After recommending CVNA at $48 and seen it grow to $193 within a year, I find FLEX looking similar in chart pattern. It is now about to create an all time high! It may not move as fast as CVNA but has the potential for a parabolic chart in the long term. Total revenue for Q2 is $6.31 B, 2.35% higher compared to the previous quarter. Price-to-sales ratio is 0.53 with an Enterprise Value to EBITDA ratio of 8.46. EPS for Q2 is $0.51 Vs estimated $0.41 accounting for 23.88% surprise. |

I recently likened Aradel’s management integrity with that of NIDF in the manner they create shareholder value and try to increase dividend payout to shareholders. Well, they seem to be proving me right small, small. Q3 quarterly dividend of N5.09/share has been announced. The highest payout so far! We will still chop another one in 3 months time. Dividend aristocrats don’t fail to keep this in your portfolio. |

If there be any more info, I may again share. No worries. |

yMcy56: - Ordinarily, Lasaco is not a N2 stock, think say I've said this more than once here before. - The person talking about dilution......which dilution? Private placement was carried out, not the common "bring your Kobo Kobo" for Right Issue......maybe it's only 2 or 3 investors that supplied the N9bn+ self. - Also, the fund was not supposed to be there for window dressing, it's meant for business, diversification and investment. - Hopefully, the management will make a judicious use of the fund to add value to the company and the shareholders.
**Caveat: Not any form of advice** Please make me understand why the N9 billion will not dilute the existing OS prior to the private placement. Was it a loan facility or equity financing? Maybe I’m missing something. |

pluto09: We all want the naira to appreciate but we should also be realistic with our expectations. Yes, import bills will reduced but so also is our export earnings from crude oil. Last line very true, but this is where we need the sincerity of government by them proactively scaling up production output to fill that yawning gap in export earnings. |

Lasaco Assurance Plc’s financial strength reaffirmed by GCR Ratings Lasaco Assurance Plc, a prominent player in the Nigerian insurance sector, has once again received a reaffirmation of its A(NG) rating and Stable Outlook from Global Credit Rating (GCR), underlining its robust financial position and resilience. This recognition comes at a time when the company has continued to navigate economic challenges with unwavering strength. The report by GCR has accentuated Lasaco Assurance Plc’s strong risk-adjusted capitalisation and ample liquidity, highlighting its ability to withstand market volatility and maintain financial stability. The company’s ability to not only endure but thrive in the midst of economic uncertainties solidifies its reputation as a reliable insurance provider in Nigeria. While the GCR report identifies areas for strategic focus, such as modest competitive position and underwriting losses, the company is actively addressing these as part of its long-term growth strategy. By proactively focusing on these areas, Lasaco Assurance Plc is positioning itself for sustained success and further strengthening its position in the market. Looking forward, Lasaco Assurance Plc is poised for even greater financial strength, with a finalized capital injection expected to bolster its capabilities further. This injection will undoubtedly enhance the company’s ability to continue delivering top-tier insurance services and meet its obligations. This reaffirmation by GCR serves as a testament to Lasaco Assurance Plc’s unwavering dedication to excellence and its pivotal role as a leading force in the Nigerian insurance landscape. With a steadfast focus on delivering top-tier insurance services, the company remains committed to prioritising the needs of its stakeholders, including customers, staff, investors, and the broader public.
LASACO safe to Buy now? I don’t know how they think about retail investors. But I know we are not that dumb to see clearly that when these companies need funds, they manufacture any kind of ratings to prop up their image. Well, I personally don’t bother myself with any company raising funds for whatever. Reason I didn’t participate in all these bank recapitalization exercise despite having a lot as rights issue. |

olig: Please, which broker is recommended for NASD?
I also need recommendation for another good NGX broker, like MorganCapital. I need the one with live trading features.
Thank you. You can use Atlass Portfolios Ltd. They have the same online trading platform as Morgan Capital. Their founder is actually a co-founder of Morgan Capital and perhaps that’s why their user interface is similar. Both Morgan Capital and Atlass Portfolios can open a NASD account for you via email instruction to that effect. |

