its possible the persons account number is an xpress account. if na xpress account you can only transfer to it when you choose other banks and then eco mobile abi na eco xpress from the bank names.

Good afternoon everyone, pls im trying to carry out a transaction with somebody who banks with ecobank using my mobile app. Wenever i choose d option Ecobank Plc as d beneficiary bank it generates an error popup. But wen i use Ecomobile/Ecobank Xpress Account, together with d acct no, d beneficiary's name pop up. Should i still make d transaction?
Pls i need ans urgently.
