Warren: I think you called me a liar on national TV Bernie: Let's not do it right now...Do you want to have that discussion? We'll have that discussion Warren: Anytime Bernie: You called me a liar - You told me - alright let's not do it now Steyer *standing in d middle of the two...interjects* "I don't wanna get in the middle of it..I just want to say hi Bernie Bernie: Yea good Okay CNN is very, very wicked, no wonder #CNNIsTrash trended on that same night of d debate on Twitter. |

GalaticHorde: stupidity is the fact that you are allowed to have an opinion on this, worse still that you publicly proclaim your opinion even with your lack of perspective while looking at it from a liberal vs conservative bias! Gosh! I won't take too much time to explain how stupid this sounds from you as a black man in Nigeria but I will do you a favour and enlighten you a little, remember princess Diana? Yes that was Harry's mom! She lived and died under judgemental over scrutiny by British tabloids who'd do and say anything for a story, harry lived through this, harry is aware of the same patterns reoccurring with Meaghan and their son with more than a sprinkle of racism added to the mix even from some extended members of the royal family, read the tabloids and even sometimes mainstream outlets, Kate Middleton and Meaghan markle might do exactly the same thing like say caress their baby bumps or eat an avocado to stave morning sickness would get diametrically opposite coverage by the media! Enlighten yourself before you make a fool out of yourself next time! The world doesn't exist in shades of liberal or conservative exclusively! Meghan is an outsider and American, so she can afford to relinquish her royal duties, get back to doing her Hollywood thing. Whereas Harry is a full bred Son of the soil, and so to lose that Title just because you are trying to please your wife is stupidity. |

Frankly I don't care about the whole drama going on at the Royal Family in the UK. The only thing that makes me ponder is the fact that Meghan wants to return to Hollywood to LA but at the expense of Harry (In my humble opinion). What does Harry stand to gain by going to LA? The only person that benefits here is Meghan. In d future Harry may become a sitting duck only waiting to be served d Divorce papers. I feel for Harry though, but he allowed himself to be in dis awkward situation. I don't blame the British media for lashing out at Meghan; that's because these folks already know the end game and how everything is going to play out. Meghan is d selfish one here and Harry (who presently appears to playing along nicely like a lamb led to the slaughter) will soon get the rude awakening in due time. |

wirinet: I like your style and of debate, I wish posters can be as civil in presenting their point of view, instead of taking an adversary stance when others fail to agree with us, the world would indeed be better place.
You guys don't know Trump, I am sure 90% of his supporters only started knowing him the last few years before he declared for presidency. I have known him since the early 90's. I have a very close friend who loved Trump then and gave me his book to read. I even then disagreed with his philosophy of life as espoused by his book.
Trump's does not have any stance or position on any issue. He only says what people want to hear. He started out a democrat, then moved between independent and Republican, before settling for Republican. So you see his political views was very fluid. Trump was first strongly pro choice, then he switch to strongly pro life for the presidential campaign - https://www.google.com/amp/s/qz.com/1623437/trump-shifted-from-pro-choice-to-pro-life-as-he-planned-a-presidential-run/amp/
I really admire Trump, he is master of creating a persona that larger than life. I honestly have not seen other politician who commands so much control and adoration, and commands so much reverence by even his political party. He truly believes that if he committed murder in full glare of everyone, his supporters would still back him.
He is able to get everyone, including Forbes to believe he is a billionaire without any proof. He was able to have multiple extramarital affairs without any backlash. His Trump brand is just a brand, he sells the name "Trump hotel", it's difficult to know the real owners of his hotels and apartments.
Trump's foreign policy is a disaster. Not that Obama's was much better, but Trump made things far worse. Not that he does not have valid points in his various foreign policy views, but the way he is going about them have made worse an already bad situation. Yes China has been cheating the world on trade and intellectual theft, but the way to go about it is not to go it alone. He should have built a coalition with EU, Canada and some other allies to squeeze China. The US can't do it alone. The trade war had been going on for a year now, and China has not bulged. In fact Trump is in a weaker position now and need to give concessions to China, because of the upcoming elections. Trump main running point is the strong economy, the trade war is hiring both economies.
You guys do not understand the whole Iran deal. The deal was not done only with Obama's administration, but with other powers including Russia and China. Iran could not renege and the UN inspectors all confirm Iran was complying 100%. The 150 billion Obama paid Iran was not US money. It was Irans money seized after the 1979 revolution. Iran asked for it, and Obama gave it back. The deal was strictly to stop Iran developing nuclear weapons and it was effective. Trump would jump at the same deal if north Korea accept it.
Now north Korea has gone worse, they are still continuing to fire rockets and are preparing for a nuclear test. Crap @bolded, Everyone knew Trump except the ones that weren't paying attention. |

