"The 33", Nice movie, A true life story, learned so many positives from it. The Latin american actors really pulled this one off, credits to them. It's a reminder of d deadly incident of d 33 Chilean Miners who were trapped hundreds of metres so deep inside a mine after its sudden collapse, what would be their rescue plan? Imdb: 7/10 |

koice: A truly shitty movie. I watched like 30 mins or so, then skipped to the middle, saw more crap, then finally jumped to the ending, saw 2 people kneeling down execution style, then one of them - the male one - gunned down unexpectedly, and the female one pardoned, unimpressed, I deleted the sh*t from my system lol, I think it did ok. Imdb is 6.1/10 not bad for a movie. It's all about d CIA Secret Research Project called "Ultra" |

This is by far the best horror movie I've seen this year, but then, I haven't watched a lot, so... Seen It,one of d earliest horror movies I downloaded back in 2014. But On d contrary, it's one of d worst 2014 horror movies. Nothing terrifying or scary about it,just a lady been chased about by some strange personalities |

Emm... there's no Tom Hardy in 'Gone Girl' as far as I'm aware oh. Seen the Movie 2 times already and I can authoritatively state that the fall guy in the movie was 'Neil Patrick Harris', the Legen - wait for it - dary guy from 'How I Met Your Mother' sitcom. Amy murdered his character, then framed him as a kidnapper-rapist. The perfect fall guy. Noted |
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by obixcel(m): 10:44am On Dec 28, 2015 |
koice: Tom Hardy is the only actor that I know that can command a host of several accents fluently: American, Irish, Welsh, Scottish, and his native English. Acting comes easily to him, a born method actor. He becomes one with his characters, be it a concerned Dad, a villainous freak like Bane, Mad hatter like Max....
Surely, there is more to Tom Hardy than you perceived. Tom Hardy in "Gone Girl", did very well, I felt for him though as he was seen as d Fall guy in d movie. |

koice: Well, you're really missing out on great horror movies, cuz most of the more interesting and successful hollywood productions are of the found-footage genre.
-Rec -Paranormal Activity Franchise -Blair Witch Project 1&2 -The Night In The Woods -Quarantine -V/H/S 1&2 -The Afflicted -Grave Encounters 1&2 -Troll Hunter -Area 51 -etc
None of the above are of low budget production btw, in fact, 60 percent of found-footage movies are mostly of middle to high high budget. ok. The thing is, they give me d feelings like I'm watching an unscripted reality show. |
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by obixcel(m): 12:10am On Dec 28, 2015 |
koice: I love 'Found-footage' movies. Crave em, can't enough of em. I just love the realistic feel they have about them.
Adding ''The Visit' to my download list asap. hm, Someone will hold a camcorder and will be filming everyone else from beginning to d ending. I've always not taken such movies seriously, and they are extremely low budget movies, certainly not my taste but good for you though. |

Epic.

Tried watching "The Visit"...dat is eh I watched for like 30 mins, and kept fast forwarding to the very end, dunno what category of genre to classify it...totally rubbish. I don't usually enjoy watching movies where d actors use real cam recorders throughout. |

armadeo: couldnt watch all the movies as planned last night only home. i must say i loved it particularly the type of english the aliens spoke.
sheldon cooper was perfect for the role he has the type of voice that fit the character.
anyway just watched hotel translyvania 2 which erased the horror of ridiculous six from my mind and scouts guide to a zombie apocalypse. now i wanna watch the last witch hunter. Even without seeing "Scouts Guide to Zombie...whatever...saw dat it had a very low rating, didn't bother downloading it. I've seen "Hotel Transylvannia 2", but I have" The Ridiculous 6" in my system, dunno how ridiculous it would be, let me check. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Was Jesus Born On Christmas Day? by obixcel(m): 9:13am On Dec 26, 2015 |
Unfortunately, Jehovah's witnesses, who are d Chief Propagandists in creating confusion regarding Christ's birth, do not even care whether Christ was born. They have relegated Jesus to the background, to them Jesus is just a mini-god, or angel michael, AND not as God come in d flesh to reconcile mankind to himself as biblically proven. I don't waste time to argue with them. |

