1. Google has zero tolerance for blogs with AI-generated content. They'll kill the blog right from scratch. Even if it manages to escape their hammer by chance, that won't last long!

2. Other search engines like Bing are still quite friendly towards AI-generated content. But because those have a much smaller share of the search market than Google, getting decent traffic from them requires publishing hundreds to thousands of articles.

3. Google Adsense and other contextual ad networks have become stricter than ever when it comes to accepting new sites. Adsense particularly has gone crazier with their unclear requirements. Most others won't accept you if Adsense doesn't. And the likes of Journey by Mediavine never accept sites with AI content. Ezoic that used to be go-to alternative has now raised their minimum traffic requimement to 250,000 visits!

4. SEO-motivated blogging has taken a serious hit with the advent of AI overviews on search results. Your article can rank number 1 and still not get a single click because the AI overview has perfectly answered the user.

5. There might still be some hope, though. Google can still rank your new blog if you can write your articles manually with a lot of unique angles that aren't in other similar articles. When AI writes code for you, it gets to the point where it stops (used up your session tokens) and tells you to wait for a few hours or even days before you can continue. AI is good, but it has gotten too expensive to rely fully on it. Your best bet is to learn to code, then merge your skills with AI for faster development.

Go and learn programming from scratch. You soon won’t even be able to afford the ai. Before a $20 OpenAI subscription was enough for me to build 3 apps with codex but now I pay over $100 monthly for same amount of work. In the next 6months AI won’t be ready cheap and available as it used to be because the companies giving you the AI are running at a loss each time you use their service. This is why Claude code had introduced a lot of restrictions and rate limits.

Also without programming knowledge you won’t even be able to effectively build and manage a good product. AI is good for starting new projects not managing a project( you need programming knowledge to effectively use ai on an existing project else you break the project) with existing data and thousands of users.

Ai isn't even that good currently... We've been hearing Ai this Ai that, yet almost zero meaningful world class product built 100% by AI alone.... To be able to understand or debug whatever you've built with AI, u need to have some programming experience.


For now Ai is just a tool that makes the lives of people with development experience easier... As someone with experience, U can play around with it but building a world-class software u either need dev experience or a partnership with someone who does

My brother, suicide is not even the best option. This can be a blessing or a curse base on how you interpret the situation. My advice for you is to devote the two years to learning a skills highly related to your field of study or something you're passionate about and by the time the two years elapses, you might even be way ahead of your peers.

Concerning informing your parent or guidance, it depends on how strict they are. If you feel you're close enough, explain to them and tell them how you intend to turn things around. If you aren't close, look for a close relative who can explain to them.

My advice to start with is to calculate the total amount your family needs to survive for a year. expenses like rent, school fees, transportation, feeding, health insurance and co. Add at least 20-30% of the total as buffer for inflation, emergencies and miscellaneous. Then divide by 12 which will give the monthly cost to sustain your family.

If the monthly cost is above your current salary, then you need to start considering ways to increase your side income either by upskilling in your current job like taking a certification that will enable you land a better paying offer or freelancing if the nature of your job permit so or running a side hustle or business.

A 10 days without rain can negatively influence expected outcome and put his farm or investment at risk. I have seen a whole hectare of maize farm being render almost unproductive as a result of prolong lack of rain during rainy season. To achive greater success in farming, it is better to be in total control of your fate than solely relies on nature that is subject to sudden change or uncertainty.

You will make much more profit if you used the money meant for 6 acres to irrigate just 2 acres with peace of mind. You can easily intercrop in irrigation land and still harvest bountifully well.

Just being curious, I'm a 400L student of agriculture following this thread and I will like to learn from you sir. What kind of irrigation works for open field like the one the OP has?

Even in advanced countries, places like China and USA, people work on the farm and other people work with different sectors.

You people hype agriculture like it's the only thing that can give you a path to wealth.

Lemme tell you, one of the reasons India is poor today is because most of their citizens are farmers, they spend most of their time on the farm and agricultural produce is their main source of income.

Almost all the countries have embraced self-dependent agricultural practice, this is not the 20th century when one particular country is dependent on another for food.

Too much of harvest will paralyse the price of agriculture produce.

Everybody cannot be on the Farm.
Some people need to keep your money.
Some people need to fix your machines that you use on the same farm.

Some people need to supply the fertilizers that you use.

Some people need to study on the best climate and water level to ensure maximum harvest.

Some people need to provide good roads to transport produce to where they can be sold.

Shelter is man's basic need. Some people need to study how to build good structures. All these things require academic certifications.

This is not rocket science. When there is too much harvest in the market, the price of farm produce drops and that's a loss for the farmers.

Farming is not for everybody, the same way white collar job isn't for everybody.

From 2009 to the fall of 2015. The price of cassava dropped very woefully at the markets in Oyo State. Do you know why?
It was because prior to 2009, cassava was sold at high price and many people because of that went into cassava farming in large scale so much more that there was a sudden influx of harvest into the market and the price dropped.

What about pepper? In 2013 to early 2021. A 50kg salt sac full of pepper sometimes was sold at ₦200 in shasha market because there was too much harvest.

I've been into crop farming and fish farming.

A certain individual came to me for consultation on fish farming so I took him to my uncle because I wasn't making any production that period.

My uncle had been raising fishes for about 30 years now. And lemme tell you the truth, last year he went about looking for a white collar job.

Farming can give you a very huge kind of money that you never expected in your life in one year, and take back all the money and even run you into debt the next two years.

I'm not saying white collar job is better than Farming. I'm only saying everybody cannot be at the same place.

Agriculture will give plenty of food, yes of course. But it cannot sustain the economy. People will be well fed, but they will be poor.

Look at India and Mali where 80% depends their livelihood on agriculture yet they are considered poor both by global and regional standards.

If you wanted to destroy Africa it is very easy.
