I do not engage in e-brawls and I have never had cause to curse or openly condemn anyone.

The only time I made an exception was in politics and it had to do with someone I liked and enjoyed his company on here, before we fell apart based on my political leanings.
I took full responsibility for my actions and did not apologize to the mods because I felt deeply maligned.


This is not me playing the sanctimonious card on those who feel the best form of catharsis is engaging perceived opponents in verbal duels.


As a matter of personal principle, I ask myself..."after insulting him or her, after the tirades, what next? will it make things better?
So I look for other means to vent....after which I pray.
Then I start asking for strength to truly forgive whoever threw pelts at me.....that's if I feel truly hurt.

This is not to excuse myself as someone who never uses hard words on people....
But I try my best not to.
By the grace of the Almighty, I have been blessed with the gift of words, words come to me naturally.
The choice behoves on me daily, whether I want to Make or Mar with my words.

I was on said thread because of Kbninc.
I followed him there.
KB's my friend off NL, and not just any kind of friend. Lol. So you can imagine how it must have felt just watching her speak to him in the lowest of lows.
Yet, I kept my cool.

Because of my grammar diary, I followed Larrysun so I could monitor his "English" more closely...
That, I am sure is what prompted him to mention me FIRST on the thread.
I replied.
If you know my antecedents, you'd agree I'm very good at throwing shades using sarcasm...I declined, I didn't wanna meddle so I gave a straight reply.

It was even another friend on the thread who brought it to my attention that Standd called me gullible and a person bereft of home-training.

I could have changed it for her at that moment, but I have an absurdly high tolerance limit.

So, I threw shades too....albeit softly.
I even pitied her at some point based on Larry's jabs at her.
You all saw for yourself how she kept convulsing with my sobriquet at the fore of her lips.

Before Larry said things to her she said things to him. Guy stop making excuses for bad behaviour. The lady has been cursing everyone up and down with reckless abandon. Even mismycoli who came to laugh her own jeje did not escape it. Is she on her period or something?? I checked what the mismycoli wrote and did not see anything. Even guys that came to comment, she curse them join. She jus dey curse up and down like a market woman. Tufiakwa!!

Guy since you love her so much, preach self-control and humilty to her because the Lord resists the proud and raises the humble. I am melancholic, I am snob, I am this I am that. Shey na only you be malcholic for Nairaland? You call someone 'thing' because you you get presidential jet.
