Guys, let’s talk truth for a moment. Nigeria transport system is changing slowly but surely, and one of the biggest changes happening right now is the rise of electric vehicles (EVs). Some people still think EVs are “oyinbo things” that will never work in Nigeria because of NEPA light issues, fuel subsidy wahala, and bad roads. But things are not exactly like that again. Electric vehicles and motorcycle are already entering Lagos, Abuja, and even some private fleets. See full details here 👉 https://lagosmove.com.ng/how-electric-vehicles-are-transforming-transportation-in-nigeria/ Why EVs are becoming popular in Nigeria Even though Nigeria still has power challenges, EVs are still gaining attention because: 1. Fuel price is too high Let’s be honest. Petrol price don go sky high. Many drivers are suffering. So people are now asking: Why I go dey buy fuel every day when I fit just charge my car? Maintenance is cheaper Traditional cars get engine problems, gear issues, oil change, radiator issues the list long. But EVs have fewer moving parts. That means less breaking down and less spending on mechanics. Cleaner environment In cities like Lagos, air pollution is real. EVs don’t release smoke. No exhaust fumes. So it helps reduce pollution and make air cleaner. Even though generator still dey disturb the environment, EV is at least a step forward. But how does charging work in Nigeria? See full details here 👉 https://lagosmove.com.ng/how-electric-vehicles-are-transforming-transportation-in-nigeria/ This one is where people usually raise eyebrow. Yes, electricity supply is still unstable, but things are improving slowly: Some EV owners charge at home using solar panels Some use public charging stations (still few but increasing) Some companies are already building EV charging hubs in Lagos and Abuja Also, most EV users charge at night when electricity is cheaper or more stable. EV buses and keke are also coming It’s not only private cars o. Electric buses are already being tested in Lagos transport system Electric keke (tricycles) are entering some areas Delivery companies are starting to use electric bikes What the future looks like If things continue like this: More EV charging stations will appear in major cities Transport companies will start adding electric buses Petrol cars may reduce gradually in cities like Lagos Ride-hailing apps may introduce more EV options Imagine booking Bolt or Uber and getting a silent electric car that doesn’t smell fuel. That one go sweet. Check all the details here https://lagosmove.com.ng/how-electric-vehicles-are-transforming-transportation-in-nigeria/ |
Who Don Travel Night Bus Before? Which Transport Company You Fit Recommend? My people, make we talk true. These days plenty Nigerians prefer to travel for night pass daytime. If you don ever enter road from Lagos during daytime, you go understand. Traffic fit make person tire before the journey even start. Na why many people dey choose night travel. Road dey more free, weather dey cool, and before you know am, morning don break and you don reach your destination. Some transport companies wey people dey use well well for night travel na: ✅ GIGM ✅ GUO Transport ✅ ABC Transport ✅ Peace Mass Transit ✅ Chisco Transport ✅ Ekeson Motors ✅ Ifesinachi Transport For your own experience, which one be the best? Which company get better drivers and comfortable buses? You don ever get funny or scary experience while travelling for night? Abeg share your experience make others learn. I finally used the Lagos Blue Line Rail recently and honestly, the experience surprised me. If you live for Lagos, you already know say traffic fit frustrate person tire. Sometimes journey wey suppose take 30 minutes go turn to almost 3 hours because of hold up. That thing alone dey drain energy every single day. See the full train prices here 👉 https://lagosmove.com.ng/lagos-blue-line-rail/ But this Blue Line train? Different experience entirely. The train moves from Marina to Mile 2 and the movement smooth well well. No traffic, no danfo wahala, no conductor shouting “oshiodi! CMS!”. You just enter, relax small and before you know it, you don reach your destination. One thing I noticed be say many people still never understand how the system works. So make I break am down small: Current Stations: Marina National Theatre Iganmu Alaba Mile 2 Ticket prices depend on where you dey go, but e still reasonable compared to the stress of road transport and fuel cost nowadays. The train coaches are clean and air-conditioned too. Honestly, e no even feel like normal public transport wey we dey used to for Nigeria. See the full train prices here 👉 https://lagosmove.com.ng/lagos-blue-line-rail/ The good part be say the journey time predictable. If you get office for Island side, this train fit save your life from Lagos traffic stress. But I still think government need improve some things: More trains More trips daily Extension to Okokomaiko fast Longer operation hours Better crowd control during rush hour Because during morning and evening rush, the place fit full seriously. Still, I go give credit where e dey due. This Blue Line project na one of the best transportation developments Lagos has seen in years. Anybody here don use the train before? How your experience be?
