expected better but am not surprised coming from someone that bribed his way to the seat, he has no moral compass after all he has gotten what he wants..but let's Watch and see.. |
I like the fact that you even took your time to at least constructively engage each of the major points with your perspectives.. But to be frankly honest with you all these points can actually be actualised before the month of December..the major problem about us is Leadership and most of us are so used to bad or poor quality of life that we see it as a norm.. My brother, first and foremost If that constitution is to be amended to be more people centric..it will involve all stakeholders including the public to rein in their points, while that is going on the president will still be on seat and even when it's being passed into Law ... common sense will actually be that PBAT should at the very least finish his current tenure... So please my brother all these points are actually doable, don't look at it as a complicated process, Na just ppl wey dey top go make am look Complicated...how many days did it take to actualise the passing of New Anthem or millions for Public Servants Cars...but when it came to just passing a people centric motion like Minimum Wage, despite the early awareness of its expiry in 2023...it took months and protest and the President to step in before it was finally signed ..can you imagine Can you now see this is just a Leadership thing bro, nothing else! |
I has taken me about 4.5M ( and still counting) to build my 1 Bed... something I budgeted just 2M in January 2023 before Fuel subsidy .. The impact Fuel Subsidy Removal has can not be accurately measured, it has exacerbated every aspects of our socioeconomic lifestyle... Don't even let me get into the details of how many times I use my car.. |
An honourable act authenticated timelessly.. |
Funny enough if Matawalle contest to be the president or picked as vice or picked as Senate President...he will get it unabated.. That's the devil that keeps eating at this country.. poor leadership... From every facet of the government all the way to the lowest civil servants.. |
His outburst was understandable until he involved the words of using a proscribed terrorist group in Nigeria... That was his FC!kup.. A lot of people have said worse and done worse and still walk about freely in our public space.. He should constructively engage the LASG and let them know about his true intentions when making that speech.. I do believe his emotions got the best of him but if truly he does have confirmed ties to IPOB, then his reprimand should stand.. |
Chinasa is an unfortunate fellow for doing that but he wasn't the only one throwing molotov cocktails at the buses, there were plenty of them at that station.. But since Nigeria is a Tribalistic Nation, certain media outlets just had to make sure an Ethnic tribe was singled out.. richie240: |
You really didn't need to say it out loud. I believe it's common sense for the Igboid stock to stay clear of this.. Out of all the miscreants that were caught and jailed during the End SARS mayhem in Lagos, only a certain Chinasa was handpicked and coloured around all the national media making it look like it was an Igbo sponsored act. |
There's no Karma there, she self wants you to do her, so don't be näive and be a man.. Now I am not saying you have to have sex with her but go with the flow , if it happens, nothing spoils, if it doesn't, nothing spoil... |
But she killed it! Her performance was outstanding.. |
I believe we do have some alternate back up plans for eventualities like this.. decrease of light in areas ,Yes..but blackouts? C'mon mehn.. Anyways if there are blackouts, it won't totally surprise me after all our Government is more reactive than proactive.. |
It's highly disgusting and disrespectful that since April when this Min Wage expired, it will take at least July - August ending for this bill to be passed or for the money to start being paid, highly distasteful! And yet it still confirms the recurring fact that the Government cares less about the masses. Passage of New National Anthem took about 7 days, Min Wage restructuring almost 3 months despite its early awareness Since October Last year when Labour went on strike and listed a host of things that was needed to ameliorate the economic hardship, one of the issues raised was that the Min Wage ending in April of next year should be in accordance with what will satisfy an individual to at least be able to take care of themselves without unnecessary borrowing (Living Wage) Since last year till now the Gorv or whichever parastatal in charge of Min Wage enumeration made no plans until Early Feb that Pres. Tinubu constituted a committee that asked for at least a Billion Naira for a sitting!?..it's now in July they are actually pressed into sending smth to senate...so in other words if Labor didn't strike...we will still be here in Mid June talking bout an expired wage that's still being paid.. Do we know the amount of people that have died, made homeless, committed suicide directly or indirectly just because of this lack of empathy by the FG It's ridiculous that this Gorv has no foresight or is just a reaction Gorv, no proactiveness at all..and this lack of foresight is what has been dragging us back and is still hindering us in so many developmental indices of this heterogenous society. Ah sigh! |
It's unfortunate that we aren't taking news like this serious.. This monster keeps growing daily in our backyard and its the locale that are actually bearing the brunt.. Where's the DSS to infiltrate this group or caution them viciously?...they are busy warning unforseen individuals not to be violent, Truly it now makes sense to me that most of these Bandits, Boko, UGM are all silent government agents So sad.. |
Akwamkpuruamu:For example Luton vs Man City, Real Madrid vs Almeria..you get my drift... obviously a heavyweight against a perceived lightweight, yes the odds might be small but still chances are high you will win FREE MONEY!!! No matter how small Free money is, it's still better than no money. It's this certain lust for more free money that lets individuals lose most of their own money, lol the irony |
The chances are never in your odds but greed is what is really fuelling people to continue...you have just ₦100, you want to win ₦500K! Is it not even better to just bet on two sure games, you know you have a high chance of winning and relax with the free money gained? Or And then use the free money gained to bet again albeit little amount on another very sure game not games? Anyways this isn't my line of gambling, I rather play Texas hold em Poker, where I know at least I have more control over my odds.. |

Can you now see this is just a Leadership thing bro, nothing else!
