She is in Nigeria. What that naira can buy in Nigeria, 4000 dollars can't buy the same things in US. You claim to have left, enjoy your dollars as we are enjoying our naira.
The car 4,000 USD will buy, the total Naira in the video cannot buy it.

With the way things are in the Nigeria now, the best gift you can give to your children is to take them out of Nigeria.

Your leaders and politicians are already doing moving their children abroad. There is no hope for you and your progeny if you aren't connected to the powers that be.

Nigeria is in a deep mess right now, and with the return of suicide bombing, no one knows what becomes of the country.

Going abroad now should be to take your children to safe haven. Millions are doing that right now.

You see, your hatred for Igbos will also be your undoing and it will happen very soon. No one is asking other ethnic groups to join Igbos in Biafra. They are free to remain in Nigeria or seek a separate union for themselves. Those we include in Biafra is because we feel we have a historical connection with them. If they don't care about the connection or totally reject it, it will still be to our advantage in the long run.
Let me just compare the antecedents of Igbos and Fulanis in Nigeria for others to read and draw their conclusions.
1. Igbos are indigenous to the Nigerian territory and as a matter of fact appears to possess the oldest settlements. We've lived cordially with all the various minority ethnic groups around us and have heavily intermarried with them. The fulanis on the other hand aren't indigenous to the Nigerian territory and have never lived cordially with all other ethnic groups ever since they entered Nigeria. There's nothing called Fulani land in Nigeria yet they have kings all over because they kill off the indigenous kings and ascend the thrones of those people who welcomed them. The Hausas, Nupes, Adamawas, Yorubas of Ilorin, Tarabas, Gombe etc all have fulani kings after their own kings were killed and replaced by fulanis.

2. Though fighting may occur between two ethnic groups, the Igbos didn't enslave or sell the minorities around them. Igbos still lived with all of them after border clashes and continue to do business with them as equals. Many ethnic groups found refuge in Igboland back in the days when their enemies are in pursuit of them. On the otherhand, the fulanis enslaved and sold a lot of those minority ethnic groups. They used to raid them specifically for selling them either to the Arabs in North Africa or towards the Atlantic Sea to other slave traders. Fulanis depopulated the middlebelt of Nigeria through raiding and enslavement. There are books that explain this very well. Even Yoruba settlements in Kwara, Osun and Kogi fell victim of the fulani raids and slave traders. Many Yorubas that were sold off as slaves in the transatlantic slave trade were victims of Fulani enslavement. Bishop Ajayi Crowther was one of their victims.
Which ethnic group in Nigeria today can say they were once enslaved and sold off by Igbos at anytime in history? Not even one.

3. Igbos have been an enterprising people right from centuries ago and we transversed the lands of all the minorities around us catering for their various needs which includes food, medicine, religious and spiritual solutions to problems, metallic items for traditional and religious uses, cloths etc. We equally bought from them items they produced which helped their economies. What about the Fulanis? How have they related with other ethnicities that welcomed them? Do you know the Kanuris chased them away from Kanuri territory back in the days? They Kanuris saw through them and learnt quickly what had happened to the Hausa and therefore, chased them away. It was thereafter that the fulanis attacked the Adamawa territory killing, raping and enslaving the smaller ethnic groups living there. They thereafter took the lands from the indigenous people. Whatever you see they are doing today has been what they were doing back in the days... nothing has changed.

Tranquil, are these the people you want to compare to Igbos? Are these the people that are better than Igbos? Let readers judge for themselves.
Like I wrote before, any ethnic group who was included in Biafra but doesn't want it is free to opt out.
Meanwhile, the fulanis will continue to kill them and take over there lands. Life goes on.
This is a wonderful piece. Please permit me to reproduce this elsewhere.

Some of you may be right if you believe the reason you cannot do well in Nigeria is because you are a second class citizen.

As a second class, even not a member of privileged class, you will miss your village when you realize you belong to the LAST class.

I agree that money and food means a lot. But how good is that money and food you cannot enjoy? If you think looking down on you despite your classy house and cars is fun, ask yourself how sweet it is as an African that brags because your children, families and friends, at least give you respect as a man in Africa

Compared to a place where they look down on you despite your clean hardwork for your success. Even when you become the head of the dog catcher with all your degrees, watch your back constantly because many cannot wait to replace you with less qualifications. Wondering how you got the leadership position in the first place.

No need to talk about lost children, wife and dear culture you would come to appreciate in Africa when it is too late. I pity those who japa after age 30 more.

Even untouchables have more pride in Africa with success. But desperation in Africa, turns hell into paradise abroad. Goodluck!
People like you are blind. Just travel and change your mindset forever.

The Racism abroad is 1000% better than the tribalism I Nigeria.

Life expectancy in most advanced countries is between 75 to 90 years.

Nigeria is about 45 years. There are 0ne million ways to die in Nigeria and no one cares.

Even the police that are paid to protect you can kill you at any time.

I'm sure you have heard the latest trending story of Mr Andrew.

I made a post here on Nairaland that a pick packer in Australia lives a better life than the manager of any commercial bank in Nigeria.

One guy insulted me and called me names.

One week later, the manager of a commercial bank in Nigeria was kidnapped and killed after paying ransom.

The fool that called me names ran away in shame.

If you have the means to leave Nigeria legally please do. Ensure that you're healthy enough to work.

You forget your ID due to an oversight on your part and want to make your wife bear the brunt with you?

You have pull him down syndrome!

You knew the distance was far and the requirements, yet forgot your ID. That's irresponsibility on your part. Don't put that on your wife.

Oga, carry your cross. Pay for your sins. Let them enjoy the party. You wait in the car park or do whatever.
I hope your position would be the same if it was the woman that forgot her ID and the husband with the children go to the party venue while the wife wait at the car park.

No school in Austrslia is affordable.

Today 1 Aud is 980 naira.

You must have at least 16k Aud for your one semester fees. This is circa 15,680,000 naira.

This is just school fees ooo. Insurance, flight ticket living expenses, etc put down another 10k Aud which is about 9,800,000 naira.

You recently realised that the man who helped your wife settle in very fast when she arrived Germany about 2.5years ago had affair with your woman.

This same man helped you in getting a job after you joined your wife in the country.

The man does business of sending containers if used items for sale back home and your wife buys items too and put in the man's container.

You recently realised that while you were in Ghana ( before you finally joined your wife), your wife sometimes sleeps in the man's bed with the man.

Your wife has vowed to you that their was no sex between them. The romanced and the said man stopped at fingerings her.

What would you do knowing this man gas helped you at a time?

This is a story curled from Facebook.

- what type of party is it?
- if its a children party then why cant the father wait outiside?
- cant they drive back home to get daddy's ID?
- if they live far away, cant they just all go back home and forget about this party (or is the party "that" important to attend)?
This party was a birthday party held at night in an hotel.

Yes, the distance is far. They cannot go back home to get the man's ID.

My position is, the wife (who knows the celebrant) should have explained the situation to the celebrant that she and her husband cannot be in the party while her husband waits the car park. Thereafter, they can all go home.
That is for a woman that loves the husband.

A man, his wife and two children were invited to a party.
The only form of admission into the party is ID cards.
Children are permitted to go in without any form of ID provided they came with their parent(s).

Unfortunately, the man forgot his ID and was not allowed into the party.

Is it right for the wife to go into the party arena with the children while the husband waits at the car park?

If no, what do you think should happen?