basilico: Let's admit that the media does not like Trump and actively blows out of proportion any thing he says or does. Clinton got over 65m votes . It's a breeze for her to get 700 of her supporters most likely her donors to write anything.
Obstruction of Congress is a made up crime. Trump asserted executive privellege and requested his colleagues not to appear before the witchunt committee led by Schiff. He went to thecourts seeking an interpretation . Schiff does not want to wait for the court, because they badly need to impeach the president on Wednesday. Going to the third branch of govt is now an obstruction of Congress and now is an impeachable offence.
In the case of abuse of power The Ukrainian President said he was not blackmailed. But the Dems say that Trump coerced him. The transcript of the call is out And nowhere does it imply blackmail , only that the media reporting selectively edited the call.
Joe Biden got paid 900000 USD for lobbying on behalf of Ukraine. Hunter Biden was being paid 1m USD by Burisma per year for 3 plus years just for seating on its board. He never travelled to Ukraine by the way so how can I be a board member and never even travel to the main theatre of operations, never mind that he had been just been kicked out of the Navy over drugs a month before he was made a board member.Hunter can't even speak Ukrainian. Victor Shokin was sacked because he was investigating Burisma and had also frozen some of its assets. In Feb 2016 Latvia authorities notified Ukraine that they had flagged some transactions thru their financial system from Burisma to Hunter Biden and three other Burisma board members. Then in March 2016 Biden forced Shokin out by threatening to withhold aid if Shokin was not fired. Joe gave them 6 hours to fire him or the aid 1b USD would be withdrawn. There is a video of him bragging how they had to fire the son of a bitch ie Victor Shokin.
4 witnesses including Shokin were denied visa to America by the US ambassador.Shokin was also poisoned twice. The US ambassador gave The New prosecutor a do not investigate list. The aid delivered to Ukraine was by advice from Yavanovich the ambassador who testified the other day was also being funneled to a George Soros NGO active in Ukraine.
In addition Obama sent Ukraine blankets and biscuits instead of lethal aid. Which Trump did this year. Dems are claiming that withholding of vital aid that Obama never provided is detrimental to America's national security.
Wirinet with all respect does Bidens action required the president to demand investigations ?
Facts don't lie, the truth is slowly creeping out. What is corruption in your esteemed opinion? You nailed it right there |

Boris Johnson is a brilliant politician with decades of experience. Boris Johnson have very little scandal (only his tumultuous love life) to his name. Boris Johnson has zero crime allegations to his name. His taxes are intact.
All the polls predicted a conservative win, so no surprise here. The labour party did not have a clear message. Jeremy Corbyn was drab and uninspirational. I wonder why he has not resigned. As much liberal as I am, I did not find the labour party and Jeremy Corbyn inspirational. Suck it |

wirinet: Is that the defense of the Republicans over the allegations against trump? Can a defence of "the prosecutions hates me" exonerate you from the crime? The Democrats accuse Trump of abuse of power, by blackmailing the Ukrainian president to announce an investigation into the Bidens and to publicly admit that they (rather than the Russians) interfered in the 2016 US elections. The Democrats presented their evidence (witness statements from diplomats involved with Ukraine and some officials of the state department ). Why not Republicans counter the witness statements and bring their own witnesses from the state department? Why always distracting from the subject matter, they hate Trump, Joe Biden is corrupt, whistleblower is a spy, Adam Schiff is planing a coup with Pelosi, the hearing are flawed because it's was done in secret, then the hearing is unfair because it is now done in the open, and all sorts of stupid excuses except the abuse of office allegations itself. The Republicans hated Obama as much as the Democrats hated Trump, and at one time, the Republicans controlled both sides the house and the senate. Why not bring up a single allegation against Obama? You guys keep forgetting that what goes around comes around. If as you guys are saying that there are no limits to executive power, then one day - whether in 2020 or 2024, the Democrats would control the white house. You guys will have no right to complain if a Democratic president further extends executive powers and become dictatorial. What allegations!? Bulsh*t, crapy, made up articles of impeachment. When I read the articles of impeachment, I almost laughed my lungs out. It's as nonsensical and baseless as it comes. |

feedthenation: What most people fail to understand is that an impeachment is not reversing an election mandate, rather it is holding an elected official accountable whilst in office. In layman's language, it is like someone being accepted to university, that fellow got caught cheating in an examination, kicking the person out of university is not reversing the university initial acceptance but punishing the person for wrong doing. This is so simple, yet so difficult for most people to understand.
Nobody likes impeachment process, because it shows that there is a flaw in the electoral process, something Nancy Pelosi has been trying to avoid. But Trump always thinks he is above the law and constitution of the land. @Bolded Actually On the Contrary, what most people understand is that this impeachment was planned long before Trump took his oath of office. The Dems already made up their minds and moved in for the kill the moment they took over the House in 2018. |
