Sports / Re: Ivory Coast Are AFCON 2023 Champions by NwaIdeato: 4:14am On Feb 12 |
The 2013 team Keshi used was far better and cohesive than this one, even Osimhen sef isn't as good as we hype him up to be...I'll take the likes of Ideye Brown and Emenike 10x over Osimhen. 1 Like |

safarigirl: Talking like a typical spineless and stagnant Nigerian, that's why you lots keep recycling redundant leaders to destroy your potential. If you're so scared of change (however much needed), and taking risk...then how can you succeed? If the Ivorians were content sticking to the status quo, then they wouldn't have changed their coach mid-tournament and ultimately won the AFCON trophy. I insist that certain players in this team have gotten too comfortable and are simply average (albeit overhyped)...players like Iwobi, Chukwueze, Zaidu, Moses Simon etc are not good enough and should be phased out. The team is overdue for a new phase of players and we HAVE THEM, just give them a chance! 1 Like |

Personally I think this team should be disbanded, except for only Osimhen, Nwabali, Ekong, Onyeka and maybe Aina...time to bed in the likes of Orban, Akinsanmiro, Eletu, Igoh Ogbu etc into the team ASAP...we pretty much lucked our way into the final so it is what it is...also time to phase out the likes of Iwobi, Chukwueze, Simon, Musa- thanks for your services but it's time for fresh ideas Congrats to CIV, it was always written in the stars for them to be champions so I'm not pained. We go again next year. 1 Like |

Elemosho478: Ilorin is GONE AND GONE FOREVER, keep basking on Enugu killings that happened years ago, at least Enugu doesn't have an EMIR that dictates to them. We all saw how your useless yorugbantis brothers got banned from performing their isese festival right on their own turf by a Fulani EMIR and imprisoned for daring to protest, even a whole Wole Soyinka was told to shut up by the Emir of Ilorin. Walahi by the time APC is done with you yorubaa rascals , una eyes go clear by force . Shebi Bororo boys don off two of una monarchs for Ekiti come even dump their bodies for bush like goats, Ilorin will be child's play compared to what is coming to the SW...even that una Lagos wey una dey use act like barbarians will soon be conquered. Go to Agege and other Hausa dominated parts of Lagos and see how those Hausa boys bully yorubaas and even kill them for trespassing on their businesses. 4 Likes 3 Shares |

Sannisege: Nnamdi Kanu is a secessionist figure whom millions of Igbos including top elites don't necessarily support, Kanu isn't Peter Obi or Chimamanda- touch these two figures and expect scorch earth brutal consequences, this isn't bragging, just pure facts. Remember you're a yoruba piece of garbage, you literally obey orders from an EMIR right on your ancestral soil I'm Ilorin, it's pure comedy to think you can disparage Igbos when you're a conquered people in yorubaland! 4 Likes |

Three Islamic clerics arrested for allegedly beheading man in Ibadan Three Islamic clerics have been detained at the Oyo State Criminal Investigation Department for allegedly beheading a middle-aged man in Ibadan, the state capital. Investigations by The PUNCH revealed that the victim, who was lured to a bush at Moniya in Akinyele Local Government Area of the state, was said to be working for one of the suspected killers. It was gathered that the victim was lured to the area where he was allegedly killed under the pretext of being awarded a job. His head was reportedly severed. The suspects were later arrested at Apete in the Ido Local Government Area of the state. However, many residents expressed shock over the incident. One of the residents, who did not want her name in print, said, βIt was so pathetic. One of the alleged murderers was a popular cleric known for his distinct turban among the Islamic community of Alapata.β A reliable police source, who confirmed the incident to our correspondent, said the alleged assailants were landlords in his jurisdiction, but the heinous act was said to have been perpetrated in Moniya. DodadaKoKigbe:And Yaribanza monkeys are the biggest fraudsters, forgery masters, head hunting ritualistic subhumans and to crown it all cowards in Nigeria- the only tribe in the whole South and even Nigeria who have a part of their history with Fulani conquest of their ancestral homeland as an indelible stigma. Now stick to the topic and stop deflecting by picking fights with Igbos, we are not the incompetent idiots ruining this nation in the APC govt. 81 Likes 9 Shares |

Napata77: Typical Noise making monkey, have you called the military to weed out the herdmen that slaughtered over 8 of your useless brothers in Oyo state yesterday, even Amotekun and OPC operatives were used for fulani head-shot shooting pleasure, abi are those poor yaribaa lives of worthless value for the military to retaliate over? I'll take Igbos sit at home over using human heads and body parts for ritual killings like is the order of the day in the Sad wastee. The Emir of Ilorin warned and banned you pigs from performing your isese festival in Ilorin just few months ago, he even went ahead and gave order for the violators of his order to be locked up and are still locked up till date. A whole Wole Soyinka was insulted by the Emir for speaking up against his order, where was your outrage on that? It's when it comes to Igbos that your small preek will stand erect, but I'm glad armed groups in the SE are dealing with your cowardly military men, now if they kill one civilian in the SE, 5 of them will be ambushed and roasted like asun like we saw in Imo state few weeks ago. Do anyhow and see anyhow. 9 Likes |
