Thanks be to God almighty. Completion of blocks moulding. 21,000 in total It took one month and 3 days . |
Total expenditure for blocks moulding was 2million naira. 21,000 blocks. Equivalent to 7,000 normal blocks. Next stage will be foundation to dpc. I will keep you guys updated as work goes on. No total budget for now but I'm building from my salary without borrowing so is going to be gradual. Materials for next stage are ready. Cost of materials are rising fast so i can not really specify total budget. But i will make it simple and Natural Eco friendly house |

Work in progress. Three weeks of productions. We have reached a milestone. Halfway through. Ten thousand blocks already mould. Remaining extra Ten thousand blocks Remaining blocks are Three thousand U Blocks (lintel blocks) Four thousand Half blocks Five thousand normal blocks of 300mm x 150mm x 100mm.

Beautiful laterite absolutely nature at its best. The sand looks like pigmentation of the sand. I know this building with interlocking bricks is not that popular in nija yet.but I'm going to give the best of this project |

Day three of productions

Preparation of the mixtures for this project is 5 wheelbarrow of laterite of 25percent clay and a wheelbarrow of stonedust. And one bag of cement. We have three differents of mixing ratios Ratio 1 5 wheelbarrow of laterite,1 wheelbarrow of pure river sharp sand and 1 bag of cement. Ratio 2 5 wheelbarrow of laterite 1 wheelbarrow of stonedust and one bag of cement Ratio 3 4 wheelbarrow of laterite 1 wheelbarrow of plaster sand , 1 wheelbarrow of stonedust and one bag of cement. I bought a very good admixtures for all the ratio. Waterproof admixtures and extra strength admixtures |
Good day nairalanders. I'm in the process of making compressed stabilise earth blocks (CSEB).for my future retirement home. Location Owan west in sabogida ora. Edo state. I would like to share my experience with you all on this blocks making process. I want an eco friendly building and the process has to start with natural organic building materials. The primarily source of CSEB materials are laterite clay soil compressed at high pressure to form block typically around 3000psi is applied in compression and the original soil is reduced by half. CSEB blocks are extra solid and can be manufacture to a predictable sizes and has fine flat sizes n 90 degree angle edges. Non toxic materials and completely Natural. Sound proofing and fire resistance Location; owan west LGA. Edo state Contractor; bigdaddy and bigmama. Abuja Duration; three weeks Estimated blocks; 20.000 equates 7.000 normal sandcrete blocks. Project is live and I'm directing proceedings from diaspora. I will will share you all my experience and experiences are work progress
