2016 BATCH 'A' MOBILIZATION: FRAUD ALERT
The attention of the NYSC Management has been drawn to the activities of some hackers sending messages requesting prospective Corps members to go and check their states of deployment online.
They refer their victims to a link and ask them to enter their login details as well as choices made during their online registration.
Management wishes to inform prospective Corps members that posting to states of deployment has not commenced; but will be done at the appropriate time in line with our laid down processes.
The so-called “link” being sent to prospective Corps members is handiwork of cyber criminals and should, therefore, be disregarded.
Prospective Corps members are particularly warned not to make payments for posting or change of posting as that is clearly the motive of the cyber criminals.
Management will inform prospective Corps members as soon as their posting letters are ready for printing online or delivery to their various institutions of graduation.
While assuring the public that the situation is fully under control, we shall continue to take measures to safeguard the integrity of the Mobilization process.
Signed:
Management

A cross section of unizik students who were involved in the fatal motor accident that occurred inside the university campus at the early hours of yesterday involving 2 shuttle buses and a private car...
Please my dear friends I enjoin you all to pray for the quick recovery of this students as our exams are just few weeks away from now

On That same Day. UNIZIK Awka VC Unizik (on suit)paid a visit to the University Medical Centre to commiserate with recuperating students whose campus shuttle buses were involved in an accident inside the University. VC Prof. Ahaneku expressed his dismay over speeding within the university roads and warned motorists to always obey the university speed limit of 40 km/hr. He directed that extra bumps should be build immediately as one of the measures to curtail over speeding. He thanked the University doctors for responding timeously to the emergency. He also assured the recuperating students that the University will take adequate care of them including their medical bills. Sensitive and hardworking VC , see Photos below.

Senator Ben Murray-Bruce who represents Bayelsa East senatorial district at the National Assembly on Tuesday gave his support to local manufacturers based in Aba, Abia state by promising them free outlets at his Silverbird Complex.

The senator also spared some time on his Twitter timeline to urge Nigerians to patronise locally manufactured products in order to reduce imports and thereby strengthen the Nigerian currency.

The Silverbird Chairman made the promise following discussions with his colleague, Senator Eyinnaya Abaribe, who annually facilitates the ‘Made in Aba’ trade exhibition in Abuja.

Mr Sam Hart, one of the aides of Abia state governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, who has been sharing updates from the exhibition in Abuja, disclosed Senator Murray-Bruce’s magnanimous offer on his Twitter page.
