cnssl:HMMM. late night CRY. what did you do with the thread below ? https://www.nairaland.com/2332441/massive-unemployment-looms-mtn-nigeria#34020974 did you take actions as expected of you ? That was the right time to cry my bro!. Now it's late . Coward people |
bovi101:You are JUST ONE of the few intellectuals seeing and saying things the way they are. #MTNSLAVERY #ISONSLAVERY |
I am not taking side with CNSSL and WILL NEVER. But things have to be said the way they are without allowing our sentiments to overrule the truth in us. I like people that hit the nails on the head. @abiolaj, let us re-examine some of your posts : 1. You said Mayfair CCR are the only ones without staff line. This is a bias statement !. And if you disagree, Please give an example of a CNSSL call center location that has been given staff lines .. 2. "Past festive seasons, it was reported to have been said that MTN gave out a BAG of Rice.....". WHY NOT BASE YOUR ARGUMENT ON A PROVEN FACT . The clause "it was reported to have been said that..." sound to me like a rumor. 3. "the image of MTN Nigeria is the one that is being tarnished...". WHAT IMAGE AGAIN ?. MTN is a company that wants to cut cost by all means no matter the effect on Nigerian youths !. This made them give the deal to ISON, a company with a proven history of poor working condition. That way, MTN can clear her name and put the blame on ISON. As for ISON, the code of conducts are " to hell with ANYBODY as long as the job is done ", "leave the job and watch many others take it...afterall there is no job in the country". To me, MTN has got the image tarnished since few years ago when they started compromising standards in exchange for cost. 4. "We have been too quiet for too long,...." IT'S TOO LATE TO MAKE THIS STATEMENT. I laugh in Yoruba !!!. Where were you in july when we were doin a clarion call for all CCR to save their jobs by standing against MTN taking the contract away to an indian company with a proven record of poor working conditions. hahahahahahahahahha, if you think your current job is bad, try another. Thus, if you think CNSSL's working condition is poor, TRY ISON and your life will never remain the same again. NO MAT. LEAVE, REDUCED PAY, LONGER WORKING HOURS, NO SICK LEAVE ETC. those are the proven CHARACTERISTICS OF ISON BPO. Hmmm , E maa gba !. THIS IS JUST AN HONEST REPLY, NO BAD FEELINGS BROTHER !. It's hightime our government did something about foreigners coming to Nigeria to implement their country's style of employment on us. Please come to Airtel call center here in Ibadan before you blame your employer CNSSL . WE have shouted, twitted, fbed, etc but nobody came to our rescue in Airtel Ibadan. Perhaps we are a minority group. The real enemy is ISON (for their lowest cost approach, even when Naija youths are dying) and MTN N (for wanting to cut cost by all means). T>H>I>N>K abiolaj: |
I just hope one day, Nigerian will start saying things the way they are. I am sure you guys were paid for these posts. let's me ask you few questions : 1. What is the working condition of the current Nigerian graduates employed by ISON for airtel in Ibadan ? 2. How well does the "airtel's" working condition marches with the current ones introduced when ISON came on board in MTNN ? 3. MTN collected the contract from CNSSL and gave to ISON, do you still blame CNSSL for the poor working conditions introduced at the era of ISON ?. 4. Do you think MTNN Management is not aware of the current working conditions newly introduced ?. And if they are, why are they not reacting ? 5. Lastly, sometimes around JULY this year when a campaign to save your jobs was all over the media (internet, newspapers, sms, twitter, facebook, etc), how many of you stood up for the call ?. I will want honest answers, then we can begin the analysis. perhaps someone is truing to play games here |
BE PREPARED FOR MASS ACTION!!! BE PREPARED TO GO ON THE STREETS!!! BE PREPARED FOR MASS PROTEST AGAINST MTN NIGERIA IF THEY WILL NOT STOP THIS ARRANGMENT. To ALL CCR, Apapa, Ikoyi, VGC, Mayfair, Ilorin, Kaduna, Kano and other locations. MTN Nigeria CEO has confirmed our the sacking of all of us. MTN Management has met with select Group of supervisors. CCR Management and Vendors have met with Team Leads. 1st Aug. has been confirmed as transition date. All Lagos Call Centres will be closed. We will be out of Job within 3 months. This is the reality. Our destiny now in our own hands. Be ready for Mass action to stop this process. We say NO !!! CCR Unite They plan to terminate of CCR agents by 1st August. The New provider is ISON they will offer us N 35,000 Naira only. They have no plans for those of us working with the current providers. They have agreed with MTN Group that our salaries are too high for them to pay. They will sack all of us within three months from 1st August. This is real !! MTN Nigeria has said we are contract staff (both independent contractors and vendor-based contractors) and NO Severance will be paid to anyone. We will be out of Jobs and we will have no money after the last salary in July. Why is MTN South Africa suddenly excluded from this arrangement and Nigeria Not. MTN is making the most revenue and profit from Nigeria. The least they can do is to keep us in employment. Nigerians must rise to defend us! We must Stop MTN from this arrangement. 