State Sponsors of Terrorism Countries determined by the Secretary of State to have repeatedly provided support for acts of international terrorism are designated pursuant to three laws: section 6(j) of the Export Administration Act, section 40 of the Arms Export Control Act, and section 620A of the Foreign Assistance Act. Taken together, the four main categories of sanctions resulting from designation under these authorities include restrictions on U.S. foreign assistance; a ban on defense exports and sales; certain controls over exports of dual use items; and miscellaneous financial and other restrictions. Designation under the above-referenced authorities also implicates other sanctions laws that penalize persons and countries engaging in certain trade with state sponsors. Currently there are three countries designated under these authorities: Iran, Sudan, and Syria. Country Designation Date Iran January 19, 1984 Sudan August 12, 1993 Syria December 29, 1979 Source:http://www.state.gov/j/ct/list/c14151.htm I am not surprised that Osinbajo is representing his terror master Buhari. Nigeria don enter one chance. Sodiq3: |

When people speak truth they have low IQ. You guys can not stand one minute of criticism. Your intolerant religion has a way of playing into everything you do. Sorry, to disappoint you, this is Nigeria. And Nigeria is far bigger than Islam. All this insha allah will not change anything, if the man is brainless then he is brainless. No need for religious sentiments. The early he comes out to tell us the truth the better for you and I. Now let me summarize events since 29th May and you tell me if you will sound this dumb if you were a victim: 1. Boko Haram once again attacked the northeast Nigerian city of Maiduguri on Tuesday...killed as many as 20 people 2. Reuters) - A bomb blast at a busy meat market in the northeastern Nigerian city of Maiduguri on Tuesday killed about 50 people 3. Over the weekend, more than 30 people died in another Boko Haram assault involving another suicide bombing and rocket-propelled grenades. 4. Also Tuesday, Boko Haram released a new video that allegedly shows militants shooting wounded Nigerian soldiers in the head and beheading a man in civilian clothes as well as charred parts claimed to be the remnants of a downed Nigerian jet fighter. 5. Fuel tanker explosion at Upper Iweka, Onitsha, Anambra State, which led to the loss of over 69 lives and several properties on Sunday. There has been an unusual increase in crime and Buhari and Osinbajo are doing nothing about it. I believe you are amongst the ignorant few who believe that we should wait for a 100 days before we begin to criticize the govt. I won't wait to die before I speak truth. I have no virgins waiting for me on the other side. infomind98: |
I am not a lady so what do I say now? |
War start!!! |
They keep banning this thing everyday. Please Nigeria Police should match action with words. |
Imagine he had to wait for 48 hours to issue a statement. So much for a leader. And some funny people are praising him... I pity this country. We are finished as a people. ![]() |
We must come together to fight this scam called APC AND Buhari.. Enough is enough |
Ok |
4 days gone already...And Buhari has not achieved anything on that list. What type of country is this? Why are we blessed with the wrong type of leaders? |
Jonathan is hereby acquitted as charged. Thank you APC... STEALING is not CORRUPTION BAD DEBT is not BAD |
To retain the public goodwill PMB should have sent a media to the press as he was sending one to the CCB. We want to believe he has nothing to hide. All this 30 day stuff is not helping his case at all, Nigerians are tired of leaders who are not straight-forward. APC seems to have suddenly lost control of the media. |
That was in the past...that is if we can take your words to be true. But we have a new Sheriff in town, let's see how he makes us smile in the next four years. |
It's too early to judge if the move was clueless or brainless. Let's just see how this move checks the Boko Haram crisis. Give the Senior Elder the benefit of doubt. |
Start by stepping on the toes that got you there. |
This man will be shocked at how fast he will become irrelevant in the scheme of things. The ministerial list will send shivers down his spine. Osibanjo will be made so useless that he will only make public appearances on Sundays at the Villa Chapel as the new pastor. |
Joke of the week. ![]() |
Asari calm down. If God has allowed it to happen this way then he surely has a purpose. I am sure GEJ cannot be blamed for the over 50 people killed over the weekend by Boko Haram over the weekend. We have a new head to carry all the wahala..I pray that God gives him the needed wisdom to lead. |

Brother it's too early to say. SGF is from the SE. It doesnt matter, LOWER NIGER REGION calls. Join the march basisop: |
Al-jazeera is run from Qatar, the foremost financiers of Sunni terrorist organisations all over the world- remember Hamas. They promote ISIS like mad. At a point I was thinking Al-jazeera has been taken over by ISIS. See how they report Boko Haram's gains with great detail as if they are trying to pass a message across. I stopped watching Al-jazeera a long time ago. I'll rather spend the whole day watching C-SPAN than that channel. |