Sunrisepebble: Yes. How I wish I could share their business plan here. The reason why I am super bullish long run is because of that deal to acquire Shells assets. The amount of gas reserves is huge and gas is still majorly untapped in Nigeria. The Refinery will also start producing petrol hopefully in Q4 and LPG. They’re also about to complete acquisition for a new tank farm. Like I said, me I’ve made good money, enough where I can decide not to trade for years, I’ll be exiting shortly. But those that have a long term view it is a really great company You are a good man. For all you do sincerely here in a short time, you are appreciated, and I’m personally happy for your win in Aradel. Enjoy your reward. |

emmanuelewumi: You can sell 50% to 75%, but I will advise you to still hold some.
Don't underestimate where a well managed , growth and cash rich company will be in 5 years.
The right offer of United Capital was 90k in 2014, those who sold at N4.00 after enjoying capital appreciation are full of regrets.
The par value of Aradel was N10 until the recent stock split which made it 50k.
What does this mean, it shows that the original N10 invested at the startup stage of the business is now worth almost N14,000, excluding dividend earned over the years.
In fact that initial N10 will earn a dividend of about N400 in the current financial year. Meaning dividend earned is 40 times the amount invested Absolutely. You have just reminded me of when I bought Seplat N350 and after waiting a long while, I sold around N750 thinking that was the highest height it can get to. The rest is history. I will not make the same error with Aradel, as long as the books remain kept clean and the management keep the faithfulness. |

Coolcash1: I completely agree with you. Dr Fatona laid a very very good foundation for the company. Him and his team were more focused on building a strong and reliable company thereby sacrificing little benefits for huge future gains. This the company has continued to build on which is now resulting in a robust liquidity and profitability. They are so liquid to the extent that banks practically chase them to take loan which they declined.
I can’t wait for their listing on the bourse for me to buy tasere units. Can’t agree more. They practically imbibed the principles in the book titled Built To Last. I’m buying both on NASD and when they list soon on NGX. |

emmanuelewumi: The key word is fair and God fearing leaders.
By the way Unipetrol now Oando was far bigger than NDEP now Aradel in 1990.
It started as a small consulting firm of geologists and geophysicists. By the way the founder has a PhD in Geology, in his early 80s and now retired .
The company did not miss dividend payments in the last 20 years That very first line is where wealth resides. Warren Buffet once said “Honesty is a very expensive gift, don’t expect it from cheap people”. That Aradel leadership quality is one critical litmus test we must try to find for long term stocks, irrespective of one’s short term “gambles” with any other jijo stock. NIDF felt similar to me when they declared an extraordinary dividend from assets sold last December, effectively paying dividends 5 times in the last financial year instead of 4 times. |

Sunrisepebble: Aradel gang our 1k is very possible before listing on NGX . I have a source who has been in the stock since inception, holds 12mn units post split, every time it gains 10% it’s printing 700 million for him Nice updates. Na so I sidon dey look Nestle at N9 thinking it was too expensive while buying Savannah Bank at N2 (though I sold before it went under), but see the difference even without factoring all the bonuses Nestle gave over the years! Time for us to find the next Aradel on NASD or NGX. Some of us have been long enough in this business to be talked about as we are now interestingly doing about other early birds. It’s a challenge to all contributors on this thread: TA FA SA EA You name it. |

Oil stocks have more room to run as tension in the Middle East escalates. Exxon shares surged 7.8% to an all time high on Friday, while Chevron climbed 3.6% due to Iran’s first missile strike on Israel. As Israel plans to retaliate, plan to make profits from oil stocks this week. I’m still searching for cheaper candidates with greater percentage profit potentials.

Tesla just tumbled from $260 to $241! Can I tell you why? 3rd quarter report shows they delivered 462,890 vehicles as of Sept. 30, below the 466,000 EVs the company delivered in the year-ago period. Wall Street had expected Tesla to deliver closer to 463,897, according to Bloomberg. In my opinion, the dip is an over reaction because delivery was actually up 6.4% quarter over quarter. I will buy at $242 and watch it rise grades back to $260. |
