Just to set the records straight, Egusi, Ogbono/apon, are not original igbo foods. Yes the Igbos might have modified it to taste better but did not start from them.

It started with the yorubas in Nigeria and was introduced to the igbos and hausawa.

Edikiong we all know is calabar food

Tuwo shikafa is Hausa and fulani food

Isi ewu is Igbo

Banga soup is Itsekiri

Eba/amala is yoruba food

Pounded yam/Iyan was dated back to the 1700 in the Yagba district present day Kogi

akara and Moi-moi are yoruba foods

jollof rice is Yoruba I don't know of fried which is likly chinese

Jollof rice, as the name indicates originates from the Jolof Empire of Senegal where oryza glaberrima (indigenous African rice) was domesticated. It is still the national dish of Senegal where it is called cebujen.

Àkànkẹ́ - Specially pampered
Àdùkẹ́ - one fought for to pamper
Aládé mi - My owner of the crown (king)
Àlè mi - my concubine (can have pejorative meaning but can be accurate to describe a situation)
Òpómúléró mi - my pillar which allows the house to stand
Ìdùnnú mi - my happiness
Àkànní - Special possession
Tèmi nìkanṣoṣo - mine alone
Kòṣeéfowórà mi - My priceless one
Ajíkí mi - My one who I greet as soon as I wake
Ajírí mi - My one who I see as soon as I wake
Akẹ́bàjẹ́ tèmi nìkan - The one who I pamper to spoiling
Ọmọ t'ó ṣíngbọnlẹ̀ - One with the desirable shape
Ọlọ́kàn mi - Owner of my heart

The classes focus on communication in various contexts where students will create their own sentences and understand the sentence structure and grammar.

Additionally, students learn the significance of tones and how a simple change in tone changes the whole meaning of the word. Classes also focus on the worldview of Afrikan people as expressed in proverbs, poetry, greetings, conversations, our conception of time, the way in which we give directions, the way that we tell stories and more.
