Good One, Thanks for the Inspirational quotes. The One that startled me was the definition of an Entrepreneur as one who jumps off a cliff and builds a plane on his way down, that's Classic.

Houseofglam7:
Where would we be if not for make up?

hahahahaha

Floyd45:
I finally saw DOPE last night. Err! The first few minutes of the movie brought back some nostalgia from the 90's and i felt i should enjoy this movie. Forest Whitaker my man was doing the voice overthingy. Hol up! that where it about ended for me with the storyline/plot of the movie. The lens was fantasic, directing was on point and also the cast did good. Well some of the cast, ASAP Rocky and Tyga's role of drug dealers wasn't convincing at all. I'll give it a 7/10 seeing that its one of our own who directed the movie Rick Famuyiwa.
I couldnt help but think if any Nigerian Director over here could pull of a movie with the 90's constumes down here.

Yea, I watched it too last night, It was great, I felt like I was back in the 90s, I loved d role Malcom played, He was thoughtful, disciplined, and not always in a hurry in taking rash decisions. True ASAP's role wasn't convincing but I overlooked it cos I was focussing on Malcom and his friends. Nice movie....couldn't believe I missed out on it last year.

olu4life:
Exposed by Keanu Reeves - This is one hell of a creepy movie. Loads of subliminal messages ongoing in it. Been long I saw such movie. Suspicious underg stuff going on it

I downloaded dat movie last week, gonna check it out soon.

armadeo:
I only hit the cinema's for epic movies. The rest downlaodnand watch at my pace.

Just watched the revenant. Now that's one I shoulda seen on the big screen.

Exactly! On Point

armadeo:
Some of the movies in my download list are there due to the hype. Not that I'm really into it.

Those on the cinema list are A MUST WATCH. on box office night if possible.

Ps add dead pool to cinema and God's of Egypt to download.

Lol

This is how I do it, all d movies I listed, first I'd want to give dem d benefit of d doubt. I simply follow my heart, some if I feel are average, I'd simply download dem and watch just to pass d time, d Blockbusters are hard to get online when released, those are d ones I go to d theatre to watch. But if some of d so called blockbusters are over hyped, I'd rather download dem with our public wifi than wasting my money. That's how my approach has been when it comes to movies. I just follow my instinct.

SIRcumalot:
that god of Egypt trailer looks alot like that invincible movie that starred that Indian chic, in slumdog millonaire the new Superman and Mikey Rourke.
the trailer looks bad but in a good way am looking forward to it.

If I'm not mistaken, were u referring to the movie "Immortals", cos d Indian chic featured in dat movie.

armadeo:
Already afraid of competition. I am sure dead pool didn't get up to that budget. The preview of GOE wasn't much. Looked average to me. Well till it's out.

Did you cross check the mummy. Its the one with tom cruise right?

Honestly, I haven't seen d Trailer of "The Mummy"....will check it out 2moro to know d details and features of d movie.

armadeo:
I think the mummy is 2017.

I know the ones I would watch UN the cinema and the ones I would watch via download.

I for see God's of Egypt flopping.

According to what I read, Gods Of Egypt was made with a very huge budget of 150mill bucks, and was initially set to be released on d same month (Feb.) alongside "DeadPool", but d producers fear they may not be able to compete with "DeadPool" lol, so they shifted d movie to April.

Goahead:
Here goes my list of movies on queue....
Dope Sicario The duff (looks old) The wrong car The last witch hunter Yup.... Coming right back.

Seen all except "Dope" and "the wrong car"

Floyd45:
i m downloading it right now.. from moviecounter

oh dats great, enjoy

Floyd45:
Cool! I just read the synposis and i seem to like it. I was suprised i missed it last year that was why i asked. You got a download link?

Yea I got d movie in my system, will upload it in my Dropbox and share it on Monday.

dljbd1:
Why is DeAdPoOl and Gods of Egypt not on this list

You are right, I later discovered dat I missed out on both movies. I think both would be shown probably before d middle of d year if I'm not mistaken.
I've confirmed frm a site, DeadPool would be released by February, Gods Of Egypt was initially set on February but rumours have it dat It might be shifted to April 2016.

Floyd45:
Really? Can't recall the movie showing in cinemas in naija

Yea they did show "DOPE" early last year I can affirm dat, I visited the cinema and saw d movie advert tagged "Now Showing", and I know their website and monitor all the movies dat are been shown.

Floyd45:
Yeah? What cinema if i may ask

Silverbird Cinema, Abuja

cao:
Dope.
I don't know how I missed this film, looking like a 90s flick, well I hope it's as good as the trailer I just watched.

Dat movie had been downloaded in my PC for months now unattended to I can't say why, sure it looks like something cut out from the 90s, I'll give it a try, cos in d middle of last year it was even showing @ d Cinemas but I never bothered.

Re-watching "REIGN OF FIRE" via a movie channel on dstv. A 2002 movie. I remembered dis movie so well..been a long time I saw. It's really a star-studded movie featuring Christian Bale and Co.

cao:
Correction: There might not be a sequel, looks like someone put wrong stats when I was reading the info, it's tanked at the box office. It's only made $10 million over its budget & for a film to break even it needs to make double its budget.

Dats so little, not surprised at d same time.

cao:
Like I said earlier it's based on a book, it will be a trilogy (3rd book is coming out later this year).

Ok, my exact thoughts...knew there would be a sequel. Moreover, I've noticed a common theme and plot in most of these movies dat are done in d apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic settings. Movies like Hunger Games, Divergent series, Maze Runner and now The 5th Wave. 1) They Involve large number of young adults and Teens, 2) There's always a rebellion against d Authority, 3) There's always a virus spreading. 4) Like a post-apocalyptic setting, there's shortage of food and water 5) They all have their Book from which their stories are taken from in chapters. Just my observation though, a similar pattern.

armadeo:
cool. wont even bother.
need clear movies to downmload,
if you csn get the things we don in the shadows HD holla at me.
feel its a coded gem

Ok, I'll try

THE 5TH WAVE, well It was a nice movie, good one after seeing it @ d Theatre. Nevertheless, the ending was bit of a let down, cos I was like, what about the Armies who were supposedly used by "The Others", are they gonna get away with their crime just like that? Or Is this a sequel to possibly d next chapter? We'll find out.
