ON THE RUN
Chapter one
Jackson woke up from bed feeling tired,he wore a dark brown suit which ruth had bought for him on his thirty-sixth birthday.
Mr Davis who was ruth father never liked jack a bit, he worked in a law firm, it was one of the biggest in the city of lagos.
Jack entered his car and zoomed out of the garage. jack smiled as he watched the people of lagos go about their daily activities. Jack pa rked his car in front of a big church. he stared at Ruth obituary portrait, she was too beautiful to die. Jack held the lump in his throat and managed to come down and walked briskly into the church.
Jack collided into Mr davis, he clenched his teeth with anger "what are you doing here?" mr davis barked. "I came for the funeral of my girl friend and i come in peace", jack answered.
Sarah ruth mother was watching the scene, Mr davis punched him on his nose and shouted "get out of here!", jack touched the tip of his nose, it hurt him and he groaned in pain. Jack left after sarah had begged HIM.
