so Long the Inverter has editAble settings - where you cn set the charge settings, you're good to go.

Also, if you intends using Solar panels, and you intends using an external Charge controller, then you need not bother at all

The inverter is a Luminous 24v/1.5KVA and does not have editable settings

Though I have solar panels and an MPPT charge controller

Does your inverter have adjustable setting at the back for SMF,Tubular or flat plate batteries?.If it does use SMF,if not it will have either HC ( High Charging) or Normal Charging ( NC).I use Luminous Zelios 1.5kva for LFP and no issues. Its charging current is about 18amps and with SMF setting the max charging voltage is 28.8v which is still fine.I have solar set up with it though but the one in my Madam office has no solar and it works fine as well.

It has a switch with two positions namely:-
1) Regulated UPS
2) Unregulated UPS

Guy with 600k you will get llitjium.battery 25.6v 100 ah.Cworth is 555k,Valto should be within the 600k range, @Mrreed Lifepo4 of same capacity is #420k. and if you can wait,Deriy battery is about 385k.So you see you have more than enough options for LFP that will give you same capacity as 2 tubular batteries and last linger,charges faster

For someone like me with an existing system and my gel batries are no longer serving.
Will I need to change my inverter as i once heard that Lithium batteries cannot work with regular inverters that are commonly used to charge lead-acid batteries.

Would I need to change my inverter as I learnt that not all inverters that handle lead acid batteries can handle lithium batteries.

2) In the event that I am unable to get the gel type batteries. How do I identify good and genuine tubular batteries (12v/200ah) as there seems to be so much fake and substandard batteries in the market these days.
