That said, parts of trump foreign policy is the ONLY thing i kinda admire because I have long since been a staunch critic of meaningless American wars fought across the globe. Other parts of trump's administration has been an unmitigated disaster.

I will admit that i view parts of his foreign policy as favourable, especially considering that all his predecessors initiated meaningless wars and trump has assuaged that a bit but it's a bit of overstretch to say he's a genius when he was literally impeached for self serving foreign policies.

I don't think i would call damaging America's relationship with historical allies such as Germany, French, Canada and Britain while simultaneously cozying up to dictatorial regimes are the brilliant workings of a stable genius.
But as i posited earlier, I admire the fact that he hasn't started any war, although arguments can be made that America pulling out may lead to unforeseen bigger problems, just saying.

For them to confirm it means them coming to say that they themselves have verified the news as true. This is not what happened, CNN was reporting that a journalist from the Atlantic reported something citing anonymous sources, while fox was reporting that one of their journalists said that the Atlantic story was confirmed to her by other anonymous sources. Fox News even took pains during their broadcast to say they haven't verified what the anonymous sources were saying so they can disassociate themselves from any legal trouble that might come up from this.
