I hope you know that PTDF can change the country a person chose. You can choose Germany and when the scholarship is out they will change it to France or Malaysia. PTDF does that all the time. So Imagine paying application fee of €100 and ending up getting a different country. To my understanding it is far better one wait for the shortlist, especially if you are for FGM.

You can email the school to give you a waiver on the application fee, tell them you're a potential ptdf candidate and awaiting their response

Very few people read news papers, the list was not broadcasted on TV, No text msg, I don't think they even put it online. Almost like they didn't want people to know

What does that even mean "individuals more deserving" nobody is more deserving than another, as long as you meet the stipulated requirements. Each state gets represented equally, oil producing states get more which is fair.

It's okay to assume we have a system like ptdf that 'plays by the rules'. If that's how you view it, no problem.

This isn't about having a defeatist mentality btw. It's just that the quota system is faulty, even if strictly followed. Why? Because there are so many individuals more deserving, but won't be selected. That's why we are hammering on having hope and stick to praying. That's a positive mentality.

Guys, don't think too much about the interview, they can ask you anything, just be calm and give them your best answer, no one know exactly how they'll pick, anyone could get lucky.

I personally think its absurd to ask undergraduate for publications ( yes I know some people have it, and I'm happy for them).
