Originalsly: I see where Thoth is coming from. We need to look deeper than the surface. But then again the puppet masters are no longer as shadowy as they used to be....they have actually surfaced. "How Europe Underdeveloped Africa" by Walter Rodney may help us understand why Africa remains underdeveloped in spite of its vast resources. BTW...Walter Rodney was murdered...blown up.

It suggests that death cannot be prevented/delayed through PERSONAL (IR)RESPONSIBILITY.
An insufficiently informed reader (of which there are many) might conclude that a person has no control over his own death happening sooner rather than later.
A man can take steps to aggravate his death- such as smoking, having unprotected s'ex, fighting & killing another person so he is convicted of murder and killed by the government, etc- yet attributes his death to Allah's will.
While everyone will ultimately die, each person has a role to play in safeguarding himself.
