If you live in Lagos, supporting a family of 3 and maybe parents, you would realise that even with that much you will struggle to buy a car.

Just 3 years ago, you could get a decent, direct toks car for 3M. Now, same quality of cars go for 10M+. Question is who is taking all that money out of your pocket? The govt. directly stealing from you in the name of taxing importation.

To cook any small meal today, you have to buy 1000 naira pepper. Freaking 1000 Naira. Same quantity of pepper used to go for 100# just 2 to 3 years ago.

Cost of stables 10X and 5x, but average earning maybe 1.5X.

To provide electricity in Lagos for a house with 1 freezer and 1 fridge, your monthly cost would be a little shy of 100K.

Last year, I was given an "estimate" by an experienced builder.
In his words, "I assure you that this money will not finish before we finish building the house".
So far, I have spent an additional 6 million and they haven't finished.
I would have suspected them of cheating me except that my first son is personally supervising the project and buying materials himself.

Federal civil servants maybe one million
States maybe 1million
Local government maybe one million
All banks maybe one million
There are thousands of small businesses like hotels, gas stations, bakeries, pure water factories, super markets, hospitals, saw mills, factories and etc all needing salaried workers. It is safe to assume most income earners are salary earners though many also have side hustles and many are artisans.

Except you have extra income/ help, you might not cope with 100,000 monthly in lagos

The truth is where we will use see a job of 500k in Nigeria
This is Nigeria, anybody that is making 300k with a family of 4 or less is doing well, we should not let anybody pressure you

So for the 100k salary for a single guy it is fairly enough to live life managely well
Any writeup that will counter what I am saying is nonsense
Rent is paid every year, not something you pay daily

If all this complains are true ,there are other ways of pressing home their needs,e g industrial court or relevant labour laws ..it's a private firm .. everyone can down tools at once to press the management to step up not by joining a union.
