Please i have been noticing when i am accelerating for a long time there is gap or like a hiccup, i feel the vibration in my pedal , it doesn’t happen when my mechanic drives it and i dont know how to explain it, has anyone experienced that before and whats the solution please

There's absolutely every need to urgently fix it. ABS helps to control your car during emergency braking. It does this by not allowing your wheels to lock up and cause the car to slide uncontrollably. ABS also prevent slip out or spin out of cars in slippery conditions and on corners during braking.


Without ABS functioning in your car, its like a bullet on a damage mission.

sadly i think it is the ball joint according to the mechanic �����, i changed it just July 18th

its so stressful

My abs light is on my dashboard then i notice the abs cable was cut on the driver’s wheel

My question is is there any need fixing it cos i do not know the function on abs in my car

Good evening guys, please i keep hearing a click sound at driver’s wheel when i apply my brake in my Honda accord 2005.

My mechanic removed my brake pad and arranged it on my brake disc the sound reduced now it is back

Please who have experienced this before? what could be wrong?

I understand that Luvinghubby has already drawn your attention to the drive shaft.
It could be your ball joint too (I would put this top of the list).
My Accord once gave knocking sounds on turning the steering, which was worsening with time. When I examined the front end, I narrowed it down to the ball joint. I replaced ball joints and knocking sounds disappeared.

so i took it to the mechanic so it was found that my brakepad left it position now it has placed well and the noise is gone.Thank you all

I won't advice anyone to learn how to drive how I did...know your limitations and act accordingly..


As for me, I have near perfect eyesight, and good limb coordination...what doctor's call "hand-eye coordination"...in my own case, my hand-foot-eye coordination is above average...I can draw a perfectly straight line without a ruler ..I suppose that helped me pick up driving as fast as I did...

Finally, never be overconfident...much as I learnt to drive quite fast, i am extremely careful on the wheels...

Everyone advise me against buying a Honda Car. Only reason given is leg pulling and low resale value.

Please advise me....Honda cars seem to be the only car i can afford that worth the value.

2005 model,its not big and bulky like eod and dc and since it's your first car,you fit use am learn to be acquainted with cars.its fuel consumption cannot dig a hole in your pocket.the Ac is madd.just get a good unit.I have used it before,so am speaking from experience

EOD is good but I will always recommend Honda Civic or Toyota Yaris (both 2008 model) as a first car for most ladies.

there is nothing wrong with EOD,is the leg issues that particular model of accord experiences that made them to advised you to go for Toyota, and considering the fact that you are in Abuja that has better road network I think that makes it better for you, but why not consider civic, I think in my personal opinion its more lady like,and has awesome fuel economy,better than the accord, will probably cost less to maintain than the accord also, and again na abuja so roads there will not be an issue for the low ground clearance of the civic.
