If you check market prices for these cars you’d find out that they are almost the same. As I see it the Honda Accord should be most ‘value for your money’ purchase.

To checkmate the issue of its legs pulling out when driving then just go to ladipo and buy 3 tokumbo ball joints, take 2 of them to a mechanic, pay him to change/replace the two front wheels own and then throw the last one you bought into your boot.

From that moment on just budget to spend same amount of cash to do it all again after every 6 months of constant use to never experience such with the 03-07 Honda Accord.

The last one that stays in the boot is like your ‘get out of jail card’ in case you’re naughty to the car and forget to change its ball joints. So consider the accord if you can keep your naughty level in check when the using it

I think it is better you go for kia rio 2009.

If you must go for honda civic, go for 2005 and avoid its 2007/08 because of electrical issues they normally have.
