Springz:
Watching Centurion.

Good old centurion, I remembered that movie

dolphinheart:
Just watched the revenant.

Do I really like the film?
No, but its verry ok.

How do I view di capro's acting ?
100% perfect. If there is 101 sef , ill give it to him.

Director?
95%
Cus my 100 can only go to james Cameron.

The bear attack screen was epic.

DiCarprio did well,I really felt for him though,so much suffering, survival, adaptation and betrayal, but @ d end he got his revenge and some how Justice prevailed.

gsalvatore:
The movie is not hyped imo. It deserves all the buzz it/'s getting.

You have to understand that the movie was based on a real event not some fictional stuff.. So Leonardo's performance was excellent and Oscar worthy no doubt...

I'm enjoying it too..

That was why I said the movie is worth it, I never doubted it.

boofydon:
Dude, leonardo's acting in the Revenant was a masterpiece. Sympathy? Lol.

You couldn't deduce from what I was trying to say. I have nothing against Leonardo, I've already watched Revenant (in fact on Monday,I'm gonna post d movie here), and it's cool, award winning movie, Leonardo's gonna win it no doubt and he deserves it. I just used him as a typical example of d unnecessary tension built up by fans when it comes to awards. I call it unnecessary because if u are good ur talent and ability would speak for itself and set u apart. Yes people play politics with these things, but eventually nothing will stop u from getting what is rightfully deserved (not out of sympathy).

Csami:
Bros u no go understand. Every entertainment channel just dey talk about the Revenant and Leonardo as if na only am never win Oscar.

That is exactly what his(Leonardo) fans are doing, they are painting a picture to make him look like the "victim", d one whose privileges were denied. The result is that more pressure will be built on the folks that give these awards whether by voting or selection, so that they may be forced to give the award to d person(s) who d vast majority of fans have labelled "the victim". And this is not healthy for the movie industry as they will start giving awards to persons out of "sympathy" instead of "Talent, skill and ability". The Revenant is cool though, just dat fans shouldn't do what 9ja politicians would label as "overheating the polity".

Graviton2:
Just watched The Hateful Eight. Awesome!

Is it bad that I was so happy (I was actually clapping and cheering) when Daisy Domergue got hanged?

This Quentin Tarantino knows how to make masterpieces, from Inglorious Basterds to The Hateful Eight. He's a genius. Period!

I'll see "the hateful eight", let me finish with "The Revenant" first.

SIRcumalot:
Vex no join, but its fun guessing who go win what

ok, It's fun though! We know when it comes to movie awards there'll always be politics played on who gets what! Even in 9ja nollywood or music we dey do am wella, e.g, the recent drama between Don Jazzy and Olamide says it all.

SIRcumalot:
Na the politics be that na you need to act all this kind movie to win this thing.
That danish girl movie na still the same wayo the main actor wan use(e no go work), a man playing a woman ? And na period piece too.
Or that Mumu concussion movie Will Smith go act.
Depp and Cruise no send the academy again.

Hm, u and Csami dey vex o! Me I no fit drink Panadol becos of dis their awards. That is not my business, all I know is that I watch and enjoy my movie with a nice plot and strong acting, Period! Who dem give award abi who dem no give no go ever change my life for good or for d worse.

Csami:
Everyone is shouting The Revenant! The Revenant! As if I saw a different The Revenant? They should just call Leonardo one side and hand him the Oscar jor! Me prefer the Danish girl to that movie.

I understand the movie is well hyped, but it's worth it, so far I'm enjoying it.

It's been Long Overdue, time for "The Revenant"

koice:
@all the emboldened, my favorites to win their respective categories.

OK, we'll see

Ignoring him would have sufficed.

abi? I tire o!

Oyehomie:
you don't watch movie.....You 'see' a movie...pls let's note dat....
I'M Seeing 'Shine Or Go Crazy' season 5. it's a Korean movie..nd it stopd @ 6. it's a good movie

oh plzzz..."If I say,"let's go watch (see) a movie" or "I watched (saw) a movie" - they are all correct.
The word"Movie" is just a slang or an informal word for "FILM"which is d original formal word used way back, and then what is a film?1a) A sequence of images of moving objects photographed by a camera and providing the optical illusion of continuous movement when projected onto a screen (b) It serves as a form of entertainment, information etc, and is usually shown in d cinema.
So there is nothing wrong with the above expression as long as you are watching a sequence of moving images displayed using various media (ie. PC, TV, Cinema etc)

https://www.dropbox.com/s/2kq8ehv2lj22b04/THE%20PERFECT%20GUY%20%282015%29.mp4?dl=0 Sorry for d delay.

armadeo:
That guy took a beat down. Remember the part when the doc was asking how many fingers and they were tapping his neck.

That's an epic franchise beginning

Yea,for sure. I also remembered at a point when Creed fell to d floor after given what looked like a knock out, and switched to a dream mode, remembering so many things. The moment he shockingly got up again to d amazement of the crowd, the commentator was like... "Creed just got up like a man possessed....." Epic!

koice:
He got his ass beat, managed to knocked down the champ once, still lost the fight anyways. I see a continuation of the Rocky Balboa franchise... this ain't over.

Yea, I thought the Champ really drilled him nearly beyond recognition, but creed gave him a good run for his money.

D baby is like..."May I be ur pikin"?

blublahd:
I know na........ Our accents cannot be cloned like china products.

yea! I get it, exactly!

"CREED" What else can I say? Fantastic Movie!! Just fantastic.

SIRcumalot:
Bro, Na god work you dey do for here.

lol, I no be god o! "Good work" u mean?

blublahd:
You can't China make us.....

hm, I don't understand, I was referring to our own local english "accent".

At dis point, It's shameful being a United Fan, I can't believe what I'm seeing, d football nearly bored me to death. #VangaalOut

If u can be patient till Monday, so dat I can use d Internet to upload d movie to my dropbox.

Graviton2:
Thank you. Loved it.

You're welcome bro

koice:
Good movie. The Nigerian accent was terrible though. As a Nigerian, I wasn't convinced at all.The only guy that can a play a credible Nigerian is a Nigerian or Ghanaian.

Lol! He sounded more like a South African, but I overlooked dat cos it's not easy to imitate. What belongs to a Nigerian can only be excellently done by a Nigerian.
