joyteachdaily: Last week, something happened in my class that left me thinking deeply about parenting and discipline.
I gave my students homework on Friday, to be submitted on Monday. Come Monday, I noticed one of them quietly scribbling away in class. I walked closer and yes, she was writing the same homework I gave days ago.
When I asked her, she denied it immediately. Boldly. Without blinking. I felt disappointed, not just because she didn’t do the homework, but because she lied.
So, I raised my voice a little (in love, not in anger), and told her to kneel outside the class for lying. No beating. No insults. Just correction.
The next day, her mother stormed the school. “Why did you bully my child?” she asked. I was stunned. Bully? Because I corrected her child for lying and doing homework in class?
That moment made me realize something. Many parents today don’t want teachers to correct their children, yet they still expect those same children to grow into disciplined adults.
Dear parents, When you defend your child’s wrongs instead of addressing them, you’re teaching them that lying is fine as long as someone covers for them.
Discipline isn’t hatred. Correction isn’t bullying. Teachers are partners in raising your children, not enemies.
What do you think, should teachers stop correcting children to avoid being misunderstood, or should we keep doing what’s right no matter what? Torture in the name of discipline, Africa my Africa. Showing wickedness in the name of correction Na so China do to develop their country, Africa traditional discipline is cruelty, tinubu dem gangs, our fathers led us this way and it achieved nothing except backwardness |

Mrchippychappy: Bro I totally get what you mean but Nigeria right now, if Christians don't build alliances wisely, in the next 5 years, before the end of this second term of this evil administration, we would have all been decimated. This is their plan and it is being fast-tracked. So that’s why you’ll choose slavery as an only option, helping the person who should be the one helping you |

Momentum123: I really don't know why what is wrong with you guys. Those other teams you guys see their points are before deduction of points. We can only lose two points and we will have 15 points. What we need to do right now is to score more goals and win this match without conceding any goal. Also check matches played, stop confusing yourself |

Mybettingtips: The Argentine team is not special. Our boys are playing well just not lucky with goals. The ref killed the game with the dangerous free kick he gave them. I can’t believe didn’t give us that clear pk after he gave them that freekick Argentina team are nothing special bcoz it’s 2 for them already, if na 0-0 Nigeria no go see ball play until they score That’s how football works, you play and give your opponent to see what they got in the bag, it seems Nigeria only got muscle and power, let’s see if we can muscle Argentina to victory |
