Got married, lost my high paying job same month. Wife felt really bad, believed she should be a blessing, not come into a home and them trouble comes. I was strong, I don't believe in such, I always believe "na who give up loose. Few months later, started freelancing and started earning regularly, I then switch to YouTube, built the first channel and then the second channel, the earnings where really high, I stopped freelancing and faced YouTube, felt so nice earning good foreign money steadily, life became really great. One year after, woke up to my first channel taken down, appealed and it was rejected. Two days later, the second channel was taken down for circumvention, almost went crazy. I was back to zero in term of earning. But as much as I felt bad, na who give up loose. Started my own business, tech related, registered as a white label for a bigger tech service company. God being great, things are great again. I tried to summarize everything, but in everything, I can tell you, just trust God and never give up. It will be as though everything is over, but one day, you will look back and thank God for where you are now. |
psalmsjob:I just read your earlier post, and I must say, you have said it all. They fear technology will take their jobs. Truth is when I think about Nigeria, I don't even know where the repairs can start from. Too many things are just messed up already. |
I am yet to finish reading all you said, but I can assure you, it's not the tech bros, it's the system, the system has 99.9% oldies who are not ready to ditch the old and embrace the new. And it has affected all aspect of our lives. People now believe suffering is the only way to success while countries developing rapidly believe what matters most is getting the needed result. I am a tech entrepreneur and worker as well. I hate to work with Nigerian companies. International organizations have for example embraced working remotely, but the Nigerian company that isn't even half as successful as the ones abroad will insist on coming to work in the office daily. We just believe before anyone earns, he must sweat. Think about all Nigerian Parastatals, non of their websites work well, even those who have sites, it looks so obsolete, do you think we don't have awesome website designers and developers ? The system is just broken, they have chosen to embrace the obsolete way so that they can keep using it to manipulate the system to their favor. And unfortunately even the older citizens have braced this mindset, so it now affects every aspect of life. The youths in this country are really trying. But sadly they have to work twice or thrice as hard as their counterparts abroad just to succeed. |
Not it's not, don't try it, it will stress you if you just recently learnt how to drive. You will change your clutch many times. Why go through that stress when you can ride easily with Automatic. But if you are a pro rider and you are buying a very smooth manual car and like to go racing on Abuja streets at night, manual is good to go. |
Russia and China may not have a democratic government. But this two countries are definitely better than the USA that claims fake democracy but will always demand 10 times of whatever they gift you. |
This is indeed beautiful. More of this from other Governors |
