Democracy which means govt of the people for the people, Not govt of Beyonce, Eminem, Taylor Swift, Lebron, Maddona, CardiB, Surrogates, etc

I am on ground and told you confidently that people are feeling, you mocked them for feeling and not data

Does the "feeling" now matter or we should just ignore it and face the data

Oh Well, pray Trump does not become anything near our fear.

If he does, then you will know the real meaning of 'feeling it' and importance of data.

And like you said, you are on the ground, enjoy your Trump, his drama and all of him100%.

I only pray that the universe will protect all those who are innocents from any negativity from Trump.

Well either way it goes, it will be historic: Either Americans vote for the 1st woman president or for the 1st convicted felon president.

CNN interviews a Puerto Rican lady who said having a better future is more important than petty insults to her

1 lady Vs thousands Puerto Ricans that were cheering on Fat Joe last night talking about Latino Pride.

Anyways campaign is over now, election is on... Let's wait for the results and move on afterwards.

Update on Florida. Republicans mean business 😎

1st, Florida is a Red/Red leaning state not a swing state, it will not be a problem for Harris if Trump wins it.

Having said that, I don't know why you are celebrating the numbers like the NPA (No party Affiliation) votes don't matter. You need to know who the NPA voters are voting for to get the full picture and you will not know that until later tonight.

The kamala chant was better.

Exactly, she was trying to change the chant of "Kamala" to "Go and Vote" so it took some seconds before the crowd caught up.

🔵Democrats - 947,214
🔴Republicans - 553,158
🟡Others - 188,179

Democrats lead by 394,057 right now

In 2020, Democrats led early vote by 1.1 Million Votes going into Election Day.

In 2022 election they lead by 800k

5 million votes to go in PA!

Data: @MichaelPruser

Very good!

1. What happened that made the gap close is that a lot of Republicans did not vote by mail in 2020 because Trump told them not to, he called it fraud. But this year Trump encouraged mail in ballot. Many of those Republicans who have sent in their mail in ballots voted on the election day in 2020 so this year, they wont vote tomorrow.

2. In 2020 there was covid so many preferred to vote by mail. This year is different, most Pennsylvanians vote on election day because there is no early voting in PA.

So keep your main analysis till after the election tomorrow.

You can talk to me directly, don't act like teenagers not speaking with each other. All I am posting are not fake. A lot of litigation is going on I am just saying the results.

Also, the data about early voting are publicly available information for you to check

Of course I was talking to you, but you had too many misinformed posts to quote.

Post the data, the analysis and the comparison. Don't just make a quote from your MAGA sites and claim it's a fact. That was the same place you quoted that Michael Jordan has endorsed Trump which is not true.

That was a doctored video. I watched that rally live and the crowd was electrified. You can check YouTube to confirm.

Rather than worry about that, you should worry about scanty crowd at Trump rallies today.

At Allentown Pennsylvania, after addressing the crowd at the arena, she had to come out again to address the overflow outside the arena. FYI Allentown is home to many Costa Ricans.

Dems need to make it a front burner issue and scream their lungs off over it for years consistently to the point that no one will be able to defend it. Declaring a person with less votes the winner of any election is patently absurd and a mockery of Democracy, which in itself should be driven towards the will of the majority.

I agree with you on this. Also just imagine only about 7 swing states deciding the winner of the election. Both Trump and Harris must have visited Pennsylvania more than 30 times this election cycle, yet there are more than 30 states that have not seen any of the candidates campaigning even once in this election and many other election cycles... Makes no sense.

I don't see it changing... except maybe situations arise when Republicans start to win majority votes while losing the electoral college... then there might be hope.

As I am typing this, the Arab leaders are with Harris at her rally in Michigan and she addressed their concerns in Gaza.

I read somewhere earlier that the national body of Arabs weigh in on Michigan Arabs to let them know Trump cannot be trusted,

The purpose of economic policies is for people to "Feel it" in their daily lives. If people are not feeling it then you are doing it wrong. This is nt an academic research you will file somewhere, its meant to improve peoples lives

No. Experts give you economics data/performances to let you know if your economy is on the right path or not. The fact that they claim economy is doing well or on the right path, does not mean people will feel the impact immediately, but those in charge of the economy will know what policy to strengthen or discard.

So we can agree that unemployment under Biden was worse than under Trump given the stats

Now you still wonder why 70% still favor Trump economy or you still believe it's because they're uneducated

Not really, Trump left a mess and Biden cleaned it up.