4500 jobs of young Nigerians on the line. Say No to Xenophobia Say NO to Outsourcing to foreigners Say NO to MTN. CCR unit Please send to all NIGERIANS!! Please send to all Bloggers !! BE PREPARED FOR MASS ACTION!!! BE PREPARED TO GO ON THE STREETS!!! BE PREPARED FOR MASS PROTEST AGAINST MTN NIGERIA IF THEY WILL NOT STOP THIS ARRANGMENT. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I once opened a thread for this at : https://www.nairaland.com/2332441/massive-unemployment-looms-mtn-nigeria#34020974 But I dont know Why the Admin closed the thread, I hope this is NOT a naija thing ? |

This concerns all MTN Nigeria staff NOT CNSSL alone. I understand if you are one of CNSSL jos victims but there are more to that issue than most of us know.......... This 4500 staff are NOT the ones in Jos. So please use fact and figures BUT NOT emotions....... One love Unseen: |
WHO WILL SAVE THESE INNOCENT NIGERIANS FROM THE HANDS OF THE CABALS ? ARE THERE HUMAN RIGHTS ? |
To All NIGERIANS MTN TAKES JOB AWAY FROM A NIGERIAN COMPANY (WITH MORE THAN 4,500 Nigerians) , AND GIVE TO A SOUTH AFRICAN/INDIAN COMPANY WHO WILL OPERATE FROM ABROAD THEREBY THROWING OUT THE 4,500 NIGERIAN STAFF BACK TO THE STREET. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- According to MTN statement …. "Although our call centres are currently outsourced to CNSSL and MacTay respectively, a new outsourcing contract has been signed with a new organization known as ISON BPO Limited “- This is an Indian/South African Company. We have it on good authority that the new provider will not engage any NIGERIAN: they have told them that our salaries are too much for them to pay. In case you don’t know: MTN is making the highest revenues from its Nigeria Operations and Nigeria is the most profitable operations according to MTN Group Report to date. They have no reasons to treat us like they are doing. The current providers have been referred to as ‘previous providers” in a Facebook message yesterday by MTN. Meaning our Jobs are already in the past. The Company that has been contracted to take from the Nigerian company is ISON BPO. We now know who they are. They are an Indian/South African owned Company. They run a call center for zain in Ibadan whereby staff are being paid an average of 37,000 Naira. They will operate from South Africa and India. Some calls will be routed to call centres outside Nigeria. Some calls will be routed to new centers they are now hurrying to set up in other Countries. They will not engage any of us, they said our Salaries and allowances are too high. We will all loose our jobs. Meetings are been held on the termination of our appointments. MTN Nigeria Management is ready to send us home as directed by the Group. Xenophobia action against Nigeria: Call Centre agents in MTN South Africa are excluded, because of their black empowerment. MTN Benin Republic was excluded because the Government of Benin republic threatened to withdraw the license of MTN Benin if MTN takes such an action against its people. If the Government and people of Benin Republic can protect its Citizens by stopping MTN, why cant’ our people and our Government stop MTN from taking our Jobs away for doing nothing wrong. In case you don't know, some of our colleagues have been sacked in the past few weeks for making innocent comments on Xenophobia and now with this decision of MTN Nigeria, more than 4,500 staff will be out of Job by July 2015. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT MTN DID TO VISAFONE WHICH WAS RECENTLY ACQUIRED BY MTN......THEY THREW ALL THE STAFF AWAY !!!!. ASK ANY OLD VISAFONE STAFF YOU KNOW !!! FOR HOW LONG WILL THEY BE ALLOWED TO CONTINUE DOING THIS TO US ?THE BIG QUESTIONS: 1.. Why is MTN South Africa excluded from the Countries in this arrangement? 2.. Why was MTN Benin not part of the Francophone Countries? 3.. Why is this happening NOW ??4.. What did we do wrong as Nigerian Call Agents to be sent into the unemployment market (some of us having worked for MTN for up to 8 years)? 5. If 4,500 Nigerians are kicked back to the street, what will be the effect on Nigerian economy ![]() This is a Campaign for all Nigerians: - PLEASE Safe our Jobs. WE MUST STOP THEM !! MTN Must not be allowed to sack us all PLEASE CIRCULATE THIS EMAIL TO ALL NIGERIANS Please send to all Bloggers We are the Concerned MTN NIGERIA CCR |
