Ghana is not even up to half of Cape verde in GDP per capital income (Unlike Nigeria that is ahead of Ghana in per capital income).

There are 37 federal govt universities in Nigeria, 37 state govt universities in Nigeria and about 2 dozen private universities in Nigeria (making about 100).

I did not add the polythecnics, colleges and others oo. How many universities does Ghana have?

Nigeria has 36 states and each of these states has at least a University, a Polythecnic, Colleges of health, education and other tertiary institutions which they built and maintain.

If every Ghanaian district has their own university, then Ghana should be having hundreds of government universities. So how many universities are there in Ghana?

Can you show us official links of the expenditures, internal generated revenues, taxation systems and budgets of your districts??

The mistake you guys and even many make is that they take only the Federal govt statistics to represent Nigeria.

What about our state governments? They have their own statistics as well, which when added together will be larger.

Take a look, especially at the little difference in their revenues in comparison with their respective GDP and population figures. I think this is shameful on the part of Nigeria.

It's mostly a waste of time defending this country.

Political and fiscal federalism is the only way forward due to it's bias for productivity and competition among its constituent units.