Popcorn. Scotch Trials for me any day any time. Most folks dat condemn The Scotch Trials, I can bet more dan 70% of dem haven't watched d first one dat came out in 2014, so they won't understand how it all led to d 2nd. 30% who watched d first one condemn it for understandable reasons. But I love it. |

snrman: 2. The Ridiculous 6
Why Critics Hated It: If you thought Adam Sandler’s low of 2015 would be The Cobbler, think again. This inexplicably well-cast movie is a tepid spaghetti western parody without a scrap of material hovering above merely braindead, hence the illustrious 0% critical approval rating. Yes, the actors are oddly committed to their parts (even the likes of Nick Nolte and Harvey Keitel), but it’s a brutal sit at two hours in length, there are maybe two funny scenes, and a lot of the “jokes” are dragged out until they definitely aren’t amusing anymore. With Sandler having three more movies to come as part of his lucrative Netflix deal, however, it seems like the worst may be yet to come, and most of them probably won’t have casts this awesome I have a honest question to ask. The articles u've posted so far tagged, "why critics hated (movie name)". ok I get it, but I wanna ask, Have u in particular watched the above listed movies? If so why do u hate them? If NOT, then what's d point in posting dem (it's obvious "Copy and Paste" it's easy, isn't it?) It would only discourage folks from attempting to see the movies because of d opinion of one individual. I only analyse movies dat I've watched, other persons' opinions may differ (we all respect that) so long d individual has seen d movie. Every movie, however beautiful it is, has it's own share of "critics" or even "metacritics". But It's unfair if one posts a critic's view without checking it out for him or herself. Just my opinion. |

snrman: 11. Survivor Why Critics Hated It: If there was some sort of reference book for straight-to-VOD thrillers, Survivor would tick practically every box. It’s basically a naff double bill of the two worst episodes of 24 that ever could be made glued together with a wildly squandered cast and a hilariously tiny budget (such that the CGI and location doubling are both terrible). Aside from being woefully boring, its biggest crime is that it barely features Pierce Brosnan at all, despite him receiving prominent billing in all the advertising. It’s all the more disappointing as this was a rare villainous role for the former Bond star, but like everyone else, he completely phones it in throughout. It’s boring, made with little imagination and maximum economy for a quick buck, but honestly, who the hell actually paid to see this? chai! bros, take am easy na,u mean u have to paste dis 3 times? Haba! |

Home Genysis Scorch trial Mockingjay American ultra Creed
Cao, cirmuell, obixcel. anyone I should skip? Home: I actually enjoyed d movie, maybe some animation movies don't just appeal to most folks. Genysis: With all due respect to my man, Arnold Swazniggar (pardon my spelling),dat movie doesn't cut it at all, terrible plot and execution despite d hype dat was built around d film. The time travelling (going back and forth) too made it a bit complicated , at a point I was lost In d movie. Scotch Trials: To me I think d movie is ok, at least better dan the first one dat came out last year (2014), it was great and I'm looking forward to d next and probably d final chapter. Creed: Haven't watched it but I saw dat d movie has a very high imdb rating of 8/10, so give it a try. Mocking Jay: Chai I love Hunger games, d first one(2012) and the Catching Fire (2013), but this Mocking Jay (part 1 and 2) finally made a mockery of d whole franchise, honestly. The movie just dull like d peace of d graveyard (especially d part 2), hardly entertaining, I don't know why d producers decided to end d franchise dat way. And why splitting it to 2 parts when it could easily have been fitted into one whole movie. I see no reason other than "greed" (more money from d fans) American Ultra: I haven't watched it yet, although I downloaded it and it's still in my PC, just give it a try, I'll do same. |

snrman: 13. Hitman: Agent 47 Why Critics Hated It: As if rebooting a “franchise” critics didn’t like the first time wasn’t bad enough (the 2007 original scored just 14%), this second attempt at the classic video game series still didn’t get it right, losing the essence of the titular character amid brainless, over-the- top action loaded with terrible CGI, bad acting and hilariously blatant product placement. This is exactly the reason why video game movies never get good reviews, because whether or not you’re a fan of the source material, they treat the audience with sheer contempt. It borders on incoherence and isn’t even satisfying on a visceral level because all the gunplay and big ‘splosions are haphazardly edited and soaked in crappy visual effects. hmm, good spoilers exhibition, I'll be waiting for, "why critics hated Mocking Jay (pt 1 & 2), Divergent, Insurgent. |
