The Etisalat Flash Fiction prize is a vote based contest driven 'entirely' by social media . While some see this as bad thing, I think there has to be a good side to it. Some of the good sides I found were: 1. Helping writers build their platforms. 2. More visibility and exposure 3. Encouraging writers to value readers, not just art. What do you think? Full dislosure: I am a part of the Dressed Like A Prince team. You can read the story on the etisalatprize site and vote and give us feedback too. :-) Thank you and God bless you! |