But look I get it, you are the one attaching feelings to it. The fact that inflation is down to pre covid doesn't mean prices of groceries will be back automatically to pre-covid. I have no problem with those still complaining about cost of things... My only argument is that you are dismissing economics expert who are claiming that the economy is looking good as wrong base on 'not feeling it' or simply because you don't want to give Biden-Harris their credit.

Okay my bad, I didn't frame that well, I was looking at where Trump started at 4.7 and ended at 6.4 before Biden now brought it from 6.4 and now to 4.1

Inflation is down, compared to when

I hope you apologize for this wrong facts and falsehoods

https://www.bls.gov/charts/employment-situation/civilian-unemployment-rate.htm

Unemployment pre pandemic 3.6% currently in October 2024 4.1%

Inflation is going down since covid, It is now almost at pre covid level last time I checked.

Biden created more jobs than your Trump, you are looking at instants but I am looking at the whole.

I mentioned interest rate because since covid it has now started going down compare to many countries still battling inflation and cannot reduce interest rates.

These are attributes that the economy is in the right direction as experts claimed.

Same in US, Inflation is high, Unemployment is higher than pre pandemic levels. Reason why 70% of Americans say the economy is not great

Prove this.

Inflation is down now in US, Unemployment is far lower than it was at any time under Trump, Interest rate is low now. These are facts and it's the reason experts are praising US economy...the only thing is that you and many are not 'feeling it' yet.

That is ALL that matters to the governed, That is what concerns the people regarding the economy. If you are implementing policies and data which 70% of the people think is making their life hard then you are failing as a democratically elected govt

You saw a Question mark don't you? Read to understand!! I am asking that can an illiterate man without economic data know that times are harder now than it used to be. Do you need to be educated to know what your life used to be vs Now?

Kamala - Distanced herself from Bidenomics, she no longer used the words, As Trump has taken over the word Bidenomics to mock her economic policies

Obama - Former President Barack Obama tore into claims that the economy under former President Donald Trump was good on Thursday, arguing, “Yeah, it was pretty good because it was my economy!”
(That is Obama agreeing that the economy under Trump was good only that Obama claimed it was his own economy)

Clinton - "I want to make three brief points," Clinton told voters at a rally for Harris in Muskegon Heights, Michigan on Wednesday. "You did pretty well when I was president, and I think I’m entitled to my opinion about who’d be better. Two, I don’t think it’s right to say that people have to vote for Donald Trump because the economy was better… I don’t believe that."
(That is Clinton saying people don't have to vote Trump because the economy under him was better)

She is part of the Biden economy and nothing wrong with campaigning on continuing with the good economy, when something is good, you persist with it, you dont back away from it

Not just me, 70% of Americans are not seeing it. Maybe this great thing was built elsewhere but 2/3rd of Americans dont

So you believe the Naija economy is doing great, then why didnt you tell your pet puppy Ijebos who was asking which metric showed Tinubu was doing well. Since you live in Nigeria and you agree with those world bank data that Naija is doing great on

I dont live in Nigeria and I cannot argue with you if you say its good. Also if 70% of Nigerians think the economy is good/bad I will not call them illiterates

I wanted to ignore the whole thing you wrote cos you are just twisting words and repeating the same thing and I am tired of wasting my time until I read the bold.

Where did I say Nigeria economy is doing great? Even the article you posted didn't conclude that Nigeria whole economy is doing great. I told you the figures from World Bank about GDP growth and Foreign Exchange Reserve growth are 100% correct, but unlike you, World Bank and I know better that Economy is not based on only one or 2 parameters. I told you that despite those 2 positive parameters, inflation is still going up in Nigeria, unemployment is still as high as ever, and there is still corruption in Nigeria, reason why the whole economy is not great.

But, I think there is even more to it than that.
I don't think there is much policy Kamala can make or do to change that perspective, because that perspective isn't rational.
I think the generalized feeling is partisan just like everything else these days.

Fortune did a piece where they found that while 54% of people had an optimistic view of their financial situation, only 37% of people had a positive outlook of the US economy.
Think about that.
It's even contrary to what Raumdeuter is talking about. People aren't feeling they can't pay their bills, they are feeling other people won't be able to pay their bills. Just odd.

It's the same thing that happen pre and post Trump taking office. He downed the economy and so everyone trashed it, the minute he won he said it was the best economy and people started discussing it as such. He even tried to take credit for the economy before he got into office saying it was better because people knew he was going to win.

You are right, Trump, his MAGA cult and the Right wing media already created all the wrong notions about the Economy, and Kamala will spend more time countering them than to propose her new way forward.
